OTDR - 89%, At risk of deactivation?
by Seller_TJr1f9I1ncjgY

We send most of our orders via Royal Mail Tracked 48 but unfortunately our OTDR is usually hovering around 80%, (currently 89%) so we have had the 'Your seller-fulfilled offers are at risk of deactivation' warning on seller central for quite awhile!

Would Amazon actually deactivate our account? What should we do? I don't think we qualify for Amazon post as most days dispatch under 40 parcels, should we move to Tracked 24?

Hello @Seller_lmwzklfLOK2Ob ,

I hope you are doing well. I am gently following up on the internal technical ticket (129058608--) you kindly escalated for me.

It has been over two weeks since your update, and my original Case (12661978832) has now been stuck in the "Transferred" status for over 40 days (since June 3rd).

My business operations remain completely halted because the "Business Address" UI field is still locked to the Wyoming registered agent address. I am still unable to legally submit my authentic Turkish utility bill.

Could you please check with the internal technical team to see if there is any progress on removing this UI lock? I desperately need to update my address and comply with the verification process.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support.

Hi Indy_Amazon,

I've just had a notification "Address pricing errors to reinstate deactivated listings" - the book in question was priced by me at £3.50 (+post) and the Reference Price advised by Amazon is £50.23 (+£0 post)

So I can't list my copy as the price is too high, but they can?

Amazon's system actually appears to be using a comparator price of £2.20 which is the price in 1984 when the book was first published (over 40 years ago)...

How does this make sense?

Best

Brian

Your system is so incredibly slow.

To list a new product on our own site or ebay takes me about 1 minute. With Amazon, it takes me over 10 minutes just to get the file uploaded, which can then take another 20-40 minutes before the upload is accepted (which may throw errors needing me to resubmit the feed), then it can take another 20 minutes before the individual ASINs show up in my inventory manager which, once they do, then takes me 20 more minutes to go into each one and add in the final details and the images.

It's a joke. There are times I'm just sitting there, waiting 45 seconds for the page to unfreeze or process that I've clicked in a box.

Oh gosh I am totally with you here. Its painful. So I sell fabric and haberdashery items. I'm incredibly vulnerable to people having disposable income. Its all non-essential items. June was quiet in the heatwave, fair enough. I actually didn't mind as I needed less to do myself. Start of July came and there was zero payday lift. If anything I have less orders than in the heatwave. I said to my husband, there are days in-between christmas and new year that took more money than I did yesterday (Friday the 3rd of July). We sell on eBay, Etsy, Amazon and our own store. Its across the board. I'm definitely seeing the pain the most on Amazon as that's always been our largest market.

I've done a C-flow forecast for a quiet summer, and that was a 'scrapping through the summer' prediction. If it carries on, I'm doing about 40% less than I forecast.

I've read all the comments on here and I think it could be all of these factors.

Anyway, what I must do is not get sucked into over analysing it. Hunker down, spend the time making improvements (new photos, SEO the hell out of everything) and then in September if we're still down then its time to close. Over the last 2 years I've cost cut everywhere I can. I used to have 3 staff, its now just me. There is no-one else to make redundant, there is no cheaper utilities to use, or cheaper place to rent.

Thank you to all who have posted here as I was starting to feel like it was just me, I must have done something wrong. But to hear that all different product areas are feeling the same (with exception of a few) it is sort of reassuring.

I realized my account had been deactivated 10 days after I received the email. I clicked the link in the email to reactivate my account and uploaded the four documents they requested: a bank statement, my passport, a supplier invoice, and business proof.

After that, I went to the next step immediately, where they asked me when I wanted to schedule the video call. There was an option to do it immediately, so I selected that. I waited around 20 minutes until I was connected to an agent. After I answered all his questions successfully, my account was reactivated within 30–40 minutes and everything went back to normal.

Effective 30 July 2026, the New Selection Programme (2026) launches with increased benefits to help you launch new branded products with reduced costs and complexity while boosting early sales.

If you’re currently enrolled in our existing New Selection Programme, you’ll automatically receive New Selection Programme (2026) benefits for new branded FBA ASINs that launch starting 30 July to 31 October 2026, as an introductory offer.

To continue to receive New Selection Programme (2026) benefits after 31 October, you must confirm your enrolment on Enrol in New Selection Programme (2026). From 30 July, the existing New Selection Programme will end.

New benefits for an eligible new-to-FBA product include (applicable from first inventory received date):

  • Instant fee credits equivalent to capping referral fees to 10% (or your existing rate, whichever is lower) on your first 100 units and 5% (or your existing rate, whichever is lower) on the next 100 units. Credits apply to major fees, like referral and fulfilment fees.
  • £40 in voucher variable fee credits and £60 in Vine enrolment fee credits (applied to middle tier), usable within the first 60 days.
  • Free storage, free customer returns, free liquidations on your first 200 units for the first 120 days.
  • No low-inventory-level fee and storage utilization surcharge on your first 200 units for the first 120 days.
  • 45-day extension on the above benefits when using the Vine Pre-launch service.

The UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain stores are treated as separate regions. You can independently qualify for New Selection Programme (2026) benefits in each region.

Note: New Selection Programme (2026) benefits don’t stack with New Seller Incentives. If eligible for both, New Seller Incentives benefits will be applied first.

For more information, go to New Selection Programme (2026).

ZOOM BOOKS

We received more than 40 individual orders from the this customer within 3–4 days, and now we’re not sure how to proceed.

If we ship all the orders, it could result in a significant loss if the customer later decides to cancel or return them. On the other hand, if we cancel the orders ourselves, it may negatively affect our account health.

I tried calling the customer, but the phone number is not working. Is it safe to ship all the orders?

I already opened a ticket with Amazon, but I haven’t received a reply yet. Has anyone experienced a similar situation with this customer?

Spoken to a few other sellers who are all paying less than me when it comes to UPS partnered rates on amazon for inbound shipments wondering what others are paying for a 20-23kg Parcel atm, mine is £6.28 for a parcel that is 21.8kg & 40 x 60 x 50
