VCS VAT Reports ignoring API "Ship From" address?
by Seller_sI89cvvga0Ym3

Hey guys,

Running into a weird issue with EU FBM orders and the VCS VAT Report.

Even though we’re sending the correct Ship From address via API for each order (e.g., shipping from Italy or Spain), the VCS report just ignores it and pulls our default German address from the account settings instead.

The weird part?

Seller Central Frontend: Shows the correct API address.

Order Reports: Shows the correct "Actual Ship From" address.

VCS VAT Report: WRONG. It’s stuck on the default Germany address.

We need the VAT report to show the actual origin for tax reasons. Has anyone found a way to force the VCS report to sync with the API data, or is this just a known Amazon bug?

Cheers.

Has anyone had this issue. I created a new listing in Amazon with two variations. The two variations have a unique SKU and obviously a unique ASIN. When my warehouse attempt to update the inventory levels using the SP API, the stock levels do not show up in Amazon. I've tried using the SKU and the ASIN in the "sku": field on the JSON file, but neither works. It just stays at one. The code being used is the same format as the other listings we have where the stock levels are current and updating fine.

Hi @Seller_TJJAaLJ9LpMCz,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand that you are already using the correct SKU for each variation, but the inventory is still not updating as expected.

Since the same API code works for your other listings, this may be related to how the new variation listing has been set up in Amazon's system. I recommend contacting Seller Support directly with the affected SKU(s) and a sample of your API request, as they will be able to investigate the listing structure on their end.

If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Best,

Kai

Sunday Delivery
by Seller_WDBlM63N2MqW9

All my bookings are booked via the buy shipping portal so under their own policy it shopuldnt be counted!

Thbis is taken from their own OTDR pages

OTDR exemptions

Orders will have no negative effect on your OTDR when fulfilled using all three of Amazon’s automation tools:

1. Shipping Settings Automation (SSA) enabled on shipping templates

2. Automated Handling Time (AHT) enabled on your account OR a 0–1-day default handling time enabled

3. Buy shipping labels through Manage Orders or Shipping API, or select multi-channel integrators with access to Buy Shipping.

All these orders that have been effected were purchsed via pouint 3 the buy shipping API so do not count against the OTDR

Royal Mail are lying to you. In the first place, it has nothing to do with the law, so it can't be illegal. Secondly, their own systems manifest for you automatically. In fact, if their API didn't allow manifesting on non-postal days, then it wouldn't be possible to manifest then at all.

GPSR add EU responsible person
by Seller_JZMeNe7nDDuIk
Amazon replied

Hi there,

in general we are listing via API through a third party tool. Some details, however, need to be added in Amazon directly first.

Can someone explain to me how to add information about EU responsible person? Is there a way to bulk upload via CSV or similar? It would be great if someone could guide me through.

Thanks.

Hi there @Seller_DqqqhEtkdbbrZ,

Thank you for reaching out with your concerns with your difficulties with the API. If you are the developer using the API you can reach out to Developer Support to review what might be going on with the API. If you are not the developer, I would recommend you reach out to them to troubleshoot the API via their developer account. If you have any further questions to ask or wish to provide further details of your experience feel free to do so here.

Hi all,

I'm spending my weekends manually checking supplier lists (EAN/Cost) line-by-line. It feels incredibly inefficient.

I’ve been looking for a dedicated tool that simply takes a CSV file and automates the entire analysis (checking profitability, fees, restrictions via the API). Does this technology actually exist for us sellers, or is it just a myth?

I’m not looking for a complex all-in-one suite, just something that handles the bulk analysis. Has anyone actually seen a tool that does this effectively? Cheers.
