High Order Defect rate
Hello,
I normally sell through FBA but last month I sold few units on MFN where one order was delayed and my ODR went above the target. Amazon notified me that my account is at risk of deactivation.
My questions are;
After how long amazon deactivate the account once it gives warning (it’s the first warning to me)?
Can I get back my account if it is deactivated? How?
I am no more selling on MFN, will this high ODR be a problem for me in future?
Thank you

I would suggest you put some more items FBM to try and dilute the % you are over. A first warning won’t normally result in deactivation but it would be better to try and reduce it

unlikely you will be deactivated for 1 problem but this is amazon so who knows but you musnt get any more or you will be deactivated the violation will drop off after 60 days and will not be a problem for you in the future once it does
if they do deactivate you then you can get your account back with a poa come back to the forum if this happens for advice

Hello @Subtle_Karak,
I understand from your post that you are concerned over the Order defect rate (ODR) which went above the threshold of 1% and you need recommendation from us to safeguard your account from getting deactivated.
Instead of worrying about how much time you have, I recommend that you focus on understanding the defect you’ve received and find a remedy so that you don’t have any more in the future.
Yes, you can get back your account privilege if it’s deactivated with a valid Plan of Action (POA).
If the same thing happens with any other orders, that could be a problem. Since you’re not using MFN (Merchant Fulfillment Network), there is no guarantee that it will not rise. Regardless of whether or not you use MFN, any negative feedback you receive will increase the ODR
Please refer to the time window for the ODR in your Account health dashboard; if your order falls within the window, the defect will be counted; if it does not, it will be recalculated.
Good Luck,
Dhoni
