1 day dispatch
by Seller_KJmU5xliSK0Bl
Amazon replied

As I knew would happen Amazon set the 1 day dispatch and my delivery rate has fallen below 90%. I can handle the 1 day dispatch, however the delivery time is no way accurate. I use 2nd class post, which is what I can only use for single purchases, to keep competitive and in business. Royal Mail 2nd class post takes 4-8 working days with no Saturday delivery, with exceptions. Amazon still say it will be delivered on that day not an estimation. Sure I can go into each item and change it to a 2 day dispatch but when you have 1000's of listings it's not an overnight project.

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this at the moment.

We’re fully eligible for Premium Delivery and all metrics are fine, but 1-day delivery is showing one day later than expected, even though it’s still before the cutoff time.

Orders are still coming through to be despatched the same day and to deliver the next day, but the listing page says 2 days.

Nothing has changed on our side, and this started suddenly a few days ago across all listings.

Has anyone else had an issue with orders with a 1 day dispatch time coming through with a same day dispatch from Amazon? Any ideas how to fix this?

How is this order same day dispatch??
by Seller_vPTlUYc5NALmW
Amazon replied

So I had an order come in this morning and I’m gobsmacked that its saying I must already dispatch it today, same day!

I do NOT use Prime or any other express delivery option, my shipping settings (like many others) have recently changed from 1-2 days handling to 1 day dispatch so how on earth has this order suddenly become a same day dispatch!? I also don’t use any of the automated shipping settings.

For any mod investigating, the order number is 204-0331641-3869916

Could somebody please urgently offer an explanation for this? One day dispatch I can live with but not same day. Thanks

Hi everyone,

I’m sharing this here because I honestly cannot believe the state of things right now.

Please see the two screenshots attached:

14th October – usual ad spend of around £3,500/day (normal for us).

27th October – ad spend £900 total.

Nothing has changed on our side. Budgets are high, CPCs haven’t changed, no day-parting in place. Yet every single campaign across the board is just ceasing to display after 12pm UK time.

This is costing us tens of thousands per day in lost sales.

We’ve escalated this with our Strategic Account Services Program Manager but, to be frank, this is an absolute joke and sellers deserve transparency.

To make things worse, on Saturday night our payments were suddenly ceased with no true explanation other than “it could possibly be to do with your metrics.” Our metrics are perfect. Account Health score is 1000/1000, all thresholds well above requirements. This has since been sorted out, but it does not help your mental health when you’ve got staff wages, bills, and commitments that rely on cash flow being consistent and predictable. I can also see many other sellers being affected by this as well.

We turn over 8 figures annually on this platform, but over the last year it has become an absolute nightmare to deal with. How are businesses expected to operate, forecast, and grow when things like this are literally occurring every single day?

The introduction of AI into this business has been its downfall. Amazon laid off around 30,000 staff recently, and it’s painfully obvious that listing takedowns, account flags, and even major business-impacting decisions are no longer human reviewed, they are AI-driven, blunt, and error-prone. That leaves sellers completely exposed, with no proper escalation path or human oversight. We usually tend to have to 'Fight AI with AI'

This needs to be acknowledged publicly and resolved. Sellers cannot keep footing the bill for systemic issues like this.

Prime Day Discussion

Hi Sellers,

How’s your Prime Day going so far in terms of sales? Are you seeing an increase in traffic and conversions compared to your usual performance, or has it been slower than expected?

Would be great to hear how different categories are performing and whether your Prime Day deals and advertising campaigns are delivering the results you anticipated.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences!

Hi Sellers,

Congratulations on another Prime Day. Last year, advertisers saw a 137% sales increase using Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and display ads versus average category growth.¹ Here's how to turn that surge into sustained growth.

📊 Quick Poll: What's your post-Prime Day priority?

  • Reviewing campaign performance
  • Re-engaging shoppers with display ads
  • Planning for the next sale season

1️⃣ Capture What Worked Before You Forget

Compare performance across the lead-up, the event, and the days after:

  • Identify campaigns with the strongest ROAS during peak hours
  • Note where cost-per-click spiked without a conversion lift
  • Check new-to-brand metrics to measure audience expansion
  • Review long-term sales metrics for projected revenue from new customers

💡 Document findings now. They become your playbook for Prime Big Deals Day and the holidays.

2️⃣ Mine Your Search Term Report

Prime Day traffic reveals shopper intent invisible during normal periods:

  • Move high-converting terms into manual campaigns as Exact match keywords
  • Add negative keywords to cut spend on low-converting terms
  • Spot alphanumeric entries (ASINs); if they converted, add them as product-level keywords

💡 Cross-reference with Brand Analytics for terms that spiked during the event.

3️⃣ Re-engage New Audiences with Display Ads

Display ads² keep you visible to shoppers who just found your brand:

  • Use Remarketing audiences with a lookback window covering Prime Day
  • Run ads for at least 2 weeks post-event whilst purchase intent is high

Advertisers using Sponsored Brands and display ads saw a 39% sales increase versus category growth.¹

🔑 Prime Day brought new shoppers to your brand. Keep campaigns active, double down on what converted, and stay visible whilst new customers decide what to buy next.

How Was Your Prime Day?

Whether you exceeded your ROAS targets or picked up valuable lessons, we'd like to hear from you.

  • What was your biggest advertising win this Prime Day?
  • Which campaign strategy are you keeping active post-event?
  • What would you do differently next time?
