VTR issues
by Seller_UdCB3aWxjRwo9

apparently there’s a 5-10 minute lag of RM uploading the numbers from integrated click and drop. The rest of us who don’t have it integrated manually input tracking numbers so it’s not a RM issue. It’s Amazon.

With our premium delivery orders we process these in a different way and the tracking is uploaded before we hit despatch. None of these are affected or on the defect report.

Amazon is locking in the tracking at the time of despatch and not fetching data after this like they usually do.

Hey everyone, I'd appreciate in some help from some mods or help tagging them as i have had a lot of issues with this

I have one listing that has been deactivated three times in the past 30 days for pricing health. Every single time, I submitted proof that my pricing is compliant, Amazon agreed and reinstated it — and then the exact same automated flag triggered again. Same listing, same reason, three times.

Each reinstatement takes 5 days. That's 5 days of zero sales, tanked ranking, and collapsed search visibility — three times over. 15+ days of damage in a single month caused entirely by what is clearly a bug in Amazon's own pricing algorithm, not anything I've done wrong.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm at my wit's end. I've raised a formal escalation but would really appreciate if a mod could look into this and get a senior case manager assigned. Happy to share case IDs privately.

This can't be right.

Hi @Manny_Amazon, I've shared the case ID above. To give you full context:

This is the fifth time in under a month that the same listing has been deactivated for pricing health. Every single time, I have provided proof of compliance, Amazon has reviewed it, confirmed my pricing is compliant, and reinstated the listing — only for the exact same automated flag to trigger again shortly after.

On 10 March, Amazon confirmed in writing that the underlying issue had been fixed and that no further deactivations would occur. The listing was deactivated again within 48 hours. It has since been deactivated again, making this the fifth occurrence.

I am the only seller on this listing — there is no competitor, no pricing dispute, nothing that has changed on my end. Amazon's own team has acknowledged this is a system error multiple times, yet the fix has never held.

Each deactivation takes around 5 days to resolve, causing serious damage to my sales rank and search visibility every time. The cumulative impact on this listing over the past month has been severe.

I have also submitted a report via the abuse form as advised by Seller Support, but the deactivations have continued. I would really appreciate your help escalating this to someone who can investigate the root cause permanently rather than just reinstating each time.

Thank you.

I discussed this with seller support, apparently I asked the decision is unfair however, they said that I cannot file SAFE-T claim due to the orders were FBA. No idea what they mean here however, this was what the support team told me. We are the reseller of the items, and customers are using it over more than 5-6 months and claim it was defective. Amazon issues returns specially for electronics category (smart watches, headsets etc). We check the items and they are all used & damaged. Customers are manipulating here but still figuring out how Amazon issues refunds for these items that claims 100% false as defective item will be noticed within a month. What can I do now for these orders?

Here we go again, 5 products this morning that contain errors in the Amazon listing, this time it is a Sheaffer pen,it says rollerball in the title and the image is a ballpoint, Amazon refuse to accept the evidence that the title is wrong and roll out the same old story that 'only the person who created the listing can amend it' so no matter what appears in the listing it stays the same, it could be a picture of a bra and they would still refuse to do anything about it.

The only reason that I am posting this is for me to keep a record of it, so far I have a list of over 300 products that contain serious errors, either wrong colour, wrong description, wrong image and it is not only third party listings, there are many Amazon listings that are also incorrect and that is why their returns are so high, the warehouses are bursting with returns and they actively promote the sales of full cheap returns pallets for sale of items that have been returned because they were different to the listing.

A business that allows this to happen has serious issues and who knows what else is wrong in the business based on the performance and quality of the catalogue.

Buy shipping for prime
by Seller_zkvLtUzDB6RG5
Amazon replied

Do you have to use buy shipping for prime delivery or can I use my Royal Mail shipping platform even is connected to AmazonSeller

the reason is that for the 24 hour track service under 2 kg is cheaper because “buy shipping “is set for 5 kg and have mixed items sometimes 2 kg or 5 kg. Amazon only allows one setting

Would that affect my prime? Please help

Buy shipping for prime
by Seller_ZyGdB49sb7An4

Hello @Seller_zkvLtUzDB6RG5,

Thank you for reaching out with your question about Prime delivery shipping.

Can you use your Royal Mail shipping platform instead of Buy Shipping for Prime delivery?

Yes, you can use your own Royal Mail shipping platform even though it's connected to Amazon Seller. However, there are important considerations:

For Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP):

As of October 1, 2023, Amazon removed the requirement to use Amazon Buy Shipping services for Seller Fulfilled Prime orders. This means you now have more autonomy to use your own shipping services and carriers, including your Royal Mail platform.

