Hello Sellers,

We are currently facing an issue where our Sparkers listings are repeatedly getting restricted under CAT F2 policy violations.

Initially, the listings were deactivated due to a CAT F2 restriction. However, we submitted the required documentation and clarification explaining that the product falls under CAT F1 category. After review, Amazon reinstated the listings, and sales resumed normally.

Unfortunately, after some time, the same listings are again getting restricted under CAT F2 policy, even though the issue was already reviewed and resolved previously.

This repeated restriction is affecting our sales and creating confusion.

Details:

Listings were reinstated after confirming CAT F1 classification

Sales resumed successfully

Now the same listings are again flagged for CAT F2 restriction

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue where listings get repeatedly restricted after reinstatement?

Any guidance on how to prevent this from happening again or how to get a permanent resolution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Coshida is Lidl's own-brand cat food range. It is exclusively sold at Lidl stores and covers a variety of products, including wet cat food, dry food, and cat litter. You will never get invoices for this as no one else is allowed to sell this brand.

If you search for Coshida on Amazon you will find dozens of offers, some are even FBA. And then reviews like this: "Don’t waste your money

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 May 2025

Flavour Name: Chicken

Dont get me wrong my cat loves these they are great and great for a cat that needs hypoallergenic treats but you can get a pack from Lidl for a pound and think it’s 17g in each pack. These people are just taking the pi**"

It doesn't look good for Amazon, and it's definitely not customer-centric, sorry.

CSM-Brand-Review not accepting my invoices!
by Seller_PIHyltK09pbl3

Hi @Seller_0sf2sykmBtpjc

Thanks for your patience on this case.

I did reach out to the team and they did review the invoices. However they are not approving you as they are restricting this brand.

My advise would be to contact the brand owner of Jelly cat directly to get you added as an authorized re-seller.

Sandy

Hi @Seller_0sf2sykmBtpjc

I'm looking into case ID 12153831232 but do not see any statements mentioning you were approved.

As previously mentioned, restrictions are coming from the brand. Please contact the brand owner of Jelly cat directly to get you added as an authorized re-seller.

Yeah I guess that’s true

It just feels like a game of cat and mouse now. You list a book no issues then it could be removed within days due to needing approval. You can’t list anything with confidence now.

It’s going to become impossible eventually the way things are going

Please write to national tv/news to get them to pay attention, that's the only quick wa I see Amazon actually having humans(not bots) looking into this. Tens of businesses essentially bankrupted...

@Seller_RguKGMHvWFmo3 "So Amazon as 3rd Party Sellers are YOUR CUSTOMERS, what are you doing for us YOUR CUSTOMERS??" Spot on. I have been attempting to enlighten these guys on this since 2012 when I first joined. Not a cat in a hell's chance are they ever going to get it.

Hi @Seller_0sf2sykmBtpjc

Sandy from the community manager team here.

It seems like the original brand approval request came from ASIN ending 5V5. However the support answer provided in 12017235562 is correct.

Please review the reasons support has listed.

In addition, you mention you are a verified supplier, but do you have an Letter of Authorization from the Jelly Cat brand? I'm not sure if I saw this so please let me know if you have attached this.

Sandy

Are we talking about the word branded after the publishers name? Completely agree they are publishers not brands, I’ve noticed it’s happening quite a lot on here that. Finding loads lately with the word branded at the end of their names.

I dunno about you but from the MOD response I can’t see this situation improving at all. Feels to me now like a game of cat and mouse, you list a book and see how long it takes for it to be removed pending approval. No confidence at all anymore selling books on here

End of the day they make us sellers jump through hoops when it comes to compliance but yet for them compliance with first sale doctrine doesnt count by the look of it.

I am speaking as a used book seller.

I believe that some of the main issues affected this sector are:

1 As another poster has already pointed out - the almost complete lack of Seller Support. This has been written about on this forum hundreds of times

2 The complete mess the book catalogue is in. Again this has been highlighted many many times with absolutely no response from Amazon

3 The arbitary removal by Amazon of many of sellers listings because of "High pricing" or because of the need for "approval". There have been at least 10 long discussions on this forum just in the last few months

4 The number of "mods" like yourself who have come onto the forum promising help but ending up actually doing nothing. Let's hope that you are the mod that actually gets something done.

There are many other issues I could list but I am just being called to put the Christmas turkey into the oven!
