No problem, glad things are working out for you. I'm down to about 30 listings left from a peak of about 300. I imagine with continuing appeals those last 30 will get sorted, or at least most of them.

Not a peep from Amazon about this whole debacle, no surprises there.

Had an email this morning stating our account has a 30 day hold put on it so we cant disburse whilst they check delivery of seller fulfilled orders! We buy all our post using amazon buy shipping. Spoke to amazon rep and he said its nothing to do with an account health or violation we have just been selected randomly!! I said we buy all our post using buy shipping as we are meant to be protected from this sort of thing. He said send a picture of the amazon buy shipping labels and invoice. I said the buy shipping is automatically taken from the order cost! He seemed to not heave a clue. All our stats are on 0% with all order dispatched on time and we send 1000s per week and no account issues. And now this is our peak season our funds will be put on hold which will definitely make us go bust. 30 days without funds!! can anyone give me any advice as to what to do. He said I can appeal and send pics of the buy shipping labels? Does that sound right?

1 day dispatch
by Seller_d8YGbIjNqwFxn

As you probably know I sell the same type of products as you. I am different though in that I offer same day despatch if brought before 16:30. My On Time Delivery rate is currently 98%.

Here is how I do it. I use Royal Mail for all my items. I use SSA for my shipping templates. Letter and Large Letter post is brought through Amazon which has no impact on my OTDR if delivered late.

Tracked post is brought through Click and Drop. I no longer used tracked 48 on Amazon as this is not always delivered on time and impacts my OTDR. I now only used tracked 24 for Amazon items.

Amazon do need to do some work on 2nd class post with the new delivery model Royal Mail are rolling out. However many issues are with Royal Mail who constantly don't deliver within their delivery aim for 2nd class post.

Have you run your defect report to find out which items were delivered late and how they were sent?

We're looking for some advice from other sellers.

We've had around 30 orders placed by the same buyer, with deliveries going to multiple different addresses. All of the orders show as delivered with carrier delivery scans.

Over the past 10 days or so, the buyer has started opening A-to-Z Guarantee claims on these orders, claiming they have not received the items.

The confusing part is that Amazon's handling has been inconsistent:

- On some claims, Amazon has granted the claim but funded it themselves, so our account wasn't debited and no Order Defect Rate (ODR) defect was applied.

- On other claims, Amazon has granted the claim and debited our account, despite the orders also showing as delivered.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

We've already appealed the seller-funded claims with proof of delivery, but we're also concerned this appears to be a pattern of potential abuse given the volume of orders, multiple delivery addresses, and repeated INR claims.

Is there a specific team or process to report suspected buyer abuse, or any other steps you'd recommend taking in this situation?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Outstanding Ammount

Hello,

I have never used this account before, and it was inactive for a while. Can somebody please explain why I have a Outstanding Amount of £30?

I am clearly being scammed. My account was inactive and as an individual account since I have never sold anything.

Has anyone encountered the same issue before?

Thank you.

Outstanding Ammount

Hello Michelle,

This is genuinely frustrating, and I need to be clear: I reactivated the service myself last monday, so there is no ambiguity here. The charge was taken this July 2026, this year, not last year, and I have found it increasingly difficult to accept that this keeps being denied.

I have screenshots showing the transaction going directly to your seller platform, specifically labelled as an Amazon Seller Fee — not any other Amazon charge or purchase.

I would appreciate a more professional response than a flat denial of a charge that is clearly documented. I had a case open on this issue, and it has now been transferred in a way that makes it unavailable for me to check or reference. I don't know whether that was intentional, but the effect is that I've lost access to a documented history of my own complaint, which is unacceptable.

To be clear, I have not lost anything on my end. I have screenshots of everything, including the bank transaction, Amazon Seller Transaction and the exact conversation with Sasapu, in which she confirmed seeing the charge come through live from my bank account. So there is no version of this where the charge "didn't happen" this year: 21st JULY 2026.

I expect the full case history to be restored or provided to me, and I expect this charge to be properly investigated rather than passed along again. This has been handled unprofessionally so far, and I'd like it resolved without further delay.

At this point, I have to say plainly: this looks like my £30 is simply being withheld, and it reflects very poorly on your team's handling of a documented issue. I expect this to be investigated properly and resolved, not passed along or dismissed again.

Hello Sellers,

Receiving an A-to-Z Guarantee claim notification can feel stressful — but understanding the process before you respond puts you in the strongest position. Here's what happens when a claim is filed on the UK marketplace and how to handle it effectively.

Why this matters for your business

An unresolved A-to-Z claim can result in a debit to your account and an increase to your Order Defect Rate (ODR). Responding with the right evidence, within the right timeframe, gives you the best chance of a favourable outcome.

