Hello @Seller_XUNeUuvrQDpgP

Lost All buy box/ featured offer on 29th November on all listings. It's not a PL, other people are selling on the listings but i do not get to share the buy box even if keeping the lowest price by £10, all stock FBA. Everything was fine until Friday afternoon when charge back card needed to be changed and it seems that after this change I have lost all buy boxes.

If there is only me left on the listing the featured offer/ buy box disappears on the listing, if somebody else comes back with stock on the listing the buy box appears, but i do not get to share it. Our feature offer % went to 0 since 29 December. Please help!!!!!! so it looks like it's an account issue rather that featured offer problem on the listing.

Account is in good health, no performance notifications, all stock FBA. Opened sever cases, talked on the phone, chat and email with different seller supports but no help!

Why can't Amazon be more like Ebay or Etsy where listing is a breeze, none of this parent and child rubbish or spreadsheets with over 100 columns!

Surely a major overall is very much needed, I've given up trying to list new products as I haven't got the time to resubmit them time after time until all the bugs are fixed!

In the spirit of the giving season, we’re asking our Seller Forums members to share pearls of wisdom you’ve learned from other Amazon selling partners. Give the gift of knowledge this year and share your advice in Seller Forums for a chance to win 1 of 10 £100 Amazon gift cards! See Terms and Conditions.

Amazon EU Sàrl, 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, a Luxembourg entity (“Amazon”) is the promoter and prize provider of this competition. No purchase or payment required to enter or win. The promotion begins and ends on the dates and times specified in the linked announcement for the promotion (e.g., the post on Seller Forums, email, social media, and Seller Central). You must be a legal resident of the UK and 18 years of age or older to participate. Limit one entry per Seller Forums account. You must be an actively enrolled Amazon selling partner with a Seller Forums account. You may enter the promotion via one of the entry methods described. To participate, review the linked announcement for this promotion and follow the instructions to enter. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Our and our affiliates’ employees and their immediate family members, and associates enrolled in the Amazon Associates program are not eligible to participate.

Responses on this thread will be accepted until 9 December, 2024, at which point 10 respondents will be randomly drawn and awarded £100 in Amazon gift cards. We will notify the potential prize winners via their Seller Central account, and post the winner’s usernames on Forums. Potential winners will be notified as specified in the linked announcement for the promotion within 5 days of the end of the promotion, and once notified, you will have 72 hours to claim the prize. If the potential winner does not respond within 72 hours or if the potential winner is deemed ineligible prior to the prize being awarded, Amazon may, in its sole discretion, award the applicable prize to an alternate potential winner.

By entering the promotion, you agree that Amazon and its affiliates, the prize provider(s), and Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter, will have no liability, and will be held harmless from and against any liability or loss, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, for all matters related to your acceptance, possession, experience with, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the promotion. You also agree to a release of any claims to intellectual property or proprietary knowledge that you choose to include in your response or submission to the promotion.

By entering the promotion, you consent to your Amazon Seller Forums username being shared publicly if you are selected as a winner. If the prize is an Amazon Gift Card (“GC”), each winner must have or will need to create an Amazon.co.uk account in order to redeem the GC. The GC may only be used for purchases of eligible goods on Amazon.co.uk or certain of its affiliated websites. The GC cannot be redeemed for the purchase of another GC. Except as required by law, the GC cannot be transferred for value or redeemed for cash. To redeem or view a GC balance, visit “Your Account” on Amazon.co.uk.

Amazon is not responsible if any GC is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. If the GC is lost or stolen, it will not be replaced. The Amazon.co.uk Conditions of Use & Sale apply. See https://www.amazon.co.uk/gc-legal for complete terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in our discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law. No fees apply to Gift Cards. Gift Cards, including any unused Gift Card balances, expire ten years from the date of issuance.

Amazon misusing HFSS law
by Seller_pN85kOWeIZUbC
Amazon replied

Amazon has rejected advertising for some of our bestselling products on HFSS grounds.

However, under HFSS law, our listings are exempt from advertising restrictions because we’re a small specialist manufacturer and retailer with fewer than 50 employees. Essentially, these regulations are aimed at large retailers like Tesco's and not local corner shops.

So it would be understandable for HFSS laws to be applied to our products if Amazon is the retailer, however we have it in writing from Amazon that they view us as the retailer.

They said - "Even though the order is fulfilled by Amazon, the Amazon offer page will show 'sold by Your SERIOUS PIG' tag, which presents you as the retailer."

This admission from Amazon proves that the HFSS laws are being misapplied in our case, but despite this I am unable to talk to anyone willing to have a conversation about it. I just keep getting the same unhelpful copy paste answers.

This week I am sending multiple pallets of stock that were destined for FBA fulfilment centres to TikTok fulfilment centres instead. The rates are better there and they apply HFSS law properly. So i suggest any sellers in our position do the same until Amazon starts offering better support in these cases.

I have to be honest and say that in my SFP accont so far this has worked.

The process is that I get an email from Amazon telling me that the item has been refunded on the first scan. ( in truth this does not mean the item is actually in the carrier network) from that email I always open a Safe T claim and I am always told to wait 15 days for the item to be delivered. If after 15 days I dont have the item I reply to the Safe T claim message and to date I have been refunded for the deduction. I 'think' that the courier collected notice indicates that the label has been made rather than scanned. However that will not prevent Amazon crediting the buyer. I have also had cases where Amazon have credited the buyer without a retun being opened....lord knows how the systerm allows that but it does, even in these cases once I open a Safe T claim and wait 15 days I get refunded. It is 100% a pain in the rear but I have been on the right side of it so far. As we all know that could change at any point!!

Advertising charges discrepancy
by Seller_19xPhE8YgkmxW

Hi ELITETRADER,

I don't know your business but is it possible that the extra is 20% V.A.T. + 2% Digital services Fee?

The numbers look about right

All Best

Amazon Fees for nothing
by Seller_zjYfcV4aBG8cV

I am currently being scammed by Amazon. This is the only word I have to describe the behaviour being conducted.

I have not had any active listings in over a year on my Amazon France store.

I have now had 3 seperate charges raised on my account, two for over 50 € in a 2 week period, and one for just over 10 €.

They are listed as "other" transactions with a reason of "misc adjustment" when i downloaded the statement.

I have opened two seperate cases in seller support 10423135202 and 10401604372.

the MD here also emailed the Mangingdirector email address at amazon on 7th of November, this too has been ignored.

Essentially I am being charged with no apparent reason, Amazon refuse to engage and provide a solution or at leats an answer to justify their behaviour, and instead just ignore any contact I raise.

I have now raised my 3rd case today and again it has gone unanswered.

What on earth can I do in this situation?

Fill out the GDPR
by Seller_8OJ6NcFhZt3th
Amazon replied

I'm trying to fill out the GDPR, but it doesn't seem to be working. I've already sent the photos x6, indicated the supplier and the responsible person, and now I'm trying to upload the warning and safety information, but the PDF is not being accepted, even though it is less than 10 MB.

Nothing I've already sent seems to be recorded.

Could someone please help me with this?

Thanks

HMRC Bills

Good point about the PTC tax code, if this was wrong AMZ would have correctly invoiced at 20%

HMRC Bills
by Seller_Jce4SXtmnEPc2

Here’s another thought: Did she ensure the correct PTC tax code was applied to her listings? If the listings were mistakenly set to 20%, and Amazon auto-generated customer invoices reflecting that rate, it’s possible HMRC is relying on this data.
