Hello, my shipment of 98 bulbs worth about 9k pounds was delivered to the Amazon warehouse on April 7 and since then no activity, I opened a case that I missing my goods and got this response:

but there is nothing specific that I should do and no evidence provided like photos that something is wrong, the Philips Hue bulbs all have original SKUs so I dare say that the Amazon warehouse covered up my shipment and is trying to hide

Red 'Frequently Returned' Banner destroying Sales

Hi There,

Has anyone else been the victims of this brainless decision by Amazon to start putting red 'Frequently Returned' banners on product pages?

A banner has appeared on one of my listings for a pair of sunglasses that have been on sale for over 15 years, with an excellent record of customer satisfaction and feedback. Unfortunately for me, 'poor fit' is a frequently used excuse by customers when they want to return something without having to pay the return postage - also, this particular product is ideal for skiing, so you get some customers who buy them, go on their ski holiday and then return the glasses for a refund so they've effectively 'borrowed' them for free.

My sales of this leading item in my range have tanked, going from around 60 units a month to three.

Is anyone else a victim of this? What can we do about it? if these banners start turning up on my other leading products it could totally ruin my business.

Typical Amazon isn't it, you get a bunch of overpaid young executives who haven't got the first clue what sort of impact these things have on people's livelihoods, sitting around some posh table in a glass-walled air conditioned office coming up with this dross in order to justify their jobs. It makes me seethe.

I'd be interested to know the thoughts of others suffering this cancer.

Recently, for the first time in 8 years our account has gone into a negative balance.

We've noticed huge 'other' charges being taken out of our account with no detail or explanation.

We asked amazon for clarification on what these charges were, but they said due to confidentiality they could not say?

Why does Amazon allow such incompetence?

Hi Julia, thanks for trying to help, however after 10 years of doing this, having account managers and hundreds of interactions with seller support and account health, I know that with the best will in the World nothing will change, it is simply the way it is and no amount of investigation and escalation will ever resolve the issues.

Until a root and branch review of the Amazon catalogue is undertaken and the role of the catalogue team is investigated and their unwillingness to engage with any department in Amazon, let alone the actual seller, nothing will change, the current policy in place means that NO incorrect listing can be amended.

One day someone will realise that millions are being lost, revenue is not going to be as plentiful in the coming months thanks to tariffs and World disorder, so maybe someone in Amazon will look at the 'low hanging fruit' to increase revenue and margin and investigate why the people that have been responsible for it are not doing it and making any improvement impossible.

Weirdly for me I had strong ad impressions, strong CTR but no conversions. That makes me think the numbers Amazon reported to me were wrong. To average a 15% conversion rate then drop to zero with hundreds of clicks is more than strange.

I have only had 1 sale in 2 days. I am not a big seller, this is a side line for me. But I normally do between 5-10 unts a day. Like everyone else, no account health issues so no obvious reason for the sales drop.

They are in fact all branded but i suspect due to all the hoops you have to jump through the writer of these lisitings listed them as generic. But in answer to your question they are generic but that still doesnt allow a new listing to be created with the same product and EAN as amazon refuse this

Ive been writing listings for 10 years and past 12 months or so its been a nightmare.

Products not showing on searches

Hi, we are attempting to sell 3D printed items, this is a trial shop, we have put for sale around 10 simple basic products like home decor using FBA to test the market. The items are for sale for more than a month, we can't find any using the amazon search tools, not even when you nearly replicate the whole title. During a basic search, the Amazon algorithm shows items that have much less relation to the search request than with our item title and purpose, basically the search is suppressing our products for some reason.

Key points:

• During basic searches, the items can’t be found on the search results pages.

• Very likely the products are never seen by any possible buyer.

• 1 whole month has passed with zero income, and the way things are set it is likely that we will never sell anything, however we will have to pay FBA storage.

• The titles and descriptions were made professionally and there is not much different from other similar items that show well in searches, except pictures.

Any idea about what is going on?

hi everyone,

I have been selling on Amazon since May 2024, and in that time have maintained relatively consistent sales.

All of my products are shipped via FBA,

Recently Amazon have been increasing my reserve amount every single month, now to the point there is over 6k in reserve, I have contacted Amazon over 15 times in the last 2 months and have had 0 conclusion just the same automated response.

Has anyone else had this? I have no account health issues, no A-Z claims, no open charge backs so no idea why Amazon will not pay out,

This money is from over 3 months of sales so there is no reason for them to keep it it has all cleared and they just keep increasing the reserve,

Hope someone can help!
