Individual seller to Sole Proprietor
Hello,
I hope someone will be able to help me.
When i have created my account, I have selected entity as Individual seller’s. However, I would like to change it to Sole Proprietor. Has anyone done that before and can guide me as it seems that i can’t find this option on my sellers account.

You’ll need to contact seller support and ask them to reopen the legal entity section if your account
You’ll also need a recent letter from hmrc with confirmation of your UTR number

Hi
I have made this change myself and the only way is to have seller support do it. The option is just greyed out and can’t be changed.
As others have said I would have the letter with UTR number ready to go as you may be suspended until you upload it.

Yes, finally I got through to the person on SS who knew what I was asking for and so i have submitted everything today. Waiting for the verification. I have professional account, but that’s not what I’m after which is to be sole proprietor rather than individual seller.
