The absertity of high pricing warnings
by Seller_FQHkqHJI5SqTh
Amazon replied

Had a warning yesterday of a high pricing error. Not a problem; it wasn't an active listing and I can't say I'm particularly concerned with those warnings.

It was inactive because it sold on Amazon a couple of months ago for the price they are telling me is too high.

At present there are no copies of this book on Amazon.

High return rate tag on product
by Seller_6KVHBKKejrLw9
Amazon replied

I don't understand why Amazon decides to put a high return rate tag on products but does not make it mandatory for customers to put a valid reason for the return. A customer could return e.g if they changed their mind or perhaps did not read the listing correctly. In that case a return still counts as return and effects the high return rate tag percentage. Don't think this is fair and Amazon should consider each return reason and identify if it's customer fault or indeed something wrong with the product.Have fad high return rate tag on my star product and this has dramatically effected sales.

At Amazon it's always customers first which is correct but sellers should be given equal importance, as without sellers, Amazon will have not much to offer, not will make revenue.

@Amazon, can you review your high return tag scheme?

You can now see how top-performing sellers in your store perform on the Customer Service Quality Insights dashboard. We've added this comparison feature to help you identify improvement opportunities and set clear performance goals.

We launched Customer Service Quality Insights in December 2025 to help sellers who self-ship and provide their own customer service to track three key metrics: Buyer Contact Rate, Average Contact Response Time and Buyer Dissatisfaction Rate.

With this new data, you can see exactly how leading sellers in your store perform on these same metrics. This comparison can help you improve your customer service and potentially receive repeat business.

To learn more, go to Customer service quality insights on Feedback Manager.

Featured offer and high price issue
by Seller_SloxUrGfenFjW
Amazon replied

Hi everyone,

@Seller_DNQGSsdC7DccM @Seller_XUNeUuvrQDpgP @Seller_j9Bd91CW3ZVpr @Seller_fgtTzyHQfOM1x @Seller_mIRnuhdx7l5sN @Seller_Huz6FT08OxHAR @Seller_hnDMgUKxMh1V4 @Seller_lmwzklfLOK2Ob

We’re the brand owner and manufacturer of a premium shower head (case ID: 12215698222) selling via FBA and enrolled in Brand Registry.

Our listings are active and buyable, but Amazon says they are not eligible for the Featured Offer due to “significantly high price.” The issue is there is no reference price available, and we have already lowered our Amazon price by £20 compared to what we sell the product for outside Amazon.

It appears Amazon’s algorithm may be comparing our premium shower head to standard/basic shower heads, which are much cheaper, causing the pricing flag. We’ve opened several cases with Seller Support but haven’t had a resolution yet. This is really frustrating and it is negatively affecting our sales/ ads and customer engagement. Please help us find a solution. Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance.

Had a good few years on amazon but sales have now completely collapsed. Nothing changed and simply dont know why the sudden loss in sales. So we are closing the shop and solely replying on our own website. Has anyone else closed their amazon store and gone solo with their own website? We are sick of the continuous jumping through hoops, customers fraudulently making claims, bad service by royal mail, and the DD+7 payment disbursements. Its simply not worth selling on here. Cost of advertising is through the roof as are the fees. Anyone else gone through similar?

To be fair to you @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYseit is disturbing but not surprising that you have confirmed that to list an authentic official product that I have to make contact with another seller who is selling fake products and ask them for permission to sell authentic products on your site and you wonder why there is increasing anger towards Amazon from both sellers and buyers where fakes are now the dominant force.

Clearly what you state is true as 2 AMAZON reps have now stated that fake product sellers control brands that they are no links to this to authentic products sellers shows just how bad a state the catalogue now is this is why I no longer shop on Amazon for myself due to the high likelihood of receiving fakes confirmed by the information you have sent

Potential High Pricing Error - ASIN: B0FPMM1N93
by Seller_fXpmcyUzQxS2y

Hello Amazon Moderators,

I'm reaching out for help escalating an unresolved pricing issue that Seller Support has been unable to resolve through normal case correspondence.

Issue summary:

ASIN B0FPMM1N93 was deactivated due to a "potential high-price error." We submitted a price justification case (Case ID: 12950179762) with substantial external evidence, including:

The manufacturer's own direct website listing the identical product at a price higher than ours

An authorized reseller selling the identical product at full, undiscounted price

A comparable eBay listing at a similar price point

Seller Support responded confirming the pricing flag is generated automatically by Amazon's system, which compares our price against internal reference prices (average price, Buy Box price, competitive pricing). However, when we check the Pricing Health tool in Seller Central, no reference price is displayed to us at all — not an average price, not a Buy Box price, nothing.

