I am urgently requesting assistance regarding a recurring system-level technical issue with the "uk-18-knife" age verification attribute for our kitchen knife listings.

The Problem

Since July 10, we have received 74 duplicate performance notifications across 7 different ASINs, all alleging that our products lack the "uk-18-knife" attribute. Our products have been deactivated as a result.

We are fully aware of Amazon UK's requirements for selling kitchen knives:

*All products must be sold via FBA ✅

*The "uk-18-knife" flag must be uploaded via spreadsheet or product detail page ✅

We have complied with both requirements from day one.

What We Have Done (All Failed)

*Uploaded the product spreadsheet with full-update multiple times

*Edited each listing in "Manage All Inventory" and confirmed the age restriction setting

*Opened multiple support cases

*Submitted appeals via Account Health

*Each time we upload the spreadsheet, we receive additional performance notifications. The more we try to fix it, the more notifications we receive. We are stuck in a loop.

The Evidence That This Is a System Error:

For our older ASIN, the "uk-18-knife" flag is still visibly present on the front-end product detail page – yet the system continues to send notifications claiming it is missing.

For 3 of the new ASINs that have inventory in FBA, the flag is also present on the front end. For the other 3 new ASINs (currently in transit to FBA), we cannot observe the front end, but we have confirmed the attribute is correctly set in the backend.

This is NOT the first time. We experienced the identical issue in April–May 2026. After an extended process with Seller Support, the issue was eventually resolved manually..

Other sellers on this forum are reporting th exact same problem – the system fails to detect the "uk-18-knife" flag even when it has been correctly uploaded.

The Irony

Seller Support keeps instructing us to "upload the spreadsheet to update the uk-18-knife tag" – which we have already done multiple times. This is a circular response that does not address the underlying system failure.

Our Request:

*Review our case history and confirm this is a recurring system-level issue

*Escalate this matter to the technical team or internal review team – not to Seller Support (who keep giving us the same circular instructions)

*Help stop the repetitive automated notifications for these 7 ASINs

*Assist in manually restoring our products to active status

We are fully compliant sellers who have been selling kitchen knives on Amazon UK for a long time. This recurring system error is causing severe disruption to our business.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I am 14 years on Amazon and they have never listened to sellers, Amazon and AI knows best, so forget any change asked for by sellers it is not happening.

The only thing that could happen is Amazon could decide to charge £10 a month to use the old seller central, that could happen.

@Seller_xFmxgyFGApsI2,

Thank you for your patience and for providing the case IDs. We have reviewed all three cases.

Here is what we found:

FNSKU X002HUXGOB (Case 13230898572):

A transfer of 138 units was initiated with an estimated completion date of September 10. We recommend checking your inventory dashboard to confirm whether those units have arrived.

The remaining units are being processed through automatic transfers, though these are moving gradually.

FNSKU X002JKUNEP (Case 13252661432):

Approximately 280 units were in transit with an estimated arrival window of September 10-20.

We recommend verifying your inventory levels to see if any of those units have since been received.

Next Steps:

  • Please check your Manage FBA Inventory page and Inventory Ledger to confirm whether the in-transit units have arrived
  • If the transfers have not completed within the estimated timeframes above, we recommend opening a new Seller Support case referencing these case IDs for an updated status
  • Continue to monitor your case log for further updates

We understand this is impacting your delivery performance and sales, and we appreciate your patience as the transfers are processed.

-Abbie

Dear Amazon Seller Support Team,

I’m posting here because I’ve exhausted the standard support channels and need help from a Community Manager to escalate an advertising spend limit issue.

Our situation:

Our advertising account has been capped at £10/day for over two weeks.

This allows for only around 10 clicks per day, which is effectively no meaningful advertising exposure.

We have FBA inventory sitting in Amazon fulfilment centres, accruing storage fees, and we cannot generate sales velocity to launch and rank our products.

Our account record:

We have made 9 consecutive on-time advertising payments, including a £150 invoice paid today.

No late payments, no failed payments, no outstanding advertising invoices or unpaid orders.

The credit card linked to our advertising account is verified and has sufficient available balance.

Our seller account balance is also sufficient to cover all advertising costs.

Account Health is clean: no performance notifications, policy violations, or compliance issues.

European KYC verification is fully completed.

What we’ve tried:

We contacted Amazon Advertising Support and were told the limit is a standard feature and cannot be manually adjusted.

