Since Amazon forced Shipping Settings Automation (SSA) onto my shipping template, my delivery promises have become an absolute mess.
Before this change, my delivery estimates worked perfectly well and reflected how I actually fulfil my orders. Since SSA took over, I'm now seeing multiple different problems and I honestly don't know how sellers are supposed to manage their delivery performance when we no longer seem to have proper control over the promises Amazon is making to customers.
A few examples from my account today:
1. STANDARD DELIVERY ESTIMATES ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE
I have now changed my individual SKU handling times to 2 days, because that accurately reflects my production/dispatch time.
Most of the listings I've checked are now showing FREE delivery Saturday 26 September, which is fine.
However, I've also got orders/listings showing Sunday 27 September.
My delivery settings clearly show my normal operating/delivery days, and I don't understand why Amazon is generating Sunday delivery promises when that isn't a delivery day I can rely on.
2. ONE-DAY AND TWO-DAY PREMIUM SHIPPING APPEAR TO BE ENABLED/LOCKED BY AUTOMATION
When I go into my shipping template, both:
Two-Day Premium Shipping
One-Day Premium Shipping
are showing as "Managed by Amazon".
When I edit Shipping Settings Automation, Royal Mail is ticked for both services, but the boxes are greyed out. I cannot untick them.
I've already established that I cannot simply turn SSA off on this template/account either.
Today I suddenly received an order headed:
"[Second Day Delivery]"
requiring dispatch the same day.
I can actually accommodate Premium orders, so that in itself isn't necessarily a problem. But why am I no longer able to decide which Premium services are enabled on my own shipping template?
3. THE PREMIUM CUT-OFF TIME IN SELLER CENTRAL DOES NOT MATCH THE PROMISE BEING SHOWN TO CUSTOMERS
My General Fulfilment Settings clearly show:
One-Day Delivery / Two-Day Delivery cut-off: 12:30 PM
Yet at approximately 10:30 this morning one of my live listings was showing:
"Fastest delivery Tomorrow, 24 September. Order within 4 hrs 23 mins."
That takes the customer ordering window to approximately 3 PM.
How can Amazon be offering next-day delivery until approximately 3 PM when Seller Central says my One-Day/Two-Day cut-off is 12:30 PM?
I cannot manufacture and dispatch a made-to-order product at 3 PM simply because Amazon has decided to extend the ordering window.
4. THIS IS POTENTIALLY AFFECTING OTDR
This is the part that concerns me most.
Amazon measures sellers against delivery promises, but SSA is now making delivery promises that I appear to have very little control over.
I've already had problems with my OTDR recently, and now I'm seeing:
Saturday promises
Sunday promises
Unexpected Second Day Delivery orders
Premium services I cannot deselect
Next-day ordering windows that don't match my configured cut-off time
How are sellers supposed to protect their OTDR when Amazon itself is controlling the delivery dates and apparently ignoring or overriding some of the settings we've entered?
I'm not against automation if it works. But taking control of the delivery promise away from the seller only works if Amazon's automation accurately understands the seller's fulfilment operation.
At the moment mine doesn't.
Has anyone else in the UK had these problems since SSA was forced onto their templates?
In particular, are you seeing Sunday delivery promises, Premium options greyed out/locked, or customer-facing next-day cut-offs that don't match the cut-off configured in Seller Central?
Because right now the whole thing feels like a complete mess.
Dear Community Managers,
I am requesting urgent executive assistance to resolve a complex FBA inventory receiving error across two shipments. Standard front-line Seller Support has auto-closed my cases with macro rejections, but I have absolute invoice records, carrier receipts, and inventory ledger logs proving that my physical inventory was accepted into the fulfillment network and subsequently wiped from the system ledger.
The Root Cause (Cross-Shipment Inversion):
Due to a physical labeling inversion at dispatch, two boxes were sent to alternating fulfillment centers:
1. The physical box containing the Bostik Glue was routed to LBA4 under the EUGY shipment ID.
2. The physical box containing the EUGY Kits was routed to BHX3 under the Bostik shipment ID.
Both boxes were successfully delivered by the carriers, meaning 100% of the inventory is physically safe inside the Amazon network.
Shipment 1 Details (EUGY Shipping Plan):
• Shipment ID: FBA15M8VCCPZ (Fulfillment Center: LBA4)
• Carrier Proof: UPS Proof of Delivery showing a certified weight of 3.00 kg at pickup.
• Case ID: 13323522182 (Auto-Closed)
Shipment 2 Details (Bostik Glue Shipping Plan):
• Shipment ID: FBA15M8V03S6 (Fulfillment Center: BHX3)
• Carrier Proof: DPD Parcel Number 1597 6951 723 233 Z, confirmed delivered by MANIFEST on 23 Sep 2026.
• Case ID: 13349580232 (Auto-Denied)
The Ledger Discrepancy Proof (Why the Inventory is Valid):
My Inventory Ledger screenshots clearly capture Amazon’s warehouse actively receiving this stock before digitally deleting it:
• On Sept 14, the LBA4 fulfillment center ledger logs +30 units of Bostik Glue received under the EUGY plan, confirming the physical arrival of the box.
