Prime Padded/Promise Extension
by Seller_TX7yhVegrfOrA

HI Glenn

I believe what ever software is used to track carrier performance is doing this to sellers even with good performance.

I made templates of different carrier's to see if there was any difference and all was +1.

Unless ALL UK carrier's are literally not meeting 92%+ which surely is impossible.

Since the new rules came in there's been so many glitches like premium removed when seller was 94% as the system or there account was thinking it was the old metrics. Not having premium reinstated with 100% OTDR and now this.

Tried reaching out and got copy and paste replies. Tried Managing director team and they sent my problem to a department that reactivates accounts.

Prime Padded/Promise Extension
by Seller_TX7yhVegrfOrA

Handling time all set to same day as we send everything next day. I can see alot of SFP sellers on a 1+ too. Seller help just says its all relating to the overall OTDR which is 92% but that's for the standard template not Prime.

VTR system broken again
by Seller_zDUw7ekrB6OEy

Below are our metrics for VTR and on time delivery. I can't work out why VTR is based on 15 shipments ( we send 15+ daily) and the OTD is based on 94 units. We no longer get warning emails regarding VTR.

Valid Tracking Rate 80% 12 of 15 shipments

On-Time Delivery Rate 97.87% 92 of 94 units

VTR issues again
by Seller_ZQyopdiwkUHOZ

Premium VTR is supposed to be 92% now. There seems to be some question as to whether they've configured this right though, as some sellers are finding their Premium Shipping is still being denied even after getting back to 100% or N/A for now shipments in window.

EDIT - it's OTDR that was reduced, not VTR.

I've had this in the past and it was a change of category that did it. Amazon sometimes does this for no apparent reason and it can be catastrophic for indexing and ranking. I would do the following:

- check each listing one at a time and check which sub category they are in

- check your BSR graph for each product. Has it suddenly shot up to a much higher number (reflecting a drop in rank)

- index check for all your main keywords. Are you still indexed

- use a keyword tracker to see if you have lost rank on your main keywords

- check the above for your competitors. Is it happening to everyone or just you?

Edit - I've just checked that first one and realise now that you are just one of several offers on the ASIN. Someone else has the buy box at the moment at the same price but price isn't the only factor. For example, you have a 92% seller rating whilst the current BB owner has 98%. That could be a factor. Also things like how much inventory do you have in the system, how well is it distributed and how well do you manage your inventory can affect the BB.

I had this issue and instead of raising a case with seller support, I emailed the VTR appeals address a 'plan of action':

op-pso-vtr-appeals@amazon.co.uk

The 'Plan of action' was an explanation that amazon policy changed the VTR rate from 97% to 92% and that I should be eligble for premium shipping. I didn't get a response but the issue was resolved on my account in a couple of days so that may be worth a try.

It used to be for both. It was sometime this year they changed it to 92%. At the same time they altered the length of the window it was measured across.

Since the change there've been some people posting that after their metrics have rolled around so that they should be eligible, they haven't been given the ability back to use it.

edit - here's a link to one thread

Premium delivery options not showing? FBM
by Seller_xU4h6ZbAduf0O

Whilst the rate shows 92% on the dashboard (due to rounding up)

Your actual figure is 91.97% which falls under the required 92%

298 on time orders divided by 324 total orders times 100 = 91.9753%

It looks like Amazon are using the actual mathematical figure to calculate your eligibility.
