I have a good problem - Switch FBA to FBM then back to FBA?
I have a product that I have sent in replenishments for but they are in FC transferring. The sales are skyrocketing right now and I dont want to lose momentum while I wait for processing to finish.
Can I temporarily switch this product to FBM (I have plenty of product available for FBM) but then once the products become available for FBA, switch it back to FBA?
It looks like I can, but I dont want to cause unexpected complications with a listing.

There is no need to 'switch' anything at all.
There are numerous sellers that have listings for BOTH FBA and FBM at the same time. That way they can capture business from all those buyers that REFUSE to buy from AMAZON but want to support other businesses on here.
Go in and create an FBM listing by clicking on "add another condition' and then click on "I will ship this item myself" to create that option.
Be 100% certain to set a shipping template that covers the costs!

Why not just create a second SKU with the same ASIN so that you have an FBA offering and an MF offering. This is what many brand owners do, in part just for this reason.

As a general rule we start every sku with FBA_ or FBM_ to help track. Not really necessary unless you have a lot of sku's and like to sort reports.

Just create another listing use different product sku one for FBM other for FBA when convenient, you have both