• On Oct 5, the automated system performed a ledger correction, removing the -30 Bostik units as an "unexpected item" error.
By correcting the digital ledger instead of routing a cross-shipment transfer, the warehouse completely wiped my actual physical inventory out of the tracking queue. Both the 25 missing EUGY units at BHX3 and the 30 physical Bostik units at LBA4 are currently sitting unreconciled in the warehouses.
Documentation Attached:
I have provided the supplier invoice (Albert Harrison & Co Ltd, #769347) matching the exact stock counts, the carrier receipts, and the ledger logs showing the physical intake on Sept 14.
I need an FBA Inventory Specialist or Supervisor to look past the automated system closures, review the cross-docked locations, and process either an internal stock transfer or a physical inventory reimbursement.
Thank you for your help.

Hello Amazon Moderator / Seller Support Team,
I am requesting assistance with an ongoing GB Restricted Products compliance appeal for the following listing:
• Case ID: 13076593322
• ASIN: B0H41WKNJZ
• Product: Puress Retainer Cleaning Tablets
• Original Removal Date: 23 July 2026
• Appeal Submitted: 1 September 2026
• Current Status: Work in progress / Repeated 10-day waiting period
---
### 1. Compliance Corrective Actions Completed
Following the original notification regarding CLP packaging labels and hazard details, we completed the following updates:
• Updated Packaging: Implemented revised packaging version PUR-120-V2 with applicable hazard pictograms, hazard statements, and precautionary statements.
• Documentation Submitted: Uploaded SDS, IFU (Instructions for Use), UK Declaration of Conformity, MHRA registration confirmation, and high-resolution packaging photos.
• Inventory & Backend Updates: Removed old FBA inventory and updated hazard/precautionary statements in Seller Central under Manage Inventory / Edit.
---
### 2. Technical Issue: Locked Detail Page / Synchronisation
While the updated compliance information is saved and visible in our Seller Central back end interface, it is NOT synchronising to the customer-facing detail page.
Because the listing was removed, the detail page appears to be locked/frozen, preventing our compliance updates from rendering publicly. We have uploaded screenshots verifying that the updates exist in our back end.
---
### 3. Case Stagnation & Repeated 10-Business-Day Responses
• 14 September 2026: Advised the review would take up to 10 business days.
• 30 September 2026: Reopened for a status update; received another standard response requesting an additional 10-business-day wait without substantive feedback.
Significant FBA inventory remains stranded due to this delay. We fully respect Amazon's safety and regulatory verification process, but we are stuck in an automated queue loop without confirmation of whether our documentation is complete or if a detail page refresh is required from the catalog team.
---
### Request for Escalation
Could a forum moderator please escalate Case 13076593322 to a senior Restricted Products / Compliance Specialist to confirm:
1. Whether our submitted documentation (SDS, IFU, MHRA, PUR-120-V2 packaging) is complete.
2. Whether the Restricted Products team can initiate a catalog/detail page refresh to push our back end compliance updates to the live listing.
3. If any specific outstanding items are still required from our side to finalise the reinstatement.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
I am sure that many seller out there are frustrated with getting their VAT verified
I have been trading for over 30 years and with Amazon over 26 years with a valid VAT Registration and UK address and I am nearing the end of my patience with trying to explain that I am here and not trying to do the wrong thing.
I have spoken to Health support many times (well over 8 hours in total) I am told what I submit is OK, I then get an email saying I have submitted the wrong information from the said health support advisor
any ideas would be helpful
Hello Amazon team,
I am hoping an Amazon moderator can assist by escalating this matter to the appropriate Restricted Products / Product Compliance team.
ASIN: B0DSLPWDSG
Product: Acid Wash 80, Multi-Purpose Concentrated Acid Cleaner, 5L
We have now appealed this Restricted Products decision multiple times.
Every response repeats essentially the same statement:
“The sale of products classified as List I or List II poisons according to the Poisons Act is prohibited on Amazon.”
We understand Amazon's policy and are not challenging Amazon's right to prohibit restricted products.
The issue is that Amazon has repeatedly failed to identify which ingredient within this product it believes is a List I/List II regulated poison.
The manufacturer's current Safety Data Sheet identifies hydrochloric acid, CAS 7647-01-0, at 10–30%.
The current UK Home Office List of Chemicals places hydrochloric acid at the applicable concentration under:
REGULATED EXPLOSIVES PRECURSORS
It does not place hydrochloric acid under:
REGULATED POISONS
The legislation likewise places hydrochloric acid (CAS 7647-01-0) at 10% w/w within Schedule 1A Part 1 relating to regulated explosives precursors.
We fully recognise that this classification carries separate legal restrictions. We are not arguing that hydrochloric acid is unrestricted.
Our concern is that Amazon continues to reject the ASIN specifically on the basis that it is a List I/List II poison, without identifying the ingredient or information responsible for that classification.
