I'm looking for feedback on the best way to handle this, and is there a way to report this customer so he doesn't scam other sellers?

I sell a small ~$170 tool for testing very low voltage (5V and under), it runs on a 9V battery, is fire retardant and basically intrinsically safe. The only way someone could get hurt with it is if you threw it at them. This morning I get the message below from a customer. Clearly this is a copy/paste generic message and the customer just wants a free product. I would like to report this customer to Amazon so he doesn't scam other people, but I have zero faith that Amazon would understand anything technical and it would likely backfire on me. Has anyone dealt with a customer like this before? Here's his message:

"Hello,

I am contacting you regarding this product, which has caused an extremely serious safety concern during use. I will not disclose specific details publicly nor provide any photos or videos.

This is a formal notice that your product jeopardized consumer safety, and I am demanding an immediate, full refund.

If you refuse or delay, I will file a full A-to-Z claim, submit a product safety violation report to Amazon, and escalate to consumer protection authorities in both the US and UK.

You are hereby advised to refund this purchase immediately without conditions.

I am giving you one single opportunity to resolve this properly.

Thank you."

Hi fellow sellers,

I’m reaching out to the community for advice and support regarding a troubling situation we’re facing.

One of our competitors recently filed a copyright infringement complaint against one of our listings, alleging that we used their product photos without authorization. As a result, Amazon removed our listing. The problem is—the photos in question were taken and created by us originally, and we hold full rights to them.

We believe this competitor may have copied our images from our own listing or website and then uploaded them to their own site, possibly to create a false trail and claim ownership. They are now weaponizing this tactic to eliminate competition, which is not only unethical but completely dishonest.

We are in the process of submitting a counter notice to Amazon, along with supporting documentation showing that we are the rightful owners of the images, including original image files with metadata and timestamps. However, the reinstatement process is slow, and the takedown has already hurt our sales.

1. Has anyone here dealt with similar situations?

2. What else can we do to expedite the process with Amazon?

3. Is there any additional documentation or action you recommend submitting?

4. Are there any internal Amazon teams or escalation paths that can handle abuse of IP claims more effectively?

We’re a small U.S. business trying to compete fairly, and it’s frustrating to see tactics like this used to game the system.

Inventory is Reserved over months, Need help

​​Here’s what’s going on:​​

Within a week of launching a product, all inventory of that ASIN suddenly went into "reserve" status. No performance notifications, no warning emails—nothing.

I opened Case ID ​​#17709141601​​ with Seller Support, but they couldn’t pinpoint the cause. They said they’d "reach out to the FBA team" and asked me to wait. ​​It’s now been 6 weeks​​, and every "update" is just an auto-reply thanking me for my patience—zero real progress.

​​Here’s where it gets weirder:​​ Out of nowhere, I get an email from ​​UK Seller Support​​ (Case ID #11172370942) claiming: "On behalf of Fulfillment Center EDI4, where we have that product: The listing needs a title update in the UK marketplace."

​​I’m totally baffled because:​ I’ve ​​never sent ANY inventory to the UK​​, and Every reply to this UK case just loops back with the same copy-pasted message.

Plz MODs, I need your assistance, to fix out at least why my inventory stuck in reserved

Hello,

Recently I have sold quite a few expensive items through amazon FBA, and I had my return settings set to return to me. However, I got a return through amazon (that I was unaware of since I didn't receive any notification) and today when I got the notification, the item is UNFULFILLABLE - Immediate donation. This single item is worth the profit of 5 of my other products.

Amazon selling has been great for me in the past and I would hope to keep this relationship, could someone please let me know what I could do? I do plan on selling through FBA in the future

Unable to list product for approved brand

I am trying to list product with my brand but I am unable to list. Upon listing it keeps giving me 5461 error.

I have got approval for my brand. For the first time when I tried to list it asked me for approval so I applied and I got approved (Case# 17884290851). After approval I went in and tried to finish my listing it again asked me for approval so I reapplied and again got approved (Case# 17898793581)

Now I am going in from View Selling Applications and from there I click on list product button. When I try to create product it again asks me to apply for brand approval. I contacted support they asked me to re-apply. I did re-apply and now it is getting rejected due to duplicate application. Can one of the amazon moderator take a look at it? (#17905005271, #17905136521, #17906030301 - These are all declined ones cases)
