Hi everyone,

I have been selling on Amazon UK for around four years. Our account is very healthy, our performance is strong, and we are doing six figures in revenue every month.

Some of our ASINs are also selling far better than Amazon’s own listings in the same category, but we have still never received an invitation to join Vendor Central.

What confused me today was seeing another seller receive a Vendor Central invitation even though their sales appear to be much lower than ours, possibly around 75% lower.

I completely understand that Vendor Central is an invitation-only programme, but I am genuinely struggling to understand what Amazon’s actual requirements are.

Our account health is excellent, stock is stable, customer feedback is strong, and the business has been performing consistently for years. Still, no invitation.

To be honest, it is starting to feel like there are no clear requirements at all. It seems that if Amazon wants to invite a seller, they simply send the invitation, regardless of sales volume, account history, or overall performance.

Maybe I am wrong, which is why I am posting here.

Has anyone received a Vendor Central invitation in the UK? What was your sales level and account history at the time? Did Amazon contact you directly, or did you approach someone first?

I would really appreciate hearing some genuine experiences because, at the moment, the selection process feels completely random.

System Error whilst trying to refund
by Seller_WIFV02H2XUFgS

Hi @Seller_IQo80d99W2DzP

I do see that the team in charge replied to you on case ID 12185704982.

"Please note that some sellers experienced system errors between 27 February 1100 GMT and 28 February 0400 GMT. If you encountered this issue during that specific timeframe, the problem has since been resolved and you should now be able to process refunds normally."

I do recommend you follow up in the case above.

Christine

it's just plainly frustrating experience.

we have these claims sometimes.

invoices match amazon's requirement fully.

then you have a team of morons based nobody knows where calling vendor at 3am UK time.

then invoice gets rejected because "we could not vedify your vendor". Oh, I wonder why!

Or, invoice gets rejected because "it looks computer-generated, and therefore not authentic".

It is concerning that Amazon vendor listings did not lose any sales rank but only third party sellers lost sales rank and sales.

Exactly. Vendor listings untouched, third-party wiped — that's not how a technical fault behaves. This is self-preferencing with a technical excuse attached, and two days of silence isn't suggesting otherwise. Amazon has moved faster than this for problems that cost Amazon money.

Something has gone terribly wrong with the system. Most seller fulfilled listings have their sales rank missing and other listings have higher sales rank all of sudden.

People who have Amazon vendor in their listings have their sales rank intact. This is so wrong.

Hope it's a glitch as the sales have impacted today.

We are brand registered and have been for the last 5 years or so.

We have never given Amazon any 3rd Party reseller authorisation.

Our products are 90% manufactured by us and all products are sold on our brandad retail packaging with our Brand name/logo and our brand name is trademark registered.

A few years ago Amazon approached us to do Amazon Vendor and we agreed for this on product variations on 3 listings. Amazon bought these products from us and sold them.

However; Amazon kept squeezing our agreed prices and subsequently Amazon terminated the vendor agreement, this was back in 2023 and on different products to the issue now.

A+ Content is not accepting
by Seller_WhvhgYYsy2GcU
Amazon replied

Hi Amazon Team and Fellow Sellers,

I am currently facing a very unusual issue while trying to update our A+ Content.

Initially, all of our A+ content was created through our Vendor Central account. Later, we requested the closure of our Vendor account and fully transitioned to Seller Central.

After the Vendor account was closed, we lost access to the original A+ content that was created through Vendor Central. When we contacted Vendor Support, we were informed that the account was unmanaged and no longer exists, so access cannot be restored. They advised that Seller Support should be able to resolve the issue regarding the EBC/A+ content rights.

However, after contacting Seller Support multiple times, we have not received a clear solution. We were then directed to Brand Registry Support to verify our roles and permissions. Brand Support confirmed that our account has all the required selling roles and permissions to manage and update the content.

Despite this confirmation, the issue still persists and we have been repeatedly redirected between Seller Support, Vendor Support, and Brand Support without any resolution.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue after migrating from Vendor Central to Seller Central? If so, how were you able to regain control of your A+ content?

We would greatly appreciate guidance from Amazon moderators or other sellers who may have encountered this situation.

For reference, here are the case IDs:

Brand Support Case: 19648134241

Seller Support Case: 12210650102

Thank you in advance for your help.Vendor support case: 12201746442

I have consulted a tax professional and they have advised that it is impossible for me to obtain an Italian VAT number as I have no physical stock, no sales, and no business presence in Italy. It is legally impossible for me to register for an Italian VAT number.

Furthermore, Amazon acknowledged the error and removed the 1 unit from the Italian fulfilment centre via a 'vendor return' on the 30th September 2025.

So what is the next step from here?

A+ Content is not accepting
by Seller_WhvhgYYsy2GcU

Yes, we have a Professional selling account and we are the registered brand owners with all the required selling roles. I also confirmed with Brand Registry Support that all roles on our account are eligible. We previously had a Vendor account as well, but it has been permanently closed. Vendor Support informed us that this issue now lies with Seller Central and needs to be resolved by Seller Support.
