I received the below email from Amazon:

Your Amazon selling account will be deactivated on 24/04/2026 in accordance with Section 3 of the "Amazon Business Solutions Agreement". Funds will not be transferred to you but will stay in your account while we work with you to address this issue. Continue to ship any open orders to avoid further impact to your account.

Why is this happening?

We believe or our controls identify that your account has been used for deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity in accordance with Section 3 of the "Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement". In order to protect our customers, we verify the identity of our sellers through a virtual identity verification process on a video interview.

How will you know the results of my virtual identity verification?

After your verification interview is complete, we will review the information provided by you and respond with the outcome within 5 business days.

It's now been more than 7 Business days since I attended the verification call but still not received any update from them and my funds are on hold.

Hi everyone,

My UK account was deactivated under Section 3 on April 26, 2026. I submitted the interview request form 3 days ago but have not received the meeting link.

Original Email Content:

"Dear Seller,

Your Amazon selling account has been deactivated in accordance with Section 3 of the Business Solutions Agreement. Amazon’s Business Solutions Agreement can be found here.

Why is this happening?

We have reviewed your account and would like to confirm your identity.

How do I verify my identity?

To verify your identity, you need to complete virtual identity verification over a video interview. To reserve a time slot for the interview, fill out the form here.

After we receive your response on this form, we will invite you for the interview during one of your preferred time slots 48 hours before the interview. After your verification interview is complete, we will review the results and respond with the outcome within 5 business days.

My Questions:

How long does it usually take to receive the invitation link after submitting the form?

We sell designer clothing from brands like Armani Exchange, lyle & scott etc and have over 1500 sku all with inventory. We have now gone 3 days without a single sale.We have now turned off all ads due to it wasting money. The account is healthy.

I have opened cases with amazon saying something clearly isn't right. We have feature offer and competitive price for nearly all our listings.

ive been trying to ungate these brands for now 3 months. same supplier and ive used these guys invoice for 3 years and has worked fine until recently. This is becoming a joke. sometimes they accept it and then sometimes they really start taking their time and its causing massive annoyance. do i have to seriously take this to the managing director or something to get them to accept its a legit invoice.

Can one of the mods help my case as its becoming a joke.

It seems like amazon just wants to give sellers a tough time. It’s been 3 years of trying to deactivate my account and to date nothing seems to work. I still get the same email asking for the exact documents that I have submitted. What’s the point? Should i just close this account altogether because it’s really no use in having an account that can’t operate? Soo frustrated honestly and I don’t know what else to do. If there’s anyone who can help I would appreciate it as my aim is to continue selling however am seriously considering closing this account

Section 3 - Inauthenticity Concerns

29/01/2026 - I received a section 3 on my account regarding a Jellycat product. All units of the asin were purchased through Authorised distributors of the brand: Harrods and Fenwick (reputable UK suppliers)

Since then I’ve submitted multiple appeals with all documents required:

VATInvoices, order confirmation emails, delivery confirmation emails, tracking details showing delivery, bank statements.

Every time it gets rejected although having provided all documents necessary.

27/02/2026 - I successfully completed a video virtual interview confirming my identity and providing live documents proving supply chain authenticity of my products.

Since then I’ve contacted health support specialist an they have raised further internal reviews as it had been more than 7 days since the video interview and have got no response

14/07/2026 - no response from both internal reviews and no response from video virtual interview. Account health specialist keeps saying to wait 3-5 business days but it passes and no response occurs.

I have provided all necessary documents and more to prove supply chain and the authenticity of the product asin requested. Appeals get rejected with no reason as to why and virtual interview has got no response for 15 days.

Has anyone who’s successfully beaten a section 3 got any tips to help with the appeal?

3 Day prime delivery

Hi,

Hoping anyone could help or have any advice on here.

Since 27th Feb our store has been showing as either 3 day prime delivery or 2 day prime delivery.

Our courier Amazon shipping, failed to collect on 16/02 and 25/02 - this has obviously tripped our metrics and made them really bad, other than these two days they are totally clean in the sense of on time scanning and the delivery rate is also well above 95% however these two dates have totally ruined the overall percentages.

Because of this our sales have plummeted by 75%. I have spoken to Amazon and Amazon Shipping but have been getting nowhere for the last 2 weeks. Being told its still being investigated, the metrics will be and have been protected (no idea how they can claim they have when we are showing as 3 day delivery)

Any other FBM sellers have any similar issues or advice on how to get everything back to normal as quick as possible. Very very frustrating. Sales at an all time low and none of it is our fault.

Hello Everyone,

Im stuck in Amazon KYC process, im selling on this account as a brand from last 3 years, we're trademark and VAT registered. My business address has been updated which we updated in seller central, but now Amazon is not accepting documents for beneficiary owner, even beneficiary details are not changed and same, they asked for bank statement printed at bank branch signed and stamped, we provided and the account maintenance letter from bank signed and stamped, still they are not accepting and given us 40 days ultimatum to delete the account permanently. They are replying on emails after 3-4 days and even not telling us what properly they need. Any one pls help from Amazon
