1 day dispatch
by Seller_KJmU5xliSK0Bl
Amazon replied

As I knew would happen Amazon set the 1 day dispatch and my delivery rate has fallen below 90%. I can handle the 1 day dispatch, however the delivery time is no way accurate. I use 2nd class post, which is what I can only use for single purchases, to keep competitive and in business. Royal Mail 2nd class post takes 4-8 working days with no Saturday delivery, with exceptions. Amazon still say it will be delivered on that day not an estimation. Sure I can go into each item and change it to a 2 day dispatch but when you have 1000's of listings it's not an overnight project.

Unnecessary 1 star review
by Seller_c2LprYFN02smC
Amazon replied

I have just received a 1* review.

It states she received a ripped open envelope with nothing in it.

Why would the buyer feel that I deserved a 1* review for that.

Does she think I sent her a ripped open envelope with nothing in it?

Does she think I needed to do that for an eyeliner that she paid £2.98 for?

Why would she not send me a message first?

Why does Amazon allow this?

This is my livelihood!!

Why are people so vile.

Remove 1 star review
by Seller_Nu7KVGmMoFNlM
Amazon replied

Dear Amazon Community Help,

I am writing to seek help to request the removal of a 1-star product review left on our product page (ASIN: B0FSYHMP1W)

The review text states:

"Lovely product however, the packaging for delivery or lack of it has disappointed me greatly. The product is in a lovely box and just has a delivery sticker slapped on it. This has now ruined the box and unable to forward on this gift."

Reason for Removal Request:

This review directly violates the Amazon Customer Community Guidelines regarding What's Not Allowed. The customer explicitly praises the intrinsic quality of the product itself ("Lovely product", "product is in a lovely box"), but assigns a 1-star rating based entirely and exclusively on fulfillment logistics and delivery packaging (the placement of a shipping label directly onto the gift box).

According to Amazon's official Customer Community Guidelines:

"We don't allow reviews or questions and answers that focus on: Sellers and the customer service they provide... Shipping and packaging... Shipping cost and speed."

Furthermore, the guidelines state:

"Community content is meant to help customers learn about the product itself, not someone's individual experience ordering it."

Because this order was Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA), the shipping method and placement of the delivery sticker fall entirely under Amazon Logistics' responsibility, not the manufacturer's product quality. Keeping this logistics complaint on the product page misleads future buyers about the physical merit of the item.

I very much hope that Amazon can remove this non-compliant 1-star review to protect the integrity of the ASIN's product catalog data. I have opened 2 cases before this and clicked report twice under the 1 star review but no action has been taken on Amazon's side.

Please assist me on how to go about this issue.

Lifetime Feedbacks Reducing at 1 per Month
by Seller_19xPhE8YgkmxW
Amazon replied

Hello All,

In my Feedback Manager, my Lifetime total feedback is now 1064, but in April it was 1065, and it should be at least 1066

I have not had any new feedbacks since 4th April 2026.

The Lifetime total should never decrease, but from monitoring this, occasioned by previous concerns in this area, I conclude it is dropping at the rate of around 1 review per month. But these do not seem to be either the most recent or the older reviews that are disappearing

I have raised a case - ID: 12569079172 - although this required me to input a specific order number (which was not relevant)

Positive feedback is really tough to achieve as customers expect perfection, so are not pleased when they get it

Does anyone pay attention to feedbacks? Some sellers are running at less than 80% and there seems to be no concern from Amazon, although there used to be a 90% rule, I think...

All Best

Brian

PS The Case Response was a standard template about Feedback Removal!

PPS I have screen-shots to prove this

PPPS This probably affects YOUR feedbacks, also

Zero Ad impressions following 1 day holiday
by Seller_q7FbH9ZtV1ReA
Amazon replied

hi all,

I have not come across this before. Yesterday I put the store onto holiday mode as we were going out for the day. I then activated the store again around 5pm that evening/same day.

I have noticed I now have zero impressions coming through on the ads. Usually around 1 hour after activating the listings after a holiday the ads starting ticking over.

