Unfortunately Amazon no longer allow the seller to submit the documents and you have to go through the testing route via Amazon and not via the Manufacturers. Its a completely ridiculous new policy and can cost 300-500 PER ITEM.
I dont know what Amazon are thinking doing it this way, but its very likely another greedy cash grab and they get commision from each of their 'trusted testors'.
Hi Everyone,
From 23rd of December I noticed our sales had reduced from 500 units a day to 40 units a day. I thought it may be due to Christmas holidays. When I checked all ASINs , we have lost all Buy box for all active listings. Despite we offer prime and despite we are cheaper then other sellers, I just spoke to seller support and been told my account is not eligible for buybox. Its a temporary technical issue.
I have seen other similar threads. How long did it take to get fixed as we are loosing significant sales everyday
Thanks

I am a new Brand Owner reaching out for urgent assistance. My listing has a critical error: the item_package_quantity (IPQ) is incorrectly set to 4 in the creation process, but the product is a single gift box (IPQ 1).
With 500 units currently being checked into FBA, Amazon will ship 4 product for the price of 1, which will result in a total loss of inventory and capital. I closed the listing today for obvious reasons.
I have made multiple attempts to update this attribute via the 'Manage Inventory' tool and Flat File uploads, but the changes will not save. Seller Support has also attempted to manually push the update from their end, but they were unsuccessful as well.
Account & Case Details
The Issue: Support provides automated replies stating the IPQ attribute is "static." Since there is no sales history or "customer perception" of this ASIN yet, there is no logical reason this cannot be corrected to reflect the physical reality of the product.
Inventory Status: 500 units (25 master cartons) arrived at FBA on Dec 13th. Each unit is factory-labeled with a unique barcode intended for a single sale.
Questions for Moderators & Catalog Specialists
I am at a loss and am requesting a human review of this case to prevent a catastrophic loss. I would appreciate any clarification or guidance. I cannot afford this loss, and the situation is causing me significant distress.

I’m reaching out to the community because I’m honestly at a loss and don't know what to do anymore. I’m a new seller and I feel like I’m about to lose my entire investment before even starting.
I am the Brand Owner, the catalog has an error: it says the 'item_package_quantity' is 4, but it’s actually 1 (a single gift box). I have 500 units currently being checked into FBA, and I am terrified that Amazon will ship 4 boxes for the price of 1, which would bankrupt my small business.
I’ve opened 5 cases (IDs: 11797052992, 11797503602, 11800891432, 11796658902, 11801271682) but I only get automated replies saying the attribute is 'static' and cannot be changed.
I am considering these options and would love your advice:
I’ve kept the listing Closed because I’m scared to sell. If any Community Manager or experienced seller could guide me on how to fix this without losing my 500 units, I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you for your kindness and help.
Same for me @Seller_u2PSbhNx5UhwB
I have over 500+ units showing as available for my ASINs and showing post Xmas...
The same thing happened to me a long time ago. Despite selling hundreds of an item with no complaints, one customer complained fake and so began a long process or proving my innocence. Despite me sending invoices from the manufacturer and a letter of authority from them to sell the item I was getting nowhere with constant repeats from Amazon that they could not verify the information. They never once actually made contact with the manufacturer as I asked them.
However, in the end it all came down to something else entirely. Amazon had asked for 12 months invoices as proof I was only buying from the authorised manufacturer. They totalled up how many units I had sold in the 12 months and expected the invoice amounts to tally.
For example (not exact figures) Amazon said I had sold 500 units over the 12 months but the invoices only accounted for 400 units - so they 'assumed' I had sourced 100 units from somewhere else (and presumably from an unauthorised source). I pointed out I needed stock BEFORE I listed on Amazon and if they allowed me to send an invoice from 13 months ago they would now see there was another 200 units on that invoice so I had bought 600 units over a 13 month period and sold 500.
It took a long time for Amazon to even admit that the invoice discrepancy was causing the issue and nothing to do with verification of authenticity and even then it took several appeals before they suddenly capitulated (with no apology) and unblocked the listing.
So my advice is to check if the invoices that you sent to Amazon show units bought matches with units sold.
Thanks, @Seller_KlbXZHzQGSDZv
The shipment arrived at the Amazon warehouse on Saturday 13 of December and has been processing from Sunday through today. However, the full inventory is still not showing as Available.
The shipment consisted of 25 master cartons, containing 20 product in each master box, 500 units in total. Each individual unit was already labeled with a unique barcode by the factory. Amazon did not perform any prep—everything was prepared by the supplier.
I am trying to escalate case ID: 11902233002, but I keep receiving the same response every time. I know of other sellers who experienced similar situations where the inventory was eventually updated correctly.
If this cannot be resolved, I honestly don’t know what to do next. This issue is seriously affecting my business—and me personally. I am a new seller, and this situation is becoming overwhelming.
Does anyone have advice on what the best solution would be in this situation?
How can I escalate this case further within Amazon?
Can the item_package_quantity be updated? I know some seller were able to do so.
I’m tagging the moderators again for visibility:

Hi @Seller_exWMdCdbEu167,
Here is the information I am able to find on this, as a member of the Forums team:
Declared Value in Buy Shipping
Amazon Buy Shipping allows sellers to set preferences for declared value coverage in the "Delivery preferences" section of Seller Central. Sellers can configure their preferences to :
Important Clarifications
What declared value does: The declared value setting in Buy Shipping tells the system what value to declare for the package. This impacts how much the carrier's standard liability coverage applies to the shipment.
What it does NOT do: Based on the internal documentation, the declared value setting in Amazon Buy Shipping does not appear to be the same as purchasing additional "Full Protection" or "Enhanced Compensation" insurance that you might buy directly from carriers like Royal Mail or Evri.
The declared value primarily:
Carrier-Specific Coverage
The actual compensation limits and coverage depend on the specific carrier selected through Buy Shipping. Each carrier has their own:
If you require more information on this, I recommend that you open a case with Seller Support. If the answer provided there is not sufficient, you can let us know with the case ID and we can escalate internally to make sure it reaches the appropriate team that will be able to give you final answers on this.
