📣 Tell the Team: Navigation in the New Seller Central

Hello Sellers,

If you've been moved to the new Seller Central, you're probably still getting used to where everything lives. Your feedback has been loud and clear, and the team building this experience wants to hear more.

Starting today, we're launching a series where the team building the new Seller Central hears directly from you, area by area. We'll follow up regularly with what's been changed based on your input.

How this works:

  • Each post focuses on one area of the new Seller Central
  • The team responsible for that area reads every response
  • We'll publish regular "✅ You Spoke, We Built" updates showing what changed because of your feedback

🗣️ First up — Navigation. Tell the team in the replies below:

  • What can't you find in the new Seller Central?
  • What's taking more clicks than it used to?
  • What do you need quick access to that you can't find now?

The team building navigation and discoverability reads every response here. Your feedback directly shapes what gets improved next.

In the meantime, here are some recent improvements designed to help you find what you need:

1. Site Map — You can now access a full site map showing every tool in the new Seller Central, organised by workspace. Find it two ways: in the navigation menu, or at the bottom of any page in the footer.

img

2. Breadcrumbs — Every sub-navigation page now shows your path at the top of the screen (e.g., Products > Manage Products > Manage A+ Content), so you always know where you are and can navigate back quickly.

img

3. Tooltips — You'll find tooltips throughout the new Seller Central that help you connect familiar tools to their new locations. If you're looking for something that's been renamed or moved (for example, "Catalogue" is now under "Products," "Inventory" is now under "Supply Chain," and tools like Vine and A+ Content live under their parent workspaces Marketing and Manage Products), hovering over menu items will show you where things landed.

img

4. Bookmarks (coming soon) — Within the next two weeks, you'll be able to bookmark any page in the new Seller Central for one-click access to the tools you use most. Stay tuned for the latest and greatest on our "✅ You Spoke, We Built" posts coming in the next couple of weeks.

Based on feedback we've already received:

  • Many of you told us CTRL+Click (or using right-click and opening an experience in a new tab) wasn't working to open links. This has been implemented across the menu and workspaces, and is rolling out to remaining areas.

Next up in this series: Action Centre. Stay tuned — and in the meantime, tell us what you need below. 👇

It's a nasty layout, Takes 10 clicks just to get to some pages that previously was one click. Who ever designed it clearly is not an actual user.

Absolutely hate the new layout. Why fix something that wasnt broken!

Dont need those charts- they just clutter up the page.

However I do want to see at a glance if I have any messages to answer..but that is no longer visible - I have to click on the message icon to find out.

I now have the new version in the warehouse and the old version at home, the new layout is impossible to work with, 10 clicks for one option and the worst part is that the other European countries have been left out, no way to check account health across the sites, no revenue list on all European sites.

The whole centre of the page is information that is required once in a blue moon and centres around revenue generation for Amazon.

This was evidently designed by AI and they just got the information that they thought sellers would want and AI made the new page.

There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the version that we have used for a few years, even the one before was OK and then it actually improved because you could choose what you wanted.

Other useful items such as out of stock, low stock have gone along with a whole lot of other useful items now buried.

If I want to check the account health of my sites I have to open up 8 different pages just to see it, if I want to know how much of MY money is being held by Amazon in DD+7 I have to go to 8 pages and add up the totals.

I think it is about time that Amazon admitted that this is a disaster, signed off by a person who should not be in the job and actioned by people who reply on AI to do their jobs.

By all means 'tweak' the existing seller central, but I think Amazon has heard loud and clear from ALL sellers, a lot like me 14 years on Amazon and we are already fed up to the back teeth with Amazon and what they do to us and this really has got everyone going because it is trash and we do not want it, it is unintuitive, clumsy, missing everything we need on a daily basis and takes more clicks to complete any task, as I said in a previous post it is like emptying a filing cabinet onto the floor and then going to look for the file you want.

Amazon may say that nobody likes change, what we don't like is change for change sake and then getting an item so retrograde.

Here are the screenshots of the missing parts of the old page that I screenshot from my home version which is still the old one.

imgimg

So just to show another example, here is the new centre of the page taking up a third of the page and then the old version, which one actually has helpful information?

This is why the new version is so disliked.

Most of the features I see in your screenshots appear to be of no use to BMVD sellers and would probably just get in the way of managing inventory. Also, the screenshots look to be taken from the USA version of the site.

I was put on the beta layout months ago but quickly reverted back as I found it slow and hard to navigate. Too many needless bells and whistles.

I really just want a minimalist layout that allows me quick access to the things I use regularly, like managing inventory and orders. The rest is mostly clutter IMO.

Having said that, the current format is far from perfect. The manage inventory pages are still very slow to update, even on a fast internet connection.

Fixing that would get a thumbs up from me...

Most of the information contained on the page is irrelevant and not particularly useful to us.

The relevant information we see at a glance is either buried or inaccurate.

Customer messages we now have to rely on an email to know there is a message, without searching every 5 minutes to check.

All figures have been rounded, with the 2 decimal points missing, making the figures inaccurate.

Now we have to click on extra tabs to see the correct figure with the 2 decimal places (unimportant to most, but quite important to us)

Overall, this is certainly an "experience" but not a useful one nor a needed one.

Amazon would be better off concentrating its resources on improving the seller experience by fixing the A-Z and Safe-T systems, rather than putting lipstick on these pages.

I for one am willing to try before I judge, but holy smoke, this is incredible, 4 or 5 clicks to get what we want to see, previously was 1 click, hard to find the majority of things that most sellers check on a daily basis. Without a shadow of a doubt, Amazon have totally and clearly messed up with this design. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the old seller central design. Disappointing to say the least.

The new web portal is very slow to load for me. Not sure if it’s my device. I have to revert to the old webpage. Does anyone know how to fix this?

There was nothing wrong with the old version. If it's not broken, don't try to fix it!