We have already waited more than two weeks for an automatic increase, but nothing has changed.

We opened a case and received only a standard and auto response. The 10£budget cap still exist

What we’re asking for:

We are not asking Amazon to bypass its risk controls. We are asking for a manual review based on our strong payment history and clean account record. If the frontline team cannot adjust this, please escalate this case to the internal team responsible for advertising spend limits.

Could a Community Manager please help escalate this?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Stranded inventory
by Seller_0msMReDTskp1Y

Overnight one of my FBA listings has become stranded due to a "listing error" (10 year old listing with no changes made to it). SS advice is to delete it, wait 24 hours and then relist.

I've deleted it but I can't recreate it directly as an FBA listing. I have an FBM version of the same listing - would it be sufficient to convert this to an FBA listing? It's identical apart from the SKU, which I assume I will have to change to match that of the now deleted listing?

Hello Amazon Seller Forums,

I am looking for guidance and assistance regarding an unresolved FBA inbound shipment discrepancy. I would appreciate it if a Community Manager could review the case and advise whether it can be escalated to the appropriate internal team for a manual investigation.

Shipment Information

Shipment ID: FBA15M0316WZ

Reference ID: 16EJHKKV

Fulfillment Center: LBA4

Carrier-reported delivery date: August 27, 2026

Seller Support Case ID: 13259926462

Total cartons shipped: 10

Total units shipped: 540

Units currently recorded as received: 216

Units currently unaccounted for: 324

This is not simply a unit-level receiving discrepancy.

Based on the documented packing configuration, the discrepancy corresponds exactly to six complete cartons.

The shipment contained 10 cartons, with the same packing configuration for each carton:

54 units per carton

Dimensions: 45 × 30 × 54 cm

Weight: approximately 12.5 kg per carton

Total shipment weight: approximately 125 kg

Receiving Discrepancy

According to our packing list, the shipment contained:

SKU A

Expected: 500 units

Received: 200 units

Discrepancy: 300 units

SKU B

Expected: 40 units

Received: 16 units

Discrepancy: 24 units

Therefore, Amazon's receiving records currently account for only 216 of the 540 units shipped, leaving 324 units unaccounted for.

Based on the carton configuration, 324 units correspond exactly to 6 full cartons (6 × 54 units).

For privacy reasons, I have not included the complete SKU/FNSKU details in this public post. We have the packing list, shipment information, carrier delivery confirmation/POD, and other supporting documentation available and can provide them if needed.Looking for Guidance Regarding an Unresolved FBA Inbound Shipment Discrepancy – Shipment FBA15M0316WZ

Previous Seller Support Case

We have already contacted Amazon Selling Partner Support regarding this issue under Case ID 13259926462.

However, the latest response appears to be a standard/template response and does not seem to address the specific circumstances of this shipment, particularly the fact that:

The carrier reports the shipment as delivered to Amazon's fulfillment center on August 27, 2026;

The shipment consisted of 10 cartons with a consistent packing configuration;

Amazon's receiving records currently account for only 216 of the 540 units;

The remaining 324 units represent 6 complete cartons based on the documented packing configuration.

The response did not provide a detailed reconciliation of the shipment at the carton or receiving level, nor did it explain what happened to the unaccounted-for units after delivery.

Assistance Requested

I completely understand that inbound shipments can sometimes experience receiving delays or discrepancies, and I am not looking to dispute the standard process.

At this point, I would simply appreciate assistance in determining whether the shipment can receive a manual investigation beyond the standard Seller Support workflow.

If possible, could a Community Manager please review Case 13259926462 and help escalate it to the appropriate FBA Inbound / Receiving / Inventory Reconciliation team?

In particular, we would appreciate a review of:

The receiving records for Shipment FBA15M0316WZ at LBA4;

Carton-level receiving and scanning records;

The shipment's carton count and receiving history;

Any internal inventory movements or transfers associated with the shipment;

Whether the 324 currently unaccounted-for units can be located and reconciled.

If the missing inventory cannot be located after the investigation, we would also appreciate guidance regarding the applicable reimbursement process.

We have the packing list, shipment information, carrier delivery confirmation/POD, and other supporting documentation available and can provide them if needed.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review this. We would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance from a Community Manager in getting this shipment manually reviewed.

Hello,

My UK seller account had previously been suspended due to a verification issue.

