Effective March 20, 2026, we’ll update how the digital services fee is applied to sales in our France, Italy and Spain stores for sellers who are established outside of these countries.

The digital services fee accounts for government digital services taxes (DST) and is applied as a percentage increase on your Selling on Amazon fees and Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) fees. As we continue to better align our fee rates to our underlying costs, we will apply the digital services fee based on the DST rate in the country of sale.

Starting March 20, the following changes will take effect:

  • If you’re established in the UK, a 3% digital services fee will apply on Selling on Amazon and FBA fees for sales in our France, Italy and Spain stores.
  • If you’re established in Italy or Spain, a 3% digital services fee will apply on Selling on Amazon and FBA fees for sales in our UK and France stores.
  • If you’re established in any other country, a 3% digital services fee will apply on Selling on Amazon fees for sales in our Italy, Spain and France stores. A 3% fee will also apply on FBA fees for sales in our France store.

To understand how this fee will affect your business, including rates by store and fee examples, go to 2026 digital services fee changes.

Starting March 20, you’ll be able to view the digital services fee in the Revenue Calculator.

Been selling on Amazon for over 20 years
by Seller_lncJ33ORWEySW

Has Amazon gone mad or what ?

Just received this email 20 years too late

Prepare for your first Self Ship order

Dear Selling Partner,

We would like to welcome you aboard Amazon Self Ship!

In order to get started on Self Ship, we strongly recommend learning how to monitor, pack and ship your Self Ship orders. Please click here to watch a brief video tutorial on Self Ship order processing or follow the steps mentioned below.

1) Monitor Orders:

Log in to your Seller Central account and go to the “Manage Orders” page. Click the “Unshipped orders” tab to view your Self Ship orders.

We recommend using the filters on the left side of the Manage orders page to prioritize orders which need to be shipped first. Use the “Ship by today” filter as highlighted in the image below to filter orders with today’s Estimated Ship Date (ESD).

2) Print the packing slip:

Click “Print order packing slip” next to the order number at the top of the page.

3) Pack and Ship order:

Pack your order, paste the packing slip on the package and ship out the order by Estimated Ship Date using any of the 3P carriers listed by Amazon.

4) Confirm shipment:

Click “Confirm shipment” at the bottom of the Order Detail page and enter the shipping details, including the tracking ID. After confirmation, we’ll charge the buyer, notify them that the order has shipped and transfer the order payment to your Seller account.

Hi everyone

I used Amazon SEND with UPS to ship a small parcel from the UK to the US (paw balm). The expected customs charge was around $20, but Amazon suddenly charged me $898 for “customs/brokerage” with no invoice or explanation.Has anyone else had Amazon charge such a high amount for SEND international shipments? How did you get this resolved?

Thanks!

There was a shipment delivered on November 20, 2025 and no registration has been made. The shipment was created more than 90 days ago, so its status has changed to "completed". During this time, we contacted Amazon repeatedly, and they told us to wait, citing slow delivery during peak periods.

We have now contacted the relevant team to investigate, and the response we received is that the delivery certificate only confirms that the carrier made the delivery at our fulfillment center, and does not confirm that the goods and quantities received by Amazon are consistent with the exact goods and quantities stated in your inbound plan. We have rejected your claim for compensation for the following goods because we have not received all the expected quantities as per your inbound plan.

In a previous case record, a reply stated that the shipment was indeed scheduled for warehousing based on the code, and the delivery receipt also had a warehouse signature. However, not a single box or product was scanned. What was signed for?

We recently listed Biotin Gummies on Amazon UK, but the listings have been made inactive. We received the following notification:

"In order to sell this product on the Amazon marketplace, you must provide documents related to Food supplements. Failure to provide these documentations by 20 Jan 2026 may result in suppression of this ASIN from the Amazon website."

Amazon also requested detailed ingredient information. We submitted the full ingredient details, but it has now been around 20 days and the information is still under review with no update.

Regarding the compliance documents, we submitted certificates provided by our third-party manufacturer, including the HACCP certificate and GMP certificate. Despite this, the documents keep getting rejected without a clear explanation of what is missing or incorrect.

We’ve opened multiple cases with Seller Support but haven’t received any clear guidance or resolution so far.

Has anyone here dealt with a similar issue for food supplements on Amazon UK? If yes, what specific documents were accepted in your case, and how did you manage to get it resolved?

Bestseller down for 20 days, 100k lost so far :(
by Seller_QC2LKMEEbrTFq
Amazon replied

Dear ops, can someone here help with ticket 11687770352 ?

Our seasonal bestseller is down, or more precisely - the inventory is "reserved" due to some system error, and we have lost 100,000 EUR so far during peak season.

We have a multivariation listing with 3 different weights of the product - 1kg, 2kg and 3kg. 2kg and 3kg is fine, but 1kg was put into "reserved" and it seems it's too complicated for someone to come to the conclusion that is should not be blocked.

Please can someone escalate this, support on Amazon kills every business and you can no longer speak to a human that can help. What a disaster.

Hi all,

We’re having ongoing issues with VTR being impacted despite following Amazon’s own exemptions guidance. According to the policy:

“All cross-border shipments will be included in VTR calculation, unless the order value is below €20 (including shipping, excluding VAT) and a ‘letter’ ship method was used.”

We ship from the UK to Europe, and for several of our recent orders:

1. The order value is well under €20 (see attached screenshot),

2. We correctly marked the ship method as “letter”,

3. We used Royal Mail (standard letter services),

4. The tracking shows as Invalid, as these are non-tracked letter shipments.

Still, these orders are showing up in the affected VTR list and are hurting our account metrics.

Can someone please clarify.

What are we doing wrong?

Does Amazon still not fully recognise Royal Mail “letter” format as exempt, even when value is below €20?

Is this an issue others are experiencing too?

Attached is a screenshot showing the affected orders with values of €11.65, €14.06, and €18.05, all shipped as “letter” with Royal Mail.

Any insight or help would be really appreciated.

Hi Amazon Seller Community,

I’m reaching out urgently because I’ve completely lost the Buy Box on all of my listings for the past 3 days, and my sales have plummeted from around 250 orders per day to just 20. This sudden drop is severely impacting my business.

Here’s what I’ve confirmed about my account and listings:

My price is the lowest (including shipping)

Account Health is strong – 96% positive feedback

I’m enrolled in Seller-Fulfilled Prime (SFP) and displaying the Prime badge

Consistently meet SFP performance requirements (on-time shipping, delivery speed, low cancellation rate, etc.)

Despite all this, I’m not winning the Buy Box anywhere. I’ve checked for listing errors, inventory issues, or policy violations—but haven’t found anything obvious.

Has anyone else experienced this sudden, across-the-board Buy Box loss? Could it be a temporary algorithm shift, a hidden performance metric, or increased FBA competition? Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks so much in advance—this is critical for my business right now.
