removal of the "Frequently Returned Item"

Hello, everyone. One of our products has the mark indicating a high return rate. While the Buyer Voice dashboard indicates a 12% return rate, our verified metrics show:

April 2024 return rate: ~4%

Lifetime return rate: ~7%

To enhance customer satisfaction, we have implemented significant improvements:

✅ Content Optimization

Updated product descriptions with dimensional charts and usage scenarios

Enhanced main product images with scale references and lifestyle context

Revamped A+ content with 360-degree views and comparison guides

✅ Quality Assurance

Maintained 4.8+ average rating across all verified purchases

Received 98% positive feedback (with 0 critical complaints)

Implemented upgraded packaging to reduce shipping-related returns

We fully align with Amazon's customer obsession principle and have invested substantially in product quality improvements. However, this designation continues to adversely impact:

Conversion rates (28% decrease since badge implementation)

Customer trust metrics (15% increase in pre-purchase inquiries about returns)

Our team kindly requests a thorough review of our case by the Amazon team. We would appreciate assistance and direct contact with the relevant Amazon representatives to resolve this matter efficiently.

PLEASE HELP, thank you very much!

Hello @Seller_YVYBR7D9vw2aP,

According to the Frequently-returned item badge page, your ASIN is determined to be a frequently returned ASIN by comparing your ASIN’s return rate with the return rates of similar ASINs. The return rate is based on the number of units that were shipped, for which customers had initiated returns.

The Voice of the Customer dashboard provides both the trailing 3-month and trailing 12-month return rates for your products, as well as the suggested return rate for your product to avoid badging. By comparing your product's return rates to the suggested return rate, you can better understand why your ASIN may have received the frequently returned item badge.

If you have reviewed the above and still have any follow up questions, please contact Seller Support with details of the ASINs you'd like to have reviewed. If you share your case ID in this thread, I'll review to ensure it's being addressed properly.

Regards,

- Manny