Recently, I updated my address information through my Canada seller account. When I entered my new address, I noticed that this automatically triggered a new validation process for my UK account as well.

The address verification was completed and approved very quickly for my Canada and Mexico accounts. However, my UK account is still showing “We are validating your information.”

Amazon states that the review can take up to 10 working days, and this period will end on Wednesday, September 16. I have not received any request for additional documents or information.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation with their UK account? What usually happens when the 10-working-day period ends? If the information is approved, could this validation also help resolve the previous verification-related suspension, or are these handled as separate processes?

Any guidance from sellers who have experienced this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Dear Amazon Seller Support,

I am a UK-based seller and have been selling successfully on Amazon for nearly 10 years. My company is VAT registered, and I have submitted my VAT certificate for account verification. The verification is failing because the legal business name in my Seller Central account shows my full personal name — RICHARD JAMES HATTON — which does not match the name on my VAT certificate / HMRC records.

I fully understand your requirement that "The legal business name must exactly match the name on your VAT certificate." The problem is: I CANNOT EDIT THE LEGAL BUSINESS NAME ANYWHERE IN SELLER CENTRAL.

Every time I go to:

Settings → Account Info → Business Information → Identity Information

The legal business name field is LOCKED / UNEDITABLE. It will only let me change personal contact details — NOT the business name itself. I cannot make the names match, no matter what I try.

I have now called Amazon over 50 times and sent dozens of emails. I have opened two active support cases:

🔹 Case ID: 13267763262

🔹 Case ID: 13264681212

No one has been able to help me, explain how to change this, or make the edit on your side. Every response tells me to go to the same page — which does NOT allow the change.

THIS IS EXTREMELY URGENT:

My account will be deactivated in 32 days. If this is not resolved, 12 people will lose their jobs — my entire team depends on this account.

PLEASE — SOMEONE MUST MANUALLY UPDATE MY LEGAL BUSINESS NAME ON YOUR SYSTEM so it matches my HMRC / VAT registration, or tell me exactly where to click to make this change. I have submitted my VAT certificate — you have the proof — please just update the record so we can continue trading.

I have been a loyal seller for almost a decade. I am not asking for special treatment — I just need the name field unlocked or updated so it matches my VAT certificate.

Current Account Name: Richard James Hatton

Correct Legal Name (per VAT/HMRC): [BASILDON WALLPAPERS]

I await your URGENT PERSONAL ASSISTANCE.

Yours sincerely,

@Seller_sSkzzHms7Kxs6 @Seller_06JS7friV1yzw@Seller_4GjtS9k0cnHHv @Seller_OOVUXZLmb2UEH @Seller_PIHyltK09pbl3 @Seller_GEZPMc4CeQfh6 @Seller_l7Jtck9jxnEA0 @Seller_CnfW62x6yxvJw @Seller_Xeu1yCddlYxed @Seller_xkwDczt8sPSmx @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse @Seller_NsKjQqJ8b47IS @Seller_b2AIUT8dwcS0Z @Seller_hme3Wbydd1ihr@Seller_XUNeUuvrQDpgP@Seller_GEZPMc4CeQfh6@Seller_Ug6VgILrMyyhZ @Seller_pfmAG3Qx211yJ

And, after over 20 years, it's time to go.
by Seller_H8b71L5Gi65gE

We have sold on here for 5 years - However I thought it was just us having these issues. Amazon are asking us for invoicing from suppliers. First it was it must show 10 or more of the same item by the same brand - NOW it must show 100 items. Then they have over £1000 in the account of goods sold and due to us and for the 3rd time in 6 months we have had to borrow to keep the business going. Last pay out was £13.60 with £1340 still owing to us. Its a big shame because we are both making money but Amazon seem to be trying hardest to stop us where they can.

Deleting all connections to EU selling.
by Seller_lyUF34znaGncK

I get pestered constantly from Amazon in other EU countries even though I do not sell there. The latest one is today where I have had around 10 emails from different Amazon EU countries saying:

"Your Amazon.de account requires verification details within 30 days of receiving this email. If this verification is not completed, your account will be deactivated and transfers will be restricted."

I am sure I went through and deactivated them all but it seems that Amazon worms its way back in and constantly recognises me as selling there.

1) how do I stop this nonsense once and for all?

2) Do I have to submit evidence to each and every country individually?

3) Can it affect my UK account if I don't?

Thanks.