Has anybody else experienced this or any advice. I have tried turning all the ads off and then switching them all back on but I’m still getting zero impressions coming through

We have our account suspended for more than 3 months already because the UK VAT number doesnt match with company name and that happens because we have 2 companies (for 2 different markets, ES and GB):

1) "CompanyName SL" - our spanish company that holds the VAT numbers from all these marketplaces: ES, FR, DE, IT. The Amazon seller account was first created in Spain and the business address that we have in our Amazon account belongs to this spanish company.

2) Then we have the UK VAT number that belongs to our other company "CompanyName LTD" (our UK company). The registered business address is from London. This address is not possible to put in our Amazon account because we can only have 1 address. So we either put the Spanish company address or the UK company address. We requested an exception to this limitation, considering our situation. We wanted to have 1 Amazon business address for UK marketplace and 1 different business address for the other European Marketplaces (ES, FR, DE, IT) to be in line with our 2 different companies that belong to the same parent company but has 2 different addresses for different countries.

____

When Amazon team checked your GB VAT ID on the HMRC online database, you receive the following result in the business name section:

"CompanyName LTD"

Therefore, it was detected a mismatch with the business name recorded on Seller Central:

"CompanyName SL"

This is normal because UK companies need to end with LTD and spanish companies need to end with SL.

But since we have 2 companies with 2 different names registered in each market, we can't simply have the same name in both markets.

What did I do so far to solve this:

- I already opened cases since December. The most recent one was started in January and I attached all documentation requested from Amazon and all the explanation and details that were requested as well. The case ID is: 12055037692. As you can see I don't receive any feedback for more than 1 month.

- I have also sent an email to vat-number-appeals@amazon.com with the same explanation and documentation on January 26th. I also didn't receive any feedback.

___________

I wanted to solve this 5 months ago when I opened the first case. Our account is blocked for more than 3 months without being able to sell. I request an imediate action and call me to my phone number.

I need clear next steps on how to solve this as soon as possible. 5 months without feedback is not reasonable.

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this at the moment.

We’re fully eligible for Premium Delivery and all metrics are fine, but 1-day delivery is showing one day later than expected, even though it’s still before the cutoff time.

Orders are still coming through to be despatched the same day and to deliver the next day, but the listing page says 2 days.

Nothing has changed on our side, and this started suddenly a few days ago across all listings.

Hello,

As requested by @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse I'm starting a new thread to address this issue (again)

Case Number 13033454292

Seller Support's reply to the question

I am unable to list ISBN 0356521834 because the system requires me to load an invoice for 10 new books, but I only have 1 used book. I tried using the Add a Product tool but was unable to proceed due to this requirement.

ASIN: 0356521834

SKU: BCA100019999

can they help?

... is that I must provide said invoice or I cannot list this book for sale.

This ignores the fact that my copy is USED and I only have 1, but it is legally owned by me and I am a seller in good standing.

This also ignores the fact that other Sellers are offering this book for sale who do not have 10+ copies, nor are their copies NEW

Can anyone at Amazon help resolve this situation?

Brian

1 Star Product review - Based on delivery experience
by Seller_vxeanJigTlOr3
Amazon replied

Looking for some opinions from other sellers on this one.

I've attached a screenshot of a review I've recently reported. The customer states that the product is fine, but leaves a 1-star review because the delivery driver left the parcel out in the rain instead of putting it behind their bin.

To me, the review seems to be entirely about the delivery experience rather than the product itself, which is why I reported it.

What makes me question it is that I had

a very similar review in the past. I reported that one as well, but Amazon didn't remove it, so I'm not particularly confident this one will be removed either.

What do other sellers think? Would you expect Amazon to remove a review like this, or leave it up?

Another thing I've often wondered about is Amazon's use of AI. Amazon seems very good at using AI to spot issues with listings, compliance problems, image requirements, product detail pages and so on. Yet reviews that appear to clearly focus on delivery issues rather than the product still seem to slip through.

If a review literally says "Product is fine" and the complaint is about where the driver left the parcel, shouldn't that be something Amazon's systems can identify automatically?

Interested to hear if other sellers have had similar experiences and what the outcome was.
