Hi everyone,
I have been selling on Amazon UK for around four years. Our account is very healthy, our performance is strong, and we are doing six figures in revenue every month.
Some of our ASINs are also selling far better than Amazon’s own listings in the same category, but we have still never received an invitation to join Vendor Central.
What confused me today was seeing another seller receive a Vendor Central invitation even though their sales appear to be much lower than ours, possibly around 75% lower.
I completely understand that Vendor Central is an invitation-only programme, but I am genuinely struggling to understand what Amazon’s actual requirements are.
Our account health is excellent, stock is stable, customer feedback is strong, and the business has been performing consistently for years. Still, no invitation.
To be honest, it is starting to feel like there are no clear requirements at all. It seems that if Amazon wants to invite a seller, they simply send the invitation, regardless of sales volume, account history, or overall performance.
Maybe I am wrong, which is why I am posting here.
Has anyone received a Vendor Central invitation in the UK? What was your sales level and account history at the time? Did Amazon contact you directly, or did you approach someone first?
I would really appreciate hearing some genuine experiences because, at the moment, the selection process feels completely random.
