Hello, I am facing a serious issue with my Amazon Seller accounts and need urgent help.My original account was running fine, but Amazon temporarily deactivated it due to some “pending” orders and requested proof of delivery.

I explained that I had zero orders for over 12 months because I had downgraded my plan and was not selling during that time. Amazon reactivated the account within one day.However, the next day my US marketplace was completely removed without any option to appeal or contact support. All other marketplaces (UK, etc.) remained active.

I spent 3 months opening cases via the UK marketplace and provided all requested proofs, but the issue was never resolved and support eventually stopped responding. I still have proof of the original US marketplace removal.Because the US marketplace was deleted and I only sell in the US, I applied to close the old account to create a new one.

However, despite trying 8 times, the closure never completes. Amazon keeps saying my “appeal of deactivation” is under review, but nothing progresses.When I created a new account, it was also deactivated for multiple accounts, and Amazon says I must either prove the accounts are not mine or reactivate the old one—which is impossible since both accounts are deactivated for the same reason.

I have already paid the $40 fee. Support has been unhelpful (copy-paste responses, no callback from “Call Me,” and no replies amazon email). The US marketplace is fully removed, so I cannot even sign in to appeal.

I respectfully request one of the following: Permanently delete my old account so I can proceed with this one, orAllow me to appeal again on the old account—I have all evidence and am ready to provide any information required.This delay has already caused significant loss, and the forums are my last option. Please have a human review my case and help me resolve this. Thank you.

I am looking for guidance or escalation regarding an FBA inventory loss caused by an incorrect Dangerous Goods classification.

Timeline:

Our product was classified by Amazon as Dangerous Goods – Non-Fulfillable.

At that time, 10 units were already in FBA stock and were removed from sale.

40 units were inbound and in the process of being received at the fulfillment center.

We provided all required documentation (SDS, compliance documents).

The product remained classified as Dangerous / Non-Fulfillable, so we submitted an appeal.

The appeal was approved, and the classification was officially overturned. The product was confirmed as fulfillable.

However:

The 10 units in stock were returned to us, despite the appeal being approved.

The 40 inbound units were destroyed while the appeal was under review.

Seller Support has now confirmed in writing that no reimbursement will be provided, stating that the disposal was policy-compliant based on the classification active at the time.

Our concern:

The destruction of the inbound inventory occurred solely due to a classification that Amazon later confirmed was incorrect. While the action may have followed the temporary system status, the root cause was an Amazon classification error that resulted in irreversible inventory loss.

We are not requesting a policy exception.

We are requesting a review of this case as inventory destroyed in error due to an incorrect Dangerous Goods classification, which was later overturned by Amazon itself.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone here (or a moderator) can help or advise.

Amazon has asked me to verify my business information and the identity of business owners within 60 days. I am now around 40 days into that deadline. My understanding is that if I fail to complete this verification, Amazon may freeze my account and potentially dispose of my inventory.

I have prepared all the required documentation and am ready to submit. However, I am unable to complete the verification because the system will not allow me to edit or update certain required fields. Specifically:

The company registration country field is blacked out

The business address country field is also blacked out

Because of this, I cannot submit the verification form.

I opened a support case in mid-January. Seller Support has acknowledged that this appears to be a system error on Amazon’s side and advised that they are investigating. Unfortunately, it has now been over two weeks with no resolution, and my verification deadline is getting closer.

My concerns are:

How can I request an extension to the verification deadline given that this is a technical issue outside of my control?

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with locked verification fields, and if so, how was it resolved?

Is there a way to escalate this issue to the correct internal team before enforcement action is taken on my account?

I am fully willing and ready to provide all required documentation, but currently have no way to submit it.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I got 30 days extention with ANR/3 and proof of submission. I tried 3 times and 3rd time finally they approved the extention.

I am not really sure if this timeframe will be sufficient to get back the VAT # in Italy.

hopefully we all will.

we have now around 35-40 days ..

time is ticking...

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can provide some additional context. If the brand is enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, you will need approval from the trademark owner, manufacturer (if they are different) or a distributor that is authorized.

You can find all of this and a bit more on the Apply to sell a product, category, or brand Seller University video (brand stuff starts at the 3:40 mark in the video).

Dougal from the Community Manager Team here and thanks for providing the case ID's. The "Invoices" your provided are receipts from an online store. In order to obtain approval to sell the brands in those cases you will need your invoice needs from the manufacturer or a distributor. Please reference the Apply to sell a product, category, or brand seller university video (Brand application starts at the 3:40 mark on the video).

You have other options to obtain approval to sell these brands:

  • Provide a Letter of Authorisation from the brand (the linked help page has the format and requirements needed for the approval)
  • Have your contact at the brand connect with the brands Amazon Brand Registry Administrator and request they add your selling account as an authorized reseller for their brand. Please note this is completed by the administrator of the brand (from the brand itself) and not Amazon. If needed, they can follow the process provided on the Brand Registry selling roles help page for step by step instructions.

Planted by amazon buyers are getting free products in reward and amazon have 40% of your sales on the name of ppc,fee,fba fee. other fee and many other fee.

last 15 years people did never understood amazon but now many people already know and remaining we will do our best .

I have been trying to change the legal entity since November 2025 and Amazon have continually been unable to facilitate this request. Our store has been down for 2 months and I have made numerous cases but no-one at Amazon seems able to understand the issue and resolve it. I have just had another email giving me the supposed solution, which I have already had at least twice before and which doesn't work and which I responded to say it didn't work. This last email provided the same solution and surprise surprise it still doesn't work. The customer service from Amazon is the worst I have experienced to over 40 years being in business and they should be ashamed of their poor performance and response.

Hello Amazon Seller Support / Moderator team,

I urgently need help reactivating my products before they are automatically destroyed due to stranded inventory.

Background

My account was temporarily restricted due to a missing VAT registration.

That issue is now fully resolved, my VAT has been approved, and my seller account is active and compliant again.

However, during the VAT issue, my offers were removed and are now marked inactive with the following message:

> “Offer was removed 40 days ago

> Review metrics to address fulfilment performance

> Reason: Current performance does not meet Amazon's Self Fulfilment standards.”

This message is misleading in my case.

The removal was not caused by fulfilment performance, but solely by the temporary VAT-related account restriction, which prevented my account from meeting FBA / fulfilment requirements at that time.

Now that the VAT issue is resolved:

- My account is approved and active

- There are no fulfilment or performance issues

- Inventory is already in Amazon fulfilment centers

- Products are at risk of auto-destruction due to stranded status

Unfortunately, I am being redirected between departments (VAT → Performance → FBA → Listings) without anyone taking ownership of reactivating the ASINs.

You're not going to get anywhere. I have around 40 SKU's with requests for compliance telling me to send them off for testing. I buy wholesale clearance and it's now a minefield.

Sell out and list elsewhere. Amazon doesnt want older toys & games anymore.
