Ungating with 100 units

I ungated an item with 10 units on the 16th of March. I tried to ungate another item and I have been asked to show a pirchase of 100 units of the item. Every item I want to ungate is asking for 100 units. Has Amazon changes the number of units required for ungating?

Hello fellow sellers,

I recently received several ASIN approval requests from Amazon, and it’s showing that I need to provide invoices for a combined purchase of 100 units. Unfortunately, this requirement isn’t feasible for me at the moment.

For now, I have removed the ASINs while I investigate the issue further.

Could anyone help me understand why this requirement is being applied, and if there’s any alternative way to get approval without meeting the 100-unit threshold?

Hello,

We are facing a critical issue with our account.

Our Account Level Reserve is 100%, and it continues to increase with every new sale. The full sales amount is being held, and no funds are being released.

Important details:

We successfully completed video verification 2.5 weeks ago

The account remains active and we can sell

However, the reserve continues to grow with every order

No disbursements are being made

Support has not provided any clear explanation or timeline

We are a turnover-dependent business. We need access to working capital to pay suppliers, logistics, and operational expenses. At the moment, we do not know:

Why the reserve is still at 100%

When funds will be released

What specific condition must be met to normalize the account

Because of this situation, we may be forced to stop selling, as we cannot continue covering operational costs without access to our revenue.

We are asking:

Why is the Account Level Reserve still 100% after successful verification?

What is the exact release condition?

What is the expected timeline for normalization?

We would greatly appreciate a clear and transparent explanation.

Hi everyone,

I need some clarification regarding the identity verification on my Amazon Seller account. I have an LTD company and I am the director and 100% shareholder.

My account has been showing an “At Risk” warning due to the Beneficial Owner ID verification. I’m not sure who I should enter for the following fields:

Primary Contact

Beneficial Owner

Since I manage the account and also own 100% of the company, should both roles be filled with my own details?

If anyone has gone through this recently or knows the correct way Amazon expects this to be completed, your guidance would be appreciated.

FBM 100% Refund - INR - Item delivered with POD

Hello sellers, looking for your guidance please on Amazon Refunds

1) FBM Order was shipped with BuyShipping DPD. Shipped on time. Delivered on time.

2) Proof of delivery photo is available with the customer standing in it and the front door open.

3) No message from customer. No refund request. No A-Z claim.

4) Amazon has issued a full refund for item not delivered

I checked the SAFE-T route but it seems not to cover item not delivered route.

We have full photo evidence of the item inside the customer home with them in the picture at the doorstep.

The Amazon policy seems to say we should contact DPD to claim for this but we arent the account holder (buyshipping) and the claim will be denied anyway because there is clear proof of delivery.

We have followed all the processes and used buyshipping but dont seem to be able to contest or claim for an incorrect refund decision.

I used to get 400 ordera a day on this listing and amazon has runied my listing.

It has gone down to 100 orders a day. It has 4 variations, 2 top selling variations almost never get buybox.

Kindly help us as we product everything here in the UK and a lot of staff members are at risk of losing their jobs as production is done on a daily basis.

Hi all,

I’m 100% FBM (no FBA). In the last 365 days I’ve processed just under 3,000 orders and I’ve collected only 6 seller feedback.

I did try sending feedback requests via Buyer-Seller Messaging for a period and got zero improvement, so I stopped.

Questions for other FBM sellers:

Is this kind of feedback rate normal now (buyers just not leaving seller feedback anymore)?

Does anything actually move the needle for FBM without risking policy issues?

Are sellers with thousands of feedback mainly older accounts with years of accumulation, or are they doing something specific?

Is the “Request a Review” button meaningful for FBM (and does it affect seller feedback vs product reviews)?

Not trying to game anything — just want to understand what’s realistic in 2026 for FBM and what’s worth focusing on.

I'm not sure what's going on at Amazon but regating tons of brands then asking for 100 unit ungate seems a bit over the top.

I've been selling on Amazon for over 3 years and have sold brands that I have now been regated on with 0 customer complaints. So my question is.

- I've had no warning and no list of brands you were restricting me in. Can you explain the reason for this? just before Q4 as well, the busiest time of year for Amazon sellers.

- Can you explain the reason for making it near impossible to ungate as well as making it harder and harder for anybody to actually sell any brand.

- Seller Support reject invoices without any clear reason for it. Why has this become nigh impossible as of late also.

Hi everyone,

I sent a shipment of 300 units to Amazon, but the system shows 100 units missing. Amazon automatically closed the investigation as “contents counted and confirmed,” even though my carrier has confirmed all cartons were delivered to the fulfilment centre.

I was also unable to submit a reconciliation request through the Shipment Contents page, and support hasn’t addressed the delivery proof.

Has anyone had this happen before? How do I get Amazon to reopen the investigation when carrier scans show full delivery?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