We have specifically asked Seller Support:
Which ingredient in ASIN B0DSLPWDSG does Amazon consider to be a List I or List II regulated poison?
Unfortunately, none of the responses has answered this question.
One response stated that the decision was based on “information provided in the detail page”, but Amazon did not identify which detail-page attribute was responsible.
We would therefore be extremely grateful if an Amazon moderator could review the internal case history and escalate this to the Restricted Products/Product Compliance team.
We are specifically requesting confirmation of either:
A) The ingredient/CAS number Amazon considers to be a regulated poison;
or
B) Confirmation that the restriction is actually being applied because the product contains a regulated explosives precursor, together with the relevant Amazon policy.
If there is inaccurate backend catalogue information or an incorrect detail-page attribute triggering the classification, we are happy to correct it using the manufacturer's official documentation.
We will not remove or alter any legally required hazard or safety information.
If Amazon has a separate policy prohibiting products containing hydrochloric acid at this concentration, we will of course comply. We simply need Amazon to identify the correct policy rather than repeatedly stating that this product is a List I/List II poison.
Previous case IDs:
[CASE 13258248342]
We can provide the manufacturer's SDS, full product photographs, regulatory labelling and the current Home Office classification.
Could an Amazon moderator please review this and forward the case to the internal Restricted Products/Product Compliance team?
Thank you.
My Amazon UK selling account was deactivated on 29 September 2026 due to product authenticity concerns for ASIN B09TLFY4GP.
I have submitted original supplier invoices covering the 280 units requested by Amazon, together with payment, shipping and authorization/authenticity evidence.
However, the latest response states:“Supplier name: SKIN1004”This appears to be a misunderstanding of the submitted documentation.
SKIN1004 is the brand, not our direct supplier.
Our direct suppliers shown on the invoices are:
Craver Corporation / UMMA – 130 unitsAsianBeautyWholesale (Hong Kong) Limited – 150 unitsSKIN1004’s official website also lists UMMA as an Authorized Seller.
The 280 units are fully reconciled to our original purchase invoices:
ABW – 50 units – 11 Sep 2025 ABW – 100 units – 15 Oct 2025 Craver/UMMA – 100 units – 17 Nov 2025
Craver/UMMA – 30 units – 27 Apr 2026
Total: 280 unitsThe 50 units purchased on 11 September 2025 were opening inventory before sales commenced in October 2025, which is why that purchase invoice predates the corresponding sales period.
I would greatly appreciate it if an Amazon moderator could review the case and, if appropriate, escalate it for a manual review of the supplier documentation.
My account was suspended over 2 years ago and funds still on hold for product authenticity
Over 30 appeals sent all of which was rejected with no actual proper response. Submitted invoices and bank statement to show proof of purchase but Amazon still not satisfied. What shall I do now
Unfortunately having to prepare an appeal (no individual ASINs deactivated) due to some recent low percentages on this metric, averaging I guess 60-70% over 30 days or so, so could really do with some solid advice and pointers.
So, the root causes. Part of it has been hitherto using cheaper and (as it’s turned out) more unreliable couriers myself (not using Buy Shipping presently), either picking up and/or delivering late (eg Evri and others) - but going forward at least they can be dropped/excluded and replaced now by more reliable carriers.
Anther root cause has literally been cash flow. Since DD+7 only hit us a short time ago, cash flow between buying/replacing stock, wages and finding the cash to even post at times has been so dire that it’s exacerbated and resulted in the late dispatching and delivery of some items, ultimately also causing my percentage on this metric to drop. On a plus, I have now secured a substantial business loan (which I wasn’t able to before) which hopefully resolves this particular root cause.
Another root cause is from inaccurate handling delays - since I’ve not hitherto been using any of the automated shipping settings (AHT and SSA) I’m happy to turn on both of these going forward though would prefer at this stage not to use Buy Shipping (unless ultimately that’s the only route available in order to resolve my appeal). I understand using a combination of all 3 can offer future OTDR protection but as I say, unless forced to use Amazon’s shipping I’d prefer not to.
I’ve also recently opened up a Royal Mail (OBA) account which will collect from me daily in future so that is another plus going forward.
These are some of my initial thoughts, I haven’t begun my appeal as yet I just wanted some feedback from others/mods before I prepare it.
Whilst I’m aware that an appeal will likely automatically be granted if I turn on SSA, AHT and Amazon Buy shipping I’d be interested in any feedback regarding preparing a potentially successful appeal that excludes the Buy Shipping part. Thanks in advance.
Hello,
Since 23-24 September 2026 every new child variation we submit is refused with error 8571 (weekly new ASIN creation limit). Before that we created new ASINs every week, up to 23 September, without any issue. The Sunday reset has not lifted it, and we received no notice of any change to our limit.
Example SKU: 10250ALG-M260-120832 (shows 8571 in Manage All Inventory).
Case 13326630172 was forwarded to an internal specialist on 30 September, with no reply since. With Christmas approaching, our prepared products cannot be listed.
Could a moderator please request a review of case 13326630172? Thank you.
