Account Deactivated Due to Section 3 Issue

Can someone from Amazon please help us?

Our account was deactivated 8 weeks ago and, I assume, we cannot get it re-activated because we are unable to provide an invoice dated in the last 365 days. We have provided invoices from 2015 and 2018 together with Amazon order numbers that confirm we have sold stock volumes in line with the quantifies of the ASIN we purchased.

The Brand stopped selling this ASIN in 2023 so it is impossible to obtain an invoice in the last 365 days

The Brand National Account Manager has provided an email stating:

"I can confirm that B****** and N** Limited purchased 20 of item F2CD000b06-E from us in

September 2015 via our official Distributor, ********* (Inv number Z050551) and a further 56

units in August 2018 (Inv number DB36418)

B****** and N** Limited are approved to sell B***** stock, on Amazon in Europe, that was purchased from us or our registered

distributors.

This item was declared No Longer Available (NLA) by Belkin UK in 2023 due to our range update at

that time."

Is the problem that AI picks up on the fact the two invoices we provide do not comply with the 365 day rule?

We have worked hard over the last 12 years delivering first class customer service. Can you help / guide us so we can continue please?

Thanks in advance

Deesale

VTR Click and Drop Spain / Italy Exemptions??
by Seller_eKxfC0hfusHiG
Amazon replied

All shipments - UK to Europe Marketplaces, are under 20 Euro, using letter / large letter using RM Click and Drop, as per policy

Germany / France works fine, no problem there.

but

Spain / Italy - every single 'exempt' shipment fails VTR

Ive been told the Ship service "Std ES Dom_3" is invalid for Spain and that..

"Royal Mail Click and Drop is not a letter method"

help?? Ive tried and can not get past service/method problem

Fraudulent Drop Shipping Claims Denied SAFET
by Seller_YcmbvORudT2zm

@Seller_mIRnuhdx7l5sN

We have incurred over 1500+ fraudulent refunded claims and we are aware that hundreds of other sellers are experiencing the same issue.

A customer orders off ebay / onbuy. The seller then orders on Amazon off us and we deliver it to his customer, not known to us this is happening. Once the parcel is delivered then this seller on ebay is raising an A-Z and getting a full refund.

we have raised these cases dozens of times, but its impacting us to severe - can you help me with getting some resolution on these claims

we are out of pocket on hundreds/thousands of orders that are not being refunded as the items are classed as non returnable

ive filed 143 safe t claims in the past 30 days and only 20 have been accepted!

Hi all,

We’re having ongoing issues with VTR being impacted despite following Amazon’s own exemptions guidance. According to the policy:

“All cross-border shipments will be included in VTR calculation, unless the order value is below €20 (including shipping, excluding VAT) and a ‘letter’ ship method was used.”

We ship from the UK to Europe, and for several of our recent orders:

1. The order value is well under €20 (see attached screenshot),

2. We correctly marked the ship method as “letter”,

3. We used Royal Mail (standard letter services),

4. The tracking shows as Invalid, as these are non-tracked letter shipments.

Still, these orders are showing up in the affected VTR list and are hurting our account metrics.

Can someone please clarify.

What are we doing wrong?

Does Amazon still not fully recognise Royal Mail “letter” format as exempt, even when value is below €20?

Is this an issue others are experiencing too?

Attached is a screenshot showing the affected orders with values of €11.65, €14.06, and €18.05, all shipped as “letter” with Royal Mail.

Any insight or help would be really appreciated.

Gerry, which carrier are you using for your orders below 20 Euros to France, DE, IT etc?

We are using Royal Mail DW1 & DG4, on friday we started uploading the customs codes (basic barcodes on labels) that are in the same format as tracking numbers. We read that this creates a scanning event upon export from the UK. We use linnworks and spotted in their guidance notes there is a facility to export this in the tracking number field.

Seller Health team confirmed that parcels under 20 Euros dont need to be sent tracked as per policy. Raised a case and was told the example orders shown on our defect report were exempt as didnt appear as fails???!!!! It would appear that not even Amazon seller support know what is happening with VTR fails on orders under 20 Euros.

Have you made any progress?

Amazon doesn't know its own policies. Today, we and other sellers received VTR warning emails in France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.

The policy clearly states 'You must maintain a 95% VTR for the following seller-fulfilled shipments:

Cross-border shipments above €20: Shipments to and from the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Austria, or Sweden that have an order value above €20 (including shipping charges, excluding VAT).

Today received warning emails for all categories for invalid tracking on orders below €20 Euros. It's madness with Seller Performance not understanding Amazon's own policies. We have raised this with seller support twice this year to get standard replies stating the policy above.

Why are Amazon not measuring cross-border VTR to their own policies on orders under €20?

Agreed that moving to fully tracked will not work. We use linnworks and are goign to try sharing 2D barcode numbers into the tracking field to see if this works and ticks the box that Amazon seem to think is needed for untracked orders under 20 Euros

It states it in your notice and yes you have to supply all of it.

You need invoices that match the units in the last 365 on the asins they are querying, they will understand that they may not be spot on if you sell in other marketplaces but they will have to at least cover what you have sent in or sold. You can't have sold 20 units but only ordered 10 for example. It does state "or authorzation " but they want anything that can substantiate they have been purchased through a valid supply chain and they are happy for you to be their supplier.

It then states they want a copy of your supplier details, if this is on your authorization letter then of course this will suffice but nothing wrong with extracting the information and supplying that in your response note.

I am assuming you are not the brand owner so just verify this in your notes and ensure you have everything you need from the brand owner or supplier..

Alibaba themselves are not a supplier, they connect you with suppliers. You have to be extremely careful with using alibaba as you may get away with supplying generic items but the branded stuff needs to have authroisation directly from the brand owners or the supply source. There are many sellers who supply from alibaba but are supposed to sell to the end user, much of it is not for redistribution and I guess this is what Amazon is concerning itself with.

Changing from a business to self employed
by Seller_s0q4eT0IHyb5N

Sorry, I do have a separate bank account for the business - but it's just not an actual "business" account (i.e, where its in the name of the business). Its just an account with my name, but kept separate for business income/expenses . I certainly did learn the hard way about having seperate accounts 20+ years ago when I set up my company =)
