Price tanking
Has anyone else noticed in February there's been a dramatic reduction in prices across their ASINs?
Not sure if this is a mixture of half term (UK), new shipping rates or new inexperienced sellers not aware they're losing money.
Appreciate people may be getting COGS cheaper in some areas, but not 20/30% cheaper to warrant a dramatic price tank out of no where.
Any ideas?

Hi @Seller_AeguohPVBc41I, do you use automated pricing?
Seller_AeguohPVBc41I
Thank you for your response.
Although I appreciate an autopricer can help maintain BuyBox etc. It was very noticeable the strange behaviour on 10's of listings where sellers (many cases new sellers) were tanking prices in an unusual way.
I appreciate its the nature of the market and no price is guarenteed - just found it odd how this price tanking episode occured over a quick period of time.

It might be that these sellers are using automated pricing rules to match the lowest price, Featured offer price, etc. and that is why the prices changed. Of course, I'm only speculating as I haven't seen the specific listings in question.

precisely why repricers should be banned. all they do is cause a bad experience for the customer in the end because the seller has no margin to provide for an after sales service that many buyers like and need.

probably people are suffering sales as sales are down for businesses and they are either selling at a loss to get money in or they are new and selling at loss to gain traction.. i would say they need the money coming in
