There is a seller in our category who has recently gone crazy. He has created thousands of Amazon accounts and then launched a fierce attack on all other sellers in the industry. Everyone knows who he is, but due to the covert nature of the operation, no effective evidence can be provided. I am a novice and have been working on Amazon for less than a year. He attacks me as long as I have been doing it.
I have submitted dozens of complaints through the backend, but this does not fundamentally solve the problem. Due to helplessness, I am posting here seeking help and requesting the official senior team to intervene and conduct a real large-scale investigation into our category. The investigation is also very simple. Look at which stores' products have never been attacked like this, and then he must be the culprit.
First of all, let's talk about the saddest outcome. My peers keep buying a large number of my products through their own buyer accounts, and then set up undeliverable addresses. These orders will be automatically refunded (refund reason: Shipping Address Unpublishable or Unpleasable To Deliver), but they will leave a 1-star negative review after making the purchase. A large number of ASINs in my store have been left with high return rate labels. After this operation, Amazon's policy will say that there is a problem with my inventory, and they will remove multiple ASINs of mine and initiate an investigation to prove that they have no problem. I keep receiving performance notifications and proofs, it's really exhausting.
At the same time, due to my peers constantly manipulating my inventory, the Amazon performance team has repeatedly accused me of brushing orders or manipulating reviews. In just a few months, I have received two 72 hour store closure attacks. The first time, I put in a lot of effort to appeal and pass, but the second time, no matter how hard I tried, the official team immediately refused. In the end, I had no choice but to admit and let the store continue to use.
A large number of refunds resulted in my product being damaged. Not only did I lose a significant amount of refund costs and order removal costs, but I also suffered huge losses after my product was damaged.
This is very sad. I am a very weak seller, and my competitors keep attacking me. Amazon's series of original and just rules not only failed to protect me, but also punished me continuously due to their attacks.
These are actually vulnerabilities of the platform, which were clearly exploited by this company. He is not just attacking me, but all the sellers in the industry. Sadly, no one was able to resist effectively, and what's even sadder is that he survived unscathed to this day, becoming even more brazen.
He has a total of 7 brand stores on Amazon, and his goal is to eliminate all competitors and achieve category monopoly. If the official team does not take action, I estimate that he will soon achieve his goal in a few months.
What can I do? My only weapon is to file complaints through the Amazon backend. I can only keep complaining through the backend. I am very grateful for the generous help of the official performance team, who can also help delete some negative reviews after review. However, competitors keep buying and receiving negative reviews, so I can only keep complaining. This process has also brought tremendous pressure to the work of the official performance team, and I sincerely hope to fundamentally solve this problem.
I would like to reiterate that my colleague has thousands of buyer accounts, all of which use undeliverable addresses and leave a 1-star negative review after making a purchase. Except for his own 7 stores that are not attacked, he will use this scheme for all other stores. Therefore, if the official team wants to investigate, it is easy to investigate, and I am willing to provide all possible assistance.
In addition, I really hope that the review policy can be improved. I don't understand why orders that haven't been received yet can be reviewed. Competitors always do this, commenting after buying, which is obviously a loophole in the system.
If you think this very despicable company only uses negative reviews as a solution to attack, then you underestimate him. Their company has thousands of people in total, and they have a dedicated attack department with dozens of people. Their daily task is to attack! Attack! Attack!
Unfortunately, they are getting bigger and bigger, while we are on the brink of bankruptcy. They also have a hacking method, which is account theft, because many customers send messages saying that 1-star reviews are not left by them, and the products are not purchased by them. I think this also poses an increased threat to the security of the Amazon platform.
This gang of black and evil forces is getting bigger and bigger, shattering the dreams of Amazon entrepreneurs one by one. I just counted and since November last year, I have submitted a total of 10 complaints through the backend. I still need to submit them later because there have been a bunch of negative reviews.
I don't know if this post can attract the attention of Amazon's senior team, but I don't have any other options.
