Hi, it’s been nearly 2 years since Amazon deactivated my account due to a policy violation and I’m still appealing! I have once again just sent the original invoice and my bank statement showing the transaction. They are now saying We cannot accept this invoice because:

-- It was issued more than 365 days before 10/05/2024.

Which it was as the date I bought the items in question was march 2023. But I can’t do anything about that as that’s when it was bought!

They are saying:

Send the following information for the specified items:

Provide supplier invoices or receipts from the past 365 days and before 10/05/2024 for the specified ASINs

That is physically impossible as before 10th may 2024 is more than 365 days ago! I feel like I’ve spent 2 years speaking to a robot rather than an actual person reviewing my case

The €150 customs duty exemption is being abolished in July this year. France have already started charging an additional €2 per item on orders going into France from outside the EU. It's not entirely clear yet but we expect all other EU countries to follow suit at some point.

We didn't want to take any risks and stopped shipping to France when the €2 per item charge came into effect and adopted a watch and wait approach. Has anyone else carried on shipping to France or knows how all this is working in practice?

We have reached out to our courier DPD for advice, but so far have only received radio silence from their exports team. Our accountants are also concerned as to how all this affects IOSS and our EU VAT returns. Obviously we use the Amazon IOSS for Amazon EU orders, but we are also IOSS registered for our non-Amazon EU orders.

We used to sell 10s of 1000s of items to France every year pre Brexit, now we are lucky to get close to 1000.

*SACRCASM* It's a good job the world economy is in such a great shape we've been able to strike trade deals with the rest of the world and replace these lost orders with orders to other countries *SACRCASM*

I dont know if my constant complaining about the problems facing 2nd hand book sellers is catching up with me!!

I am only a very small seller (approx 3500 listings) with over 20 years on Amazon. Over the last year I have averaged 4-5 sales per week. With the exception of holidays I have never not sold at least one book in a week. Suddenly I have gone 2 weeks without a sale.

Has any other second hand bookseller experienced something similar recently?

From Last 2 months, Amazon verification team is playing with me. There is a technical issue from Amazon side on my account. I had to change my business address as it was updated. I changed it and submitted the required information. I made a little mistake which was i forget to add a space in my address. it was 17 ST but i wrote 17st.

My account deactivated as I failed to pass the KYC just because of this little error. From that day I'm trying to edit the address but due to technical issue from Amazon backend I'm not able to edit the address as it says the following line when i edit and click on save.

"Could not save details You have attempted to modify a value that cannot be changed right now. Please refresh the page to see the updated state"

Now from last 2 months I'm asking Amazon to fix this technical issue or manually review my documents and reinstate my account but all i got from them is a reply saying that the case is transferred to internal team and after every 6-8 days the internal team replies that the issue is resolved and when i check again, the issue is never resolved and the circle continues again.

From last 2 months the same thing is repeating again and again and I'm so tired from this thing now. From last 2 months I cannot pay my team the salaries and Amazon is deducting the account fees + the storage charges + Now long term storage every month. Now FBA team is asking me to create removal order for all of my inventory. Cool

For a few days now I have not received the verification code to my mobile (basic mobile not smart phone) by text or call.

I do receive to my 2nd choice - my wife's smart phone.

I 've check my account details & they are ok. I've not changed any recently. I've no problems with other 2 step log ons.

Ay ideas?

We have received 2 Invoices on our account for February, both for different amounts, one has our VAT number on it and the other doesn't have a VAT number on at all.

Any idea why?

Our delivery times to customers has changed from one day to 2 day shipping.

No matter if we use a SSA or non SSA template it's still the same.

We have an account review since 10/03/2026. We uploaded every document that we were requested in the process, however Amazon is still reviewing our account and paused our disbursments since 10/03/2026 (2 months).

The review process is very slow and now we are in the stage to have from the review team about a clarification every week.

We reply on the request and then wait for the review process to complete the review and then another clarification comes after a week and so on.

We are selling on Amazon for the last 15 years and this is the first time that we are facing this

Amazon help support can not help us even though we called many times.

We do not know what we can do other than temporarily close down our stores for the first time since our begining.

Lost lot of buy box due to FBA items showing as a 2/3days despite being available.

Anyone else facing this issue? We have next day/same day on lot of these items since Wednesday but seem to have lost the same day/next day on these FBa items
