Hi all

About 18 months ago I signed up for an Amazon seller account on Amazon UK, at the time I was forced to register seller accounts in other Amazon marketplaces too.

Then my account get's deactivated because I was found to be 'associated with other accounts'.

I have send umpteen messages to support, and send 'submissions' but it seems like every answer I get is from a bot.

There seems not be no way to actually contact a human at Amazon support.

Any suggestions as to what I can try?

They have already checked my address which they have accepted. before they asked me for a bank statement which I supplied, I even got it stamped at my bank. Why is a bank statement and the fact that I am on the electoral roll not sufficient evidence to prove I live at an address?

I do not have a mobile phone contract, neither do i have a rental agreement

you would be better off with eBay if you are not here as a business. You can only sell used goods as an individual.

Amazon are legally required to check your info and for that they need to verify you and your address. Some have said they will accept a mobile phone bill in your name and address but they haven’t come back to say if that worked. Maybe try submitting your rental agreement?

Amazon Compliance HELP needed

Hi

Hopefully someone from Amazon can help here. I have had a compliance complaint related to selling a non-genuine item (which is completely untrue and obviously from a competitor). i have supplied all the relevent information invoices matching sales volume, letter from supplier, supplier contact details etc...

i then get a message back saying they have been unable to validate the information! Obviously it would be helpful to know specifically what is missing. I have phoned and a huge language barrier on the support meant i am no wiser! Can someone from Amazon please get in touch with me to help me get a resolution here?

Some people might think that some of these megasellers are selling on the addresses and telephone numbers of their customers even if that is illegal. I couldn't possibly comment!!

Not exactly, but most of the top 15 Amazon sellers are currently used media sellers:

Edit - (depending on the space you have available, i found it can be okay to list alongside them at your own price - there are buyers who prefer not to deal with them / buy from a seller with photos and an actual description)

I thought it had settled down but I have loads of messages today.

I know there are some issues with Royal Mail but some of these requests go back 1 or 2 months so probably chancers trying it on as Amazon says the item is lost.

I personally don't think it is going to stop...

I know this is not new news, but I feel the need to keep posting until Amazon do something about it. It is costing me thousands of pounts and bringing out the worst in some people by claiming non-delivery when I suspect it has been delivered. I will never know for sure, but I have strong suspicions based on the timings of the messages and the fact many back down when I point out Amazon's/Royal Mail's broken tracking system. All driven by approx. 20% of Royal Mail 24/48 deliveries not being scanned on delivery.

AMAZON team - I am sure you will point me to another thread where you will say it is being dealt with from there, but clearly it is not being dealt with. This fix would take someone 10minutes. It's really poor and I wonder if some day if/when the press get hold of this if Amazon will look to compensate sellers for the loss of profit.

Amazon is scamming sellers by refunding customers even if they have not asked for a refund

I have collected evidence from multiple customers who have been given a refund, without any reason and without the customer even asking for a refund! This is another scam that Amazon is running.

Who else has had this experience?

A legal class action needs to be initiated against Amazon for this scam.

Once C&D marks the Amazon orders as despatched, it also enters the tracking ref and service used to the order. After that, it’s no different to any other order that you may have marked as despatched yourself.

Be aware that C&D marks the order as despatched using service “Std UK Dom_1”. That is ok.
