'Copy Listing' isn't copying all details
by Seller_540qgZMXuuXdD
Amazon replied

When I copy a listing, some of the details still need to be added.

Brand Name, External Product ID, Quantity, Price and Images still all need to be added. In regards to the images, they show up, but when saving the listing they disappear, so images all need adding each time even though I only want to change the main image.

It really slows me down. Does anyone else have this issue, or a solution?

Thanks

Hello,

As requested by @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse I'm starting a new thread to address this issue (again)

Case Number 13033454292

Seller Support's reply to the question

I am unable to list ISBN 0356521834 because the system requires me to load an invoice for 10 new books, but I only have 1 used book. I tried using the Add a Product tool but was unable to proceed due to this requirement.

ASIN: 0356521834

SKU: BCA100019999

can they help?

... is that I must provide said invoice or I cannot list this book for sale.

This ignores the fact that my copy is USED and I only have 1, but it is legally owned by me and I am a seller in good standing.

This also ignores the fact that other Sellers are offering this book for sale who do not have 10+ copies, nor are their copies NEW

Can anyone at Amazon help resolve this situation?

Brian

A-to-Z Appeals Made Simple
by Seller_FJwyF3iu5qxUY
Amazon replied

Hello Sellers,

Receiving an A-to-Z claim can feel frustrating, but understanding the appeal process can help you protect your account health and potentially reverse unfavorable decisions. Let's walk through everything you need to know about appealing these claims effectively.

🔍What Is an A-to-Z Claim?

The A-to-Z Guarantee protects customers when they experience issues with Marketplace orders whether it's a delivery problem or an item condition issue. If a customer doesn't receive a resolution after contacting you and waiting 48 hours, they can file a claim with Amazon. Once filed, claims are either auto-granted or manually reviewed by Amazon's investigation team.

⏰Understanding Your Appeal Window

You have 30 calendar days to submit an appeal after a claim is granted in your favour and your account is debited. This is your opportunity to provide new information that could dispute the decision and potentially reverse the claim.

📝 How to Appeal: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Access Your Claims

  • Go to the Performance menu in Seller Central
  • Select "A-to-z Guarantee Claims"
  • Click on the "Option to Appeal" tab

Step 2: Locate Your Claim

  • Find the relevant claim you want to appeal
  • Select "Appeal decision"

Step 3: Build Your Case, enter your comments in the text box with any information that helps Amazon understand why the claim should be reversed. Focus on providing:

  • For delivery-related claims: Dispatch method, proof of delivery from your carrier (signature confirmation, carrier details)
  • For returns-related claims: Domestic return address, return shipping details (like prepaid labels), and explanation of why a return request was rejected
  • Customer communication: Any correspondence showing the customer acknowledged receipt or expressed satisfaction with the transaction

⚠️Important Note: The text box doesn't support attachments. If you need to share documents like proof of delivery, use Buyer-Seller Messages to send them to the customer, then mention in your appeal that you've attached additional information via Buyer-Seller Messages.

Step 4: Submit Your Appeal Click "Submit" when you're ready. Amazon will review the information you provided.

⏳What Happens Next?

After you submit your appeal, Amazon's investigation team will review your case. If they need additional information, they'll contact you via email. You must respond to any information requests within 48-72 hours.

When your appeal is successful, either the refund cost or the impact to your Order Defect Rate (ODR) may be reversed. Keep in mind that it may take up to 7 calendar days for the ODR reversal to reflect on your Orders page or for your selling account to be refunded.

Pro Tips for Successful Appeals

✓ Act quickly - Don't wait until the last day of your 30-day window

✓ Be specific - Include order IDs, dates, tracking numbers, and concrete evidence

✓ Stay professional - Present facts clearly without emotional language

✓ Document everything - Keep records of all customer communications

📚 Need More Help?

For additional guidance on A-to-Z claims, visit the A-to-z Guarantee Claims help page or learn more about responding to claim notifications.

I want to hear from you! What are your thoughts? How do you appeal? Do you have a format you use? Let me know!

Had a good few years on amazon but sales have now completely collapsed. Nothing changed and simply dont know why the sudden loss in sales. So we are closing the shop and solely replying on our own website. Has anyone else closed their amazon store and gone solo with their own website? We are sick of the continuous jumping through hoops, customers fraudulently making claims, bad service by royal mail, and the DD+7 payment disbursements. Its simply not worth selling on here. Cost of advertising is through the roof as are the fees. Anyone else gone through similar?

We have had notification of removal of some of our ASIN's as Amazon bots have decided the products are made of real animal fur, these are boilersuits made of Polycotton, they are listed correctly but as they are boilersuits some images show them being used on a farm and there are sheep in the photo. Amazon Account Health seem to think this might be the problem but we do not own the listing so cannot change, I have appealed with details of the product but this gets rejected (presumably by bots as if a human was looking at this appeal it would be obvious what has happened) Any advice on this, it seems mad that their automated systems have picked this up from something in a photo of the product!

I am requesting assistance regarding an ongoing issue, where a customer has been granted an A to Z claim for £241.99, for a return they made outside of the 30 day return window. I disputed the claim, stating the following;

The customer opened a return on the 11th May. This was 5 days after the order was delivered. I left this return request open for 27 days. Then, on the 6th June, I closed the return request, as it had then been 32 days since the order was delivered, and so the return was no longer valid, as per your own terms and policies that state orders must be returned within 30 days. Then, after I had closed the return request, the customer suddenly decided they were going to now return the order, and did so on the 12th June, a full 38 days after the order was delivered. On the tracking, you can clearly see that this was not delivered to me. It was left outside of my house when I was on holiday. Therefore, I don't even have the return, as it was no longer there when I got home. So, I do not have the return, and the customer returned it well outside of the 30 day return window, despite having weeks to return it and me leaving the return window open for them the entire time. Only once the return request was closed did they suddenly decide to return it. Therefore, as previously confirmed by you, I have no obligation to refund the customer and so this claim must be overturned. You cannot completely ignore your own terms and policies that state customers must return orders within 30 days. This customer failed to do so, and so is not obligated to a refund.

Today, I have received a response stating the claim has been upheld. I have responded to the claim, again disputing it, and contacted the Managing Director, but I am also posting here to try and get this resolved. If this continues to not be resolved and the claim overturned, I will be escalating this further to ensure my funds are recouped.

I hope to get a response soon.

I want to promote my hand made products....
by Seller_ShKc3M4FFlzU1
Amazon replied

I have been listing my hand made products on Amazon for a year now. They sell well on eBay.

In this year I have not sold one item on Amazon :-( The Stats show zero views on all products.

But similar (but inferior -- my opinion :-) products seem to be selling in the hundreds.

When I look at promoting an item, the cost seems much higher than any expected sales profit.

For hand made items (sometimes one-off), has anyone found a way to promote on Amazon?
