DD + 7 March 2026
by Seller_bK8sM12AW9CFt
Amazon replied

Good morning all Amazon Sellers!

We are fortunate that we have had Grandad rights after selling for many many years on Amazon and have not had the dreaded DD+7 disbursement applied until now.

I appreciate we are lucky we have had this and the majority of sellers are already on DD+7 but for those who aren't have they had any success at least delaying this as cash flow will be greatly affected by this change?

DD+7 starts this week
by Seller_gqP3LQPw6KysS
Amazon replied

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience with DD+7 on untracked items? We mostly use Amazon Buy Shipping for 1st and 2nd Class. It says 'estimated delivery date + 7 days'. So for 2nd class would this be roughly a 2 week wait for money to go into available funds or possibly a bit longer?

The only reason I'm asking is I've read some people have waited a number of weeks for it to be available. We're good for around 4 weeks wait before cashflow becomes a problem.

Cheers, Dan

DD +7 for Dummies
by Seller_AlYpsVHv0gj21

Apologies for starting another thread on this subject.

As usual with Amazon I am completely annoyed and baffled.

As some sellers may know I have recently posted about the lack of sales over a 30+ day period. This lack of sales should have made it easy to follow the workings of dd+7

DD+7 appeared to kick in for me at the time my sales stopped at the beginning of March. At that time I had just £3.50 in my account. I still had not been paid the £3.50 when I suddenly had a flurry of sales in April. I still have not been paid anything. A few days ago I checked the payments page and i think what happed was that my £3.50 was taken by Anazon's fees on the new sales (naturally Amazon are first in line!!). I was now left with a debit balance which Amazon threatened to collect at the end of the payment period. Nothing has actually been taken from my bank account. I then sold a few more books. By now another payment period has passed - still no payment to me. I checked the amazon payment page and there are all sorts of number on it. No doubt an accountant would be able to follow it but I am not an accountant! Amazon make it so complicated for people like me !

The one thing I could just about understand is that I now have about £50 in deferred payments and that on 17 April amazon will be taking £1.90 from my bank account. When I might get paid anything is anyone's guess.

As I am typing this I notice there is no category covering "Payments to sellers" !!!! so I've put my post in "fulfill orders"

DD +7 and amazon ads
by Seller_x4e8JJsHAmw8S
Amazon replied

So our dd +7 kicked in a few days ago, extremely inconveniently coinciding with our Amazon ad bill and seller fee. So we're stuck with a large and ever increasing (through postage labels) negative amount and a race against time (15 th) to receive our deferred payment before Amazon charges us the negative balance, like a double-whammy kick in the teeth, rather than it being paid from our sales balance as it usually is. Thanks Amazon.

DD+7 Deferred Again
by Seller_0XWc3TbYeT9US

So we got an email at 1.33am today advising that our transfer to DD+7 has now been put back to 19th March 2026. Anyone else get this?

Are they just messing with us now? All the finance and funding we put in place to cover the next two weeks is now no longer required, I can't help but feel there are people sitting at Amazon just having a good giggle. I find it hard to believe that decision was made at 1.30 this morning, but they literally leave it until the last moment to advise.

Unbelievably amateurish. Can't say I'm surprised.

Amazon Verification - Waiting 7 months
by Seller_cxre9LkyQkDVW

Hello,

Is there anyone that could possibly help me.

I have been in a verification cycle for over 7 months. The customer care team have been pushing me onto the verification team, they verify and then nothing happens.

I cannot remove money from my account and I cannot advertise - 7 months.

It has crippled my business, and once I have the money out of my account, I aim to shut it down ASAP.

EXTENDED EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE BY 7 DAYS
by Seller_d3YtsvKgBLYhf
Amazon replied

Has anyone else experienced their expected delivery dates being extended by 6–7 days? Over the past two weeks, our sales have dropped by nearly 80%. We consistently use Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 services, but despite this, Amazon is showing much longer delivery estimates. This has significantly impacted our conversion rate. Selling FBM on Amazon is becoming increasingly challenging day by day.

DD+7 Policy for Orders with no tracking
by Seller_0XWc3TbYeT9US
Amazon replied

Humble apologies if this has been covered elsewhere!

We do, on occasion, get an order which has to go via a method which has no online tracking. High value shipments to Northern Ireland, the occasional pallet. These all tend to be +£400 orders. Amazon's system will not update to show delivery - they aren't tied into every delivery system in the world. Or maybe it's someone up the road from us so we hand deliver it, because we're nice like that.

At what point does the DD+7 system (which we are not on at present although it is due to drop on us in 2 days) decide that we can have these funds? Or will Amazon just decide to keep them forever, because Amazon.

Grateful if anyone knows, ta :)

DD +7 kicking in
by Seller_Ol3hHwr5nQZoj
Amazon replied

I wondered if anyone could give me some info if they've been on this for a while

We got put in on the weekend. Invoices and payments are going into deferred but it says that we've got about £2,500 ready to disperse at settlement end but if we go to disperse, it says zero What is this money and where does it come from?

Also we always have quite a lot of money in deferred due to business orders. Technically these have all been through DD plus seven already so we should have some money to release every day. Does it not work like this?

Hi there, I’ve been selling on Amazon for over 7 years now and had a great relationship with them. Amazon has asked for KYC documents which I provided 30 minutes after they requested them. My account is selling as normal but I’m not able to take any payments out. I’m owed 20k+ currently which I’m not able to withdraw and I’m needing to pay my staff.

Can anyone help me in this situation with speeding up the KYC process as it’s been over 7 days now.
