So, I sold a valuable Lego Set on Amazon in Mid August through FBA, which the seller returned to Amazon 4 days later. It left Amazon as Brand New and was returned as Used - Poor (unsellable). A return request was made to return the item to me, which Amazon cancelled nearly a month later and I had to raise a new Return Request. The item I finally received back yesterday was missing all the mini-figures, the sticker sheet and, out of the 24 bags that were originally in the set, only 16 were returned and most of those have been opened, anything of any value removed and then heat sealed back up. In all, about £500.00 worth of parts have been removed.

Obviously, I have raised a complaint with Amazon but, get this, since the item was sold, Amazon have decided they no longer sell the set and removed it from their website on 16/09/25 - about a month after the item was purchased and returned to them and whilst awaiting return of the item under the original return request. So now I am being told that, because the item is not allowed to be sold on their site, they are unable to process reimbursements as it is a prohibited item!

I'm not sure why they suddenly decided the set couldn't be sold on their site but apparetly it was due to safety and/or non-compliance issues - it's a Lego set so I'm sure it shouldn't have any issues anyway - but that's beside the point as this was decided nearly a month after the item was sold on their site!

This basically means the buyer can continue to rip of vendors on Amazon and Amazon can't be bothered to even look into this or even look to see whether the buyer has repeatedly ordered expensive Lego sets and then returned then a few days later as "damaged".

I'd appreciate anyone else who have had similar issues to this letting me know if anything was ever resolved.

Delivery extensions set by Amazon
by Seller_Fg2fqaWOnEtha
Amazon replied

I am on a painful chat with Seller Support (they are who seem to be talking to several people therefore I had to wait a good 5 minutes for any answer) who say that you have to have 100% not to have any extensions. Obviously with all these extensions I lose lots of buy boxes. Customer service told me to continue like I do and one day I will be rewarded, but they can't disappoint customers. If someone buys something from me today, they will probably get it on Saturday or Monday but Amazon tells them Thursday next week at the earliest. My performance is improving but my padding is getting worse.

Is that correct?

Hello Seller Community,

I am experiencing a serious issue and wanted to share in case others are affected too.

The Problem:

Amazon has set a Competitive Price Threshold of £1.85 on my listing (ASIN: B0B5CG3FVS). This has caused me to lose the Featured Offer/Buy Box entirely.

However this threshold is impossible because:

Amazon FBA fee for this ASIN = £1.70

Referral fee = approximately £0.15

Total fees already exceed £1.85

No seller can physically fulfil at this price

Amazon also automatically changed my listing price to £1.85 without my permission, causing financial loss on every sale.

What I have tried:

Opened multiple support cases — all closed with generic replies

Manually restored price to £4.49

Set minimum price

Requested escalation to Pricing Team

This appears to be a systemic platform error affecting multiple UK sellers.

Has anyone found a successful resolution? I would also appreciate if an Amazon moderator could look into this.

Case numbers: 12619532192, 12619413652, 12606781172, 12567467612, 12551132592,

@Amazon_Tatiana @Amazon_Danika @Amazon_Jamie — could a moderator please review this case?

Thank you

I have noticed similar threads from:

wanlin24 — same issue, March 2026

Zihuarui_Trading_830 — same issue, April 2026

caimeng_eu — competitive threshold below FBA fees

Bloomy_Dream — Buy Box lost due to price matching

This appears to be a systemic platform error affecting multiple UK sellers.

Has anyone found a successful resolution? I would also appreciate if an Amazon moderator could look into this.

Hi! I have been struggling for years to set a store up. I am just a single individual, selling to raise money for a Charitable Incorperated Organisation in the UK. This is where is becomes a nightmare. If I try to register as the charity it asks for a load of things we do not have in the UK as a CIO. If I register just on an individual account and as a sole proprieter is still asks for all the following, none of which are relevant or exist in the UK in my situation:

Business name, used to register with your state or federal government

Company Registration Number

Registration Extract

Registered business address

As an individual person, how can i answer these questions?

I have encountered Error Codes 8572 and 8566 while trying to set up a single product on Amazon UK Seller Central.

The barcodes I am using were purchased from the official GS1 website on 16 March 2026 (over 3 weeks), so they are valid and registered.

Currently, I do not have a registered brand. I selected “Generic” (No Brand), but this results in the above error codes. I also tried using my company name as it appears in the GS1 database as the brand name, but this did not resolve the issue, still got the same error codes.

At this stage, I intend to list the product without a brand and may register one in the future if the product performs well.

Could you please advise how I can proceed?

Something has changed.

Previously an order despatched on a Saturday would promise delivery for Monday

(Mainly as RoyalMail dont promise to delivery on a Sunday for Tracked24 sent on a Saturday)

But it now states Sunday delivery for Saturday despatches.

can anyone point me to where the setting is to remove Sunday as a delivery promise day?
