Review Violating Community Standards
Hi everyone,
I'm a new seller and was looking for some guidance on product reviews.
One of my Vine reviewers left a 2 star feedback for my product based on, amongst other things, that the product was delivered 1 month late. My understanding is that such reviews are not allowed if fulfilment is done by Amazon?
The same review also states that we “went to great lengths to hide that the product is made in China.” This seems to be a speculative and potentially misleading claim about our intent. We’ve provided full transparency regarding the product’s origin, both on the Amazon listing (where possible) and physically on the product’s label.
As a small brand just starting out—with only 6 reviews so far—this one has significantly impacted our overall rating and visibility.
I’ve reported the review via both Seller Central and the “Report Abuse” link, but haven’t received any acknowledgment or case reference from Amazon.
Has anyone else dealt with a similar issue? Is there anything further I can do to have this reviewed more seriously?
Thanks so much for your time and any advice you can share!

If you had read the forum before you would have known that Vine reviewers are very critical and that the seller has to be prepared to see 1 and 2 stars. We read this regularly.
If you are brand registered you are allowed to contact the reviewer regarding this review. But you are NOT allowed to suggest changing his review. So, if you can explain some things MAYBE she will put one star more.
Why? Where do you see an abuse? Be careful with this. Amazon can suspend your account for falsely claiming an abuse.
So your answer in short: Amazon will NOT remove these reviews. If you are lucky, the customer will slightly change it if your arguments are convincing. In case you get a second bad vine review ask seller support if you can stop the enrollement (I don't know).

Hi there @Seller_sGhP83PNZXebD,
In general Amazon has specific policies regarding Customer Reviews and what is likely to be removed. You can review the list in the Customer Reviews help page. Customer Product reviews reflect their specific experience so Amazon will only remove them if they are specifically abusive and violating the policy. You can report reviews via the report button next to the review:
Please note however I cannot guarantee that this review is eligible for removal. Thank you for your understanding.