Key Requirements:

While you're no longer required to use Buy Shipping, you must still meet these SFP performance requirements:

  • On-time delivery rate: 93.5% or higher
  • Valid tracking rate: 99% or higher (tracking must be from an Amazon-integrated carrier)
  • Seller-initiated cancellation rate: Less than 0.5%
  • Delivery speed requirements based on product size tier

About Your Weight Settings Concern:

Regarding the issue with Buy Shipping being "set for 5 kg" when you have mixed items (2 kg or 5 kg) - if you choose to use your own Royal Mail platform, you'll have full control over how you handle different weight tiers and can optimize costs based on your actual package weights.

Will This Affect Your Prime Badge?

No, using your own Royal Mail shipping platform will not affect your Prime status, as long as you:

  • Maintain the required performance metrics mentioned above
  • Ensure your carrier provides valid tracking that integrates with Amazon's system
  • Meet all delivery speed and on-time delivery requirements

🎨 Sell Your Designs with Merch on Demand
by Seller_khUF6HPR2AHxu

Hello sellers,

If you're a designer, artist, or creative entrepreneur, there's a way to sell on Amazon without ever managing stock, packaging, or shipping. It's called Merch on Demand, and it's worth knowing about.

____________________________________________________

What Is Merch on Demand?

Merch on Demand is Amazon's print-on-demand service. You upload your original artwork, choose a product type, set a list price, and Amazon handles the rest — printing, fulfilment, customer service, and returns. You earn a royalty on every item sold, with no upfront costs and no inventory to manage.

This makes it a particularly accessible option for sellers who want to test creative product ideas without financial risk.

How It Works

  1. Sign up — Use your existing Amazon selling account or create a new one
  2. Upload your artwork — Make sure it's original, high-resolution, and doesn't infringe on any existing trademarks or copyrights
  3. Choose your product and set your price — Select from available product types and set a list price that reflects your desired royalty
  4. Go live — Once reviewed and approved, your product will appear in the Amazon store
  5. Earn royalties — When a customer purchases your product, Amazon prints and ships it, and you receive your royalty

Understanding the Fees

In addition to standard Amazon selling fees, Merch on Demand products carry additional charges:

  • Merch Collab referral fee: 5% (across all product categories)
  • Brand royalty: 15% of the total sales price
  • Minimum brand royalty: £1.50 per sale

Amazon deducts these percentages from the total sales price (including the product price and any delivery or gift-wrapping charges, excluding taxes). For a full breakdown, visit the Amazon Merch on Demand Overview.

Why It's Worth Considering

  • No upfront investment or inventory risk
  • Amazon handles production, shipping, and customer service
  • Your designs can reach millions of customers in the Amazon UK store
  • Royalties are paid automatically — no invoicing or billing admin required
  • A low-risk way to test creative product ideas before committing to larger inventory

Amazon's insulting, meaningless procedures.
by Seller_KrJPN0qNSVTCt
Amazon replied

Having been a Marketplace Seller on Amazon for over a decade, I've just received my first ever A-Z claim. The item I dispatched had a delivery window of (quoting the Amazon order page) "Mon, 23 Feb 2026 GMT to Thu, 5 Mar 2026 GMT". At 08:43 on the morning of Monday 23rd Feb the buyer messaged me "never came refund me" - an order rather than a request. I replied asking that the buyer wait until 5 March to allow Royal Mail time to deliver, but received an A-Z claim the next day, which was forthwith granted by Amazon. I messaged Amazon, asking why they seem to have no respect for their own stated delivery parameters, only to get the usual meaningless rubbish back from them. I very much doubt that a reasonable person would demand a refund then launch an A-Z at the very start of Amazon's stated delivery window - this is a scammer. So, AMAZON REPRESENTATIVES OUT THERE, what have you got to say about the utter contempt in which the company holds both its marketplace sellers and its own advisory on deliveries? This item was not particularly high value, but this experience has nonethless left a sour taste.

I do with some books but when I research sold prices on there a lot of books arent profitable like they are on Amazon

How you finding selling books on eBay? Some people say Abes good as well. Il give eBay there dues when you have a problem you can actually speak to someone within 5 minutes over the phone and they always want to sort your issue and they generally do. Complete opposite to a certain other platform we know not naming names ha ha.

Since I posted this morning on the forum I’ve had another 3 books requiring approval. What Mods said other day about them being aware and working to improve it is a load of nonsense, they are slowly going through all the books catalogue and gating everything. It’s just another Fob off because we kept chasing them for a follow up.
