Hello,

We have GPSR Certificate and also have Responsible person contact details. Now we have filled details in listing which were showing in compliance. But all the listing are still showing in compliances. it is not removed from compliances even after 10 days of filling manufacturer and responsible person contact details. It is showing green tick or approved from Amazon but still showing in compliances. What should we have to do. Please guide us. Our 2600 Listings are at the risk of removal overnight. Please suggest.

I agree with everything you said...Amazon (for all their might & clout) have made the implementation of this a total nightmare...their interface sucks beyond belief (stuff showing 'Authorised'...yet still in the 'at threat' in their dedicated screen etc!)

I bit the bullet and manually clicked on my 170 ASIN x 7 EU sites! (worse still, multiplied by 3 in some instances ....'Mfr contact' then 'RP contact' & finally the Safety doc; (where required) ...that's about 2,500 clicks/edits/submissions for a mere 160 ASINs that I sell!)

Even though I did this a week ago for most, about 40 ASINs are still showing 'at threat' ...laughabale really.

Everyone is in the same boat, Amazon have completely messed this up and the pages are a total disaster, who thought that Brexit would actually have an advantage here. If you sell on 7 EU sites with 2,500 listings then you will have to edit 2,500 items per site individually, then when you have submitted an entry it does not move and stays where it was so you have no idea what you have and have not done.

Come 13th December if Amazon carry out their threat to remove all listings without the full responsible person details and the manufacturer details and the compliance documents, then there will be millions of listings removed.

The EU themselves know nothing about this, we asked 4 MEP's to comment and they knew nothing about it.

If you were to submit every entry that Amazon requires, for 2,500 listings on each site it would take conservatively about 6 months to complete, there is no bulk upload and no help available, ASIN's are randomly listed, brands are assigned to the wrong items and ASIN's are asking for information that does not exist.

Bearing in mind that from 13th December EVERY item you sell must have the responsible person details with their contact name and address and email in the language of the country you are selling in attached to the product.

Most sellers like me have decided that we will no longer sell in Europe and I am EU based, this is a thankless task that cannot be completed and Amazon are no help whatsoever, when you bear in mind that this legislation was actually passed into law in May 2023 and in force from 13th December, Amazon have done nothing to assist sellers and keep promising a site that will work and with 7 days to go it is a shambles.

Finally, these issues should never be down to the seller in the first place, it should be the manufacturers responsibility to, label the products and sellers should not have to do this especially at the busiest time of the year.

The only satisfaction that will come from this is when senior management in Amazon ask where 30% of the sales have gone overnight and these teams upon teams of people will have to answer the question.

Hi Everyone,

We are reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue and to request immediate assistance from Amazon moderators or experienced sellers.

Recently, a serious pricing glitch occurred on one our listing, reducing the price from €44.90 to €10. This error was not initiated by us and we are still investigating with Amazon how this could have happened.

We sold around 170 generating sales of only €1,688.57 instead of the expected €7,588.10 if these were sold at the correct price. This has resulted in a loss of €5,900 for our business.

To make matters worse, the listing is now out of stock during peak sales periods, adding to our losses.

We have contacted Amazon Selling Partner Support, and while they have acknowledged the issue and promised to investigate, they stated it could take 36 hours or more to proceed. Meanwhile, orders cannot be canceled.

We have requested Amazon to:

- Cancel all affected orders and restore the inventory.

- Refund the price difference for shipped orders.

- Compensate us for the opportunity costs and losses incurred.

We are shocked at the lack of safeguards in place to prevent such errors and the delay in resolving this matter. This issue has severely impacted our trust in Amazon’s platform, and we believe it’s important to alert other sellers to such risks.

If any moderators or experienced sellers have insights or advice on how to escalate this matter and ensure a timely resolution, we would greatly appreciate your help.

Once again amazon has decided to remeasure one of my products in the middle of sales. Nothing had changed, all the same batch with the exact same packaging which measure well under 2cm in height. It is literally impossible even with air in the bag for these products to be over 2cm (bags have air holes), amazon came back with 3.5cm. Except this time they've done it during the Christmas period so the products were selling out extremely fast, I asked them to remeasure which they did and returned 3.5cm again. I told them this is impossible showing photos and asked them to do it again, they made me wait until the product was completely out of stock so they could send me "There is no measureable stock". They've taken so much money from my sales now and want me to send another batch. Is it even wise to resend more to them? Will they just claim they are the same and continue to take money from me?

1. Do i need to register for VAT in account settings?

2. I have had an order come through from a business customer asking for an invoice to be uploaded, but i don't know where i'd find it?

does gpsr apply to ireland?

I've reluctantly turned off my eu sites until I can find cheap responsible people for the listings. Does anyone know cheap responsible persons for each eu country? Does gpsr definately apply to ireland too? Will be a a large drop in earnings for many small businesses and have a knock on effect in the uk in general. Up to now the costs for responsible persons does not seem feasible.

I had a similar problem (on a much smaller scale). I ended up writing to the MD's office but they refused to understand the issue.

In the end they just sent an email saying we are right and we are not prepared to discuss it any further. I ended up taking a big loss.
