'Copy Listing' isn't copying all details
by Seller_540qgZMXuuXdD
Amazon replied

When I copy a listing, some of the details still need to be added.

Brand Name, External Product ID, Quantity, Price and Images still all need to be added. In regards to the images, they show up, but when saving the listing they disappear, so images all need adding each time even though I only want to change the main image.

It really slows me down. Does anyone else have this issue, or a solution?

Thanks

Hello,

As requested by @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse I'm starting a new thread to address this issue (again)

Case Number 13033454292

Seller Support's reply to the question

I am unable to list ISBN 0356521834 because the system requires me to load an invoice for 10 new books, but I only have 1 used book. I tried using the Add a Product tool but was unable to proceed due to this requirement.

ASIN: 0356521834

SKU: BCA100019999

can they help?

... is that I must provide said invoice or I cannot list this book for sale.

This ignores the fact that my copy is USED and I only have 1, but it is legally owned by me and I am a seller in good standing.

This also ignores the fact that other Sellers are offering this book for sale who do not have 10+ copies, nor are their copies NEW

Can anyone at Amazon help resolve this situation?

Brian

Hello,

We have received your latest notification stating that Amazon has not received our payment and that our 1,732 units of inventory will be disposed of in 5 days.

However, I made the full requested payment and previously emailed proof of payment to the address provided. The payment was made using the reference Amazon provided to me at the time.

We are also confused by the latest email stating that we now owe Amazon more money. I had already been instructed to pay a specific amount, which I paid in full, so I do not understand where this new amount has come from.

We have sent multiple support requests to Amazon, but nobody is properly responding to us. We only receive generic automated responses, and when we email the addresses we have been given, we receive no response at all.

Our money is now stuck, our inventory is at risk of being disposed of, and Amazon is not helping us resolve the issue or answering our questions.

We would really appreciate some help or advice on how we can get this resolved.

A-to-Z Appeals Made Simple
by Seller_FJwyF3iu5qxUY
Amazon replied

Hello Sellers,

Receiving an A-to-Z claim can feel frustrating, but understanding the appeal process can help you protect your account health and potentially reverse unfavorable decisions. Let's walk through everything you need to know about appealing these claims effectively.

🔍What Is an A-to-Z Claim?

The A-to-Z Guarantee protects customers when they experience issues with Marketplace orders whether it's a delivery problem or an item condition issue. If a customer doesn't receive a resolution after contacting you and waiting 48 hours, they can file a claim with Amazon. Once filed, claims are either auto-granted or manually reviewed by Amazon's investigation team.

⏰Understanding Your Appeal Window

You have 30 calendar days to submit an appeal after a claim is granted in your favour and your account is debited. This is your opportunity to provide new information that could dispute the decision and potentially reverse the claim.

📝 How to Appeal: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Access Your Claims

  • Go to the Performance menu in Seller Central
  • Select "A-to-z Guarantee Claims"
  • Click on the "Option to Appeal" tab

Step 2: Locate Your Claim

  • Find the relevant claim you want to appeal
  • Select "Appeal decision"

Step 3: Build Your Case, enter your comments in the text box with any information that helps Amazon understand why the claim should be reversed. Focus on providing:

  • For delivery-related claims: Dispatch method, proof of delivery from your carrier (signature confirmation, carrier details)
  • For returns-related claims: Domestic return address, return shipping details (like prepaid labels), and explanation of why a return request was rejected
  • Customer communication: Any correspondence showing the customer acknowledged receipt or expressed satisfaction with the transaction

⚠️Important Note: The text box doesn't support attachments. If you need to share documents like proof of delivery, use Buyer-Seller Messages to send them to the customer, then mention in your appeal that you've attached additional information via Buyer-Seller Messages.

Step 4: Submit Your Appeal Click "Submit" when you're ready. Amazon will review the information you provided.

⏳What Happens Next?

After you submit your appeal, Amazon's investigation team will review your case. If they need additional information, they'll contact you via email. You must respond to any information requests within 48-72 hours.

When your appeal is successful, either the refund cost or the impact to your Order Defect Rate (ODR) may be reversed. Keep in mind that it may take up to 7 calendar days for the ODR reversal to reflect on your Orders page or for your selling account to be refunded.

Pro Tips for Successful Appeals

✓ Act quickly - Don't wait until the last day of your 30-day window

✓ Be specific - Include order IDs, dates, tracking numbers, and concrete evidence

✓ Stay professional - Present facts clearly without emotional language

✓ Document everything - Keep records of all customer communications

📚 Need More Help?

For additional guidance on A-to-Z claims, visit the A-to-z Guarantee Claims help page or learn more about responding to claim notifications.

I want to hear from you! What are your thoughts? How do you appeal? Do you have a format you use? Let me know!

One of the Support Representative said the product is checking for expiry validation but its been 5th day and not a single unit has validated so far and products are out of stock.

Can anyone please help me with this issue. This is so frustrating. We put so much effort make the products sellable and all of a suden amazon made them unavailable.