What happens when a claim is filed

  • You'll receive an email notification and an alert in your Seller Central Performance Notifcations
  • You have a limited window to respond — typically 3 business days
  • If you don't respond in time, the claim may be automatically granted in the customer's favour

Before you respond — do this first

  1. Review the order details — Check shipping confirmation, tracking, and estimated delivery dates
  2. Check Buyer-Seller Messages — Review the full communication history with the customer
  3. Gather your evidence — Proof of delivery (with signature if available), tracking showing delivery attempted within the estimated window, return request responses, and any relevant correspondence
  4. Note the response deadline — If you need to attach documents, send them via Buyer-Seller Messages and reference them in your claim response (the response box doesn't support attachments)

Best practices to protect your account

  • Always ship with a trackable method and confirm dispatch promptly
  • Respond to return requests within 48 hours
  • Provide a domestic return address or prepaid return label when approving returns
  • Keep product descriptions accurate to reduce "not as described" claims

If the claim is granted against you

You have 30 calendar days to appeal the decision. Provide any new evidence that wasn't previously considered. It can take up to 7 calendar days for an ODR reversal to reflect on your account.

Have you dealt with an A-to-Z claim recently? What documentation did you find most helpful in your response?

Share your experiences below.

We’re updating our Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM) requirements for Amazon.co.uk to help increase your conversion with more accurate delivery promises, ensure timely deliveries for business customers and facilitate smooth customs clearance.

Deliver reliably to Amazon Business customers during their operating hours

To ensure secure delivery and fewer delivery reattempts, we expect that you maintain a business hour delivery rate of 90% or higher starting on 30 September 2026. This metric measures the percentage of FBM shipments delivered to Amazon Business customers within their hours of operation. From 30 October, if your performance remains below the requirement set out in the policy, non-compliant listings may be deactivated for business customers. To review your business hour delivery rate, go to the Account Health Dashboard. For more information, go to the Business Hour Delivery Rate FAQ

Improve your delivery promise with more accurate handling time

In our UK store, 90% of FBM orders already dispatch within a one-day handling time. Reflecting this, starting on 15 July 2026, the account-level default handling time will only display 0-day and 1-day options. If your account-level handling time is set to 2-days, it will automatically change to 1-day (you can still set a longer handling time per SKU). Starting on 1 September 2026, if an SKU’s handling time is one or more days longer than your actual performance for more than 30 days, we’ll enable Automated Handling Time for those SKUs to make it easy for you to offer faster delivery promises that reflect your actual performance. To learn how to monitor your SKU-level handling time, go to Modify Handling Time.

Ensure seamless delivery for cross-border shipments

To ensure customs clearance, you must comply with new EU Customs Reform regulations for shipments originating from outside the EU delivered to an EU address, starting on 1 July. For shipments under €150 imported under Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS), select an approved courier authorised to provide correct customs documentation, supply your courier with Amazon’s IOSS number and ASIN details for each product. For more information, go to Changes to programme policies.

Note: If your business hour delivery rate is below the requirement, we’ll notify you with recommendations on how to improve. We recommend that you use reliable couriers and set accurate handling and transit times. You can also enable Automated Handling Time, Shipping Settings Automation and Amazon Buy Shipping – orders fulfilled using all three tools will not count towards the business hour delivery rate requirement.

To view these changes, go to Changes to programme policies or view policy highlighting changes to the Order Performance programme policy (available in English only).

Amazon's preferred partner RXO has lost my pallet worth thousands of pounds and I am getting silence from Amazon. My case 11523267782 for reimbursement from Amazon is listed as 'work in progress' but I have heard nothing from Amazon for 4 months, despite chasing. The whole thing has been going on since 3 August 2025.

The initial Amazon case I created re this was on 2 September - case 11477159212 - about tracking the lost parcel. I was asked for a bill of lading but RXO said they don't have these as part of their process with Amazon. The case was closed because I couldn't provide the appropriate documentation(!!) and I waited to see if the pallet was located.

On 30 September RXO confirmed they lost the pallet and that I should raise a case with Amazon. They said they had also raised a case - 11517626382.

The last contact I had from Amazon was on 30 March 2026 asking for invoices to support the lost items, which I sent on 1 April but have had no response n that case since. I have tried to create a case on seller central to escalate this or ask the team looking at it to respond. This has worked once but mostly I get told it is 'merged' into case 11523267782 and then nothing.

I don't know what to do. This is thousands of pounds. I have provided Amazon everything they have asked for and I just get no response at all. I am tagging as many Amazon team as possible in the hopes that someone can help me. I don't know what else to do. This is a lot of money for me. Please help. I would be so so grateful
