Section 3 Account Deactivation After Standard P-4 Authentication
Hello,
Recently, my account was selected for a standard P-4 Authentication process. I have submitted all the required documents completely and accurately, including:
Front and back of my government-issued identity document
Company registration certificate
Internet bill verifying my address
Official residence certificate obtained through the Turkish e-Government system
The address on my residence certificate is exactly the same as the address on my internet bill. The only difference between these documents and the address registered in the Seller Center is minor spelling differences resulting from the use of English equivalents for Turkish characters (Ç, Ş, Ğ, Ü, Ö, İ). Apart from these character differences, the addresses are identical.
Believing this to be a routine authentication process, I submitted all the required documents completely and in good faith. However, after reviewing my documents, I received the following response:
"We have received your application but we cannot reactivate your account. After reviewing your account, we have confirmed that your Amazon seller account has been used for deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activities that have harmed our customers, other affiliates, and our store."
This decision came as a complete surprise to me, as I had received no notification regarding any alleged deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity on my account prior to the identity verification process.
Furthermore, I was not informed of the specific reasons for this decision. Amazon did not explain what documents, transactions, orders, or account activities led to the conclusion that my account should be deactivated under Section 3.
I subsequently opened a case requesting a review of the decision by a senior team. Approximately 25 minutes later, I received a response stating that my account had been reviewed again but the original decision remained unchanged. However, no further details were provided regarding the specific reason for the decision.
Therefore, I respectfully request a more thorough manual review of my case by a specialist team.
I understand that Amazon occasionally conducts large-scale identity verification reviews. However, I'm not a new seller. I'm currently in my second year of selling on Amazon, and during that time I've consistently made every effort to comply with Amazon's policies and provide the best possible customer experience.