Any help will be appreaciated.

Posting here because Seller Support keeps sending the exact same copy-paste response no matter how many times I reply or how many new cases I open, and every new case just gets closed and redirected back to the original one. Looking for advice on escalation, and flagging this in case others have run into something similar with AWD.

SHIPMENT DETAILS

- AWD Shipment ID: STAR-QNE4BKWDW6GWW

- Created May 11, 2026, 656 units across 3 ASINs

- Carrier: Flock Freight, assigned by Amazon as the Partnered Carrier for this shipment

- Amazon closed this shipment after 90 days with 0 of 656 units ever received

WHAT AMAZON'S OWN TRACKING SHOWS

- The shipment tracking/summary page shows "Package delivered" on May 25, 2026 at Hesperia, CA, the AWD facility Amazon assigned (IUSP)

WHAT THE SIGNED BILL OF LADING ACTUALLY SHOWS

- A handwritten note on the BOL states IUSP refused the shipment because IUSP does not receive beverage products

- The load was then rerouted to a cross-dock location in Ontario, CA, and signed for by a named individual there on the same date, May 25, 2026

- So the freight was physically signed for that day, just not at the assigned AWD facility, and this is not reflected anywhere in Amazon's own systems

WHAT SELLER SUPPORT KEEPS SAYING, AND WHY IT DOESN'T ADD UP

- Seller Support claims a certain number of units were received on a specific date. If that's true, where are they now? They do not appear anywhere on our AWD inventory page.

- We checked the Inventory Ledger Report. Units briefly showed up under "Unknown Events" for a couple of days, then disappeared entirely with no Receipt, Lost, or Disposed entry since.

- We also checked the AWD Ledger Report specifically. It shows zero inventory movement at all for this shipment.

- Wherever this inventory actually is, it is not received, and it does not appear anywhere in any Amazon system we have access to.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING

- Locate the inventory and add it to our AWD account, or reimburse us in full for the inventory and the Partnered Carrier charges, since this was lost within Amazon's own carrier network after being correctly handed over on our end.

CASE HISTORY

- Original Case ID: 21653730431 - opened August 18, 2026. This is the main case; every other case we've opened since has been closed and merged back into this one, with the same copy-paste response repeated each time regardless of what new evidence or explanation we provide, including after phone calls with agents.

- Other case IDs tried: 21774975481, 22055197441, 22055590141, 22074718941

This has been going on since May 2026 and it's now the end of September. Happy to share the Bill of Lading, AWD Inventory Ledger, AWD Inbound Shipment Report, and tracking screenshots if any moderators or fellow sellers want to take a look.

Had a good few years on amazon but sales have now completely collapsed. Nothing changed and simply dont know why the sudden loss in sales. So we are closing the shop and solely replying on our own website. Has anyone else closed their amazon store and gone solo with their own website? We are sick of the continuous jumping through hoops, customers fraudulently making claims, bad service by royal mail, and the DD+7 payment disbursements. Its simply not worth selling on here. Cost of advertising is through the roof as are the fees. Anyone else gone through similar?

I am requesting assistance regarding an ongoing issue, where a customer has been granted an A to Z claim for £241.99, for a return they made outside of the 30 day return window. I disputed the claim, stating the following;

The customer opened a return on the 11th May. This was 5 days after the order was delivered. I left this return request open for 27 days. Then, on the 6th June, I closed the return request, as it had then been 32 days since the order was delivered, and so the return was no longer valid, as per your own terms and policies that state orders must be returned within 30 days. Then, after I had closed the return request, the customer suddenly decided they were going to now return the order, and did so on the 12th June, a full 38 days after the order was delivered. On the tracking, you can clearly see that this was not delivered to me. It was left outside of my house when I was on holiday. Therefore, I don't even have the return, as it was no longer there when I got home. So, I do not have the return, and the customer returned it well outside of the 30 day return window, despite having weeks to return it and me leaving the return window open for them the entire time. Only once the return request was closed did they suddenly decide to return it. Therefore, as previously confirmed by you, I have no obligation to refund the customer and so this claim must be overturned. You cannot completely ignore your own terms and policies that state customers must return orders within 30 days. This customer failed to do so, and so is not obligated to a refund.

Today, I have received a response stating the claim has been upheld. I have responded to the claim, again disputing it, and contacted the Managing Director, but I am also posting here to try and get this resolved. If this continues to not be resolved and the claim overturned, I will be escalating this further to ensure my funds are recouped.

I hope to get a response soon.

We have had notification of removal of some of our ASIN's as Amazon bots have decided the products are made of real animal fur, these are boilersuits made of Polycotton, they are listed correctly but as they are boilersuits some images show them being used on a farm and there are sheep in the photo. Amazon Account Health seem to think this might be the problem but we do not own the listing so cannot change, I have appealed with details of the product but this gets rejected (presumably by bots as if a human was looking at this appeal it would be obvious what has happened) Any advice on this, it seems mad that their automated systems have picked this up from something in a photo of the product!
