Selling used books on Amazon is so easy!

At least that's what they tell you before you sign up.

I've just become a Private Seller in order to sell my inventory of used books an Amazon, and after just a few days it's obvious I’ve wasted my time.

Every single book I've tried to list needs brand approval and proof of a bulk purchase of each title! Excuse me. Hello! These are second-hand books!

I've tried contacting help several times and just get the runaround.

I know all you booksellers already know all the problems, so I'm sorry to be preaching to the choir, but I just had to get it off my chest. It is soul-crushing. I thought this seller account was going to be my lifeline.

These sales regulations are simply insane. And after reading several posts on this forum, it appears no one is coming to our rescue.

Best of luck to all of you still trying to sell your books.

unfortunately over the years Amazon has been plagued with sellers trying to sell through "used" as a back door tool to sell new/damaged products.

I know its frustrating, even more so when genuine sellers like yourself come along. But Amazon has had many issues with this over the years

ABSOLUTELY not i encounter numerous problems. They deactivated my account thinking I am a business and no way they change that or help me change it

I sell elsewhere not just here

Yes it is a good idea to try listing numerous types of books

It is to a degree time and trust

Consider looking for other markets who will be happy with your books others don't want while you try out actually selling here

Good Luck

Probably a silly question, but did you choose 'used' when going through the motions of applying to list?

it is absurd that Amazon asks for invoices for used books...

Dont waste your time sell on the other place or send to a charity shop
