Read onlyI'm getting nowhere with Seller Support (Live Chat & Phone), made a ticket asking for escalation, E-Mailed CEO's office and got a pretty rude reply, I'm at a total loss as to what to do. I have lost the buy box for ALL of my key products and best sellers, I am the brand owner, I am the only offer.
I am stunned at how little support there is from Amazon, I knew it was bad but I had no idea it was THIS BAD. Absolutely no transparency what-so-ever, nothing on performance notifications, account health is perfect, no violations, I am enrolled on the new Account Health Assurance scheme (which gave me peace of mind for all of 3 days).
With the CEO's office giving me the cold shoulder, seller support sending me links to 'Seller University', spending in excess of 10 hours trying almost everything on my account blindly, I'm at a complete loss sitting here with next to no sales. So my last resort is this... a mega thread... I'm hoping with enough people complaining about the issue, Amazon MAY acknowledge this problem as a bug/glitch before I have to file for bankruptcy (no exaggeration) and when they do, I also expect no apology or compensation.

In relation to your featured offer issue I can confirm this has been reviewed by our technical team who confirmed the fix as the override has been granted,
All your listings should be now eligible for the featured offer / buy box privileges,
I would recommend anyone who sees this please email CEO's office managingdirector @ amazon (.co.uk) for a quicker resolution until there's a permanent fix in place!

I agree that it is ridiculous and the automated case responses are incredibly frustrating,

This is severely damaging to small businesses such as my own.
We pay thousands upon thousands to Amazon in fees, professional seller plans, ppc all for a poorly implemented system to come along effectively making your best selling products invisible

Some positive news today, my ASIN has had its Featured Buy Box returned after 5 days of it being removed. This is the email I received from Selling Partner Support Executive.
"Dear Selling Partner,
Greetings from Amazon Selling Partner Support Executive Escalation Department.
I understand your query is regarding winning the Buy-Box towards ASIN XXXXXXX.
We are pleased to inform you that Buy-Box has already been granted to the above-mentioned ASIN, which you can confirm through the below link:"
I'm not sure if I'm just lucky, but here are the steps I took anyway in case it helps other people currently suffering
1) Contact SS and tell them the Featured Buy Box is missing. They will likely fob you off with links and tell you that they can't help further. You need to get a Case ID for the next step.
2) Email managingdirector@amazon.co.uk and explain the issue, you must have the Case ID or else they too will dismiss your email. In my case my ASIIN had recently suffered slightly worse performance than previously, so I did apologise and told them I have increased PPC ad spend and decreased the price (not sure if this is relevant to everyone, I am doing PL FBA).
That's it. I hope everyone gets their ASINS sorted quickly. It's certainly made me think if I didn't know this already that Amazon can take away all your business at a whim. I shall be diversifying away to other platforms as well in future if possible.

Having the same problem with 90% of my ASINs
on the 27th i just lost all featured offer eligibility for no reason even with me being the only seller.

My listings have returned to normal, totaling 10. It seems that other sellers have also regained their buy box privileges. It appears that this was a bug, but we cannot let it slide. We have all suffered losses in sales, profit, and sales rank. In just the past two months, we have invested 10k in Amazon ads for the affected listings. We all need to come together and hold them accountable. I propose creating a thread on Reddit so we can all discuss this without being silenced by this forum. We need to take this to court or the Office of Fair Trading for compensation.