Why we need help:

We are being asked to justify or correct our price against a benchmark that is invisible to us. We cannot verify what Amazon is comparing our price to, we cannot independently confirm whether the flag is even accurate, and Seller Support has confirmed that the external evidence we submitted is not factored into the automated decision. This leaves us in a position where the listing stays deactivated indefinitely with no clear path to resolution.

What we're asking:

Escalation of Case ID 12950179762 to the team that manages Pricing Health / Fair Pricing Policy enforcement

Either disclosure of the reference price being used to flag this ASIN, or a manual review of the listing against the pricing evidence already submitted

Guidance on why no reference price is visible in our Pricing Health dashboard for this specific ASIN

This listing represents legitimate, fairly priced inventory that matches or undercuts the manufacturer's own pricing. We'd appreciate a moderator taking a direct look at this case rather than another automated response, as prior case replies have not addressed the core issue: we cannot fix a pricing error we cannot see.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some advice from FBA sellers who have had success.

I've been an FBA reseller for many years and, until now, I've genuinely never experienced an issue like this. Over thousands of units shipped with inbound accuracy extremely high. While nobody can ever claim to be 100% perfect, we operate a three-stage checking process before every shipment leaves our warehouse, and we are confident that 99.999% of our shipments are dispatched correctly. Our track record over many years reflects this.

What makes this case particularly frustrating is that it was a very small simple inbound shipment consisting of only two cartons.

Carton 1 contained a single product line only.

Carton 2 contained the remaining mixed products.

Initially, Amazon reported that a significant number of items were missing and suggested there were unexpected items compared with the shipping plan (impossible). However, over time, Amazon has gradually located many of those supposedly missing items and added them into my inventory. This demonstrates that the original receiving investigation was not entirely accurate.

Unfortunately, there are still some items outstanding, including one particularly high-value product that all 45pcs shipped remains unaccounted for that was originally scanned as received. The shipment history also contains inventory movements that do not appear to make logical sense, which is why I have repeatedly requested a manual investigation by the specialist inventory team rather than receiving standard responses.

My case (12906300342) has now been sitting in "Work in Progress" weeks without any update, despite providing detailed evidence and requesting escalation.

I'd really appreciate hearing from other sellers who may have experienced something similar and what action you took to obtain success.

I have seen other sellers tag active amazon moderators so i will give this a try in hope -

@Seller_ZOQl3yGgQaWBN @Seller_nEEe7zUuNBBx9 and @Seller_zukQNO61PzGck if you're able to assist, I would be extremely grateful if you could review Case ID: 12906300342 and help ensure it reaches the appropriate specialist inventory investigation team for a full manual investigation.

I would also like to stress that we are very happy with the FBA service overall and, over many years of selling on Amazon, we have consistently experienced excellent inbound accuracy and inventory handling. This is precisely why this case stands out so much to us. The sequence of inventory movements and the fact that many items initially reported as missing have since been found simply doesn't make sense, which is why we're asking for a thorough manual investigation to establish exactly what happened.

Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone,

I am facing a frustrating issue with my Account Health and need some advice on how to proceed.

One of my long-selling listings was recently deactivated because a customer reported a "product quality" issue. However, this is a product I have been selling successfully for a very long time. The root cause of the negative feedback has always been the same: customers do not read the compatibility chart carefully before purchasing. I have done everything possible to prevent this. I clearly state the compatibility requirements in the main product images, bullet points, and A+ content. Despite this, some buyers still order the wrong variant and then report it as a quality/defective issue.

In the past, I was able to successfully resolve this by submitting a Plan of Action (POA) explaining the specific nature of the product and how customer misunderstanding leads to these false claims.

However, this time is different:

No option to submit a POA: The system is not even giving me an option to upload or submit a POA to explain the situation.

Bad advice from Account Health: I spoke with an Account Health Specialist/Manager, and they actually told me to just "admit the violation" to get the listing reinstated.

I did absolutely nothing wrong, and my product has no quality defects—it is strictly a buyer matching error. Out of desperation to save my listing, I reluctantly followed the manager's advice and admitted the violation, but I feel stuck and uneasy about this approach.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation recently where you weren't allowed to submit a POA? What is the best way to handle this moving forward to protect my account health and recover my listing properly?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
