'Copy Listing' isn't copying all details
by Seller_540qgZMXuuXdD
Amazon replied

When I copy a listing, some of the details still need to be added.

Brand Name, External Product ID, Quantity, Price and Images still all need to be added. In regards to the images, they show up, but when saving the listing they disappear, so images all need adding each time even though I only want to change the main image.

It really slows me down. Does anyone else have this issue, or a solution?

Thanks

Hello,

As requested by @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse I'm starting a new thread to address this issue (again)

Case Number 13033454292

Seller Support's reply to the question

I am unable to list ISBN 0356521834 because the system requires me to load an invoice for 10 new books, but I only have 1 used book. I tried using the Add a Product tool but was unable to proceed due to this requirement.

ASIN: 0356521834

SKU: BCA100019999

can they help?

... is that I must provide said invoice or I cannot list this book for sale.

This ignores the fact that my copy is USED and I only have 1, but it is legally owned by me and I am a seller in good standing.

This also ignores the fact that other Sellers are offering this book for sale who do not have 10+ copies, nor are their copies NEW

Can anyone at Amazon help resolve this situation?

Brian

Had a good few years on amazon but sales have now completely collapsed. Nothing changed and simply dont know why the sudden loss in sales. So we are closing the shop and solely replying on our own website. Has anyone else closed their amazon store and gone solo with their own website? We are sick of the continuous jumping through hoops, customers fraudulently making claims, bad service by royal mail, and the DD+7 payment disbursements. Its simply not worth selling on here. Cost of advertising is through the roof as are the fees. Anyone else gone through similar?

Hi, we are sending a single sku, loose retail unit pallet into an Amazon FBA centre in the UK. All units have an amazon approved manufacturer barcode on it. The items on the pallets are retail ready, ready to pick pack and send to customers. These are not in any master cartons.

When trying to book this pallet Amazon is stating we must stick an FBA label on every single loose retail unit (92 in total). This is NOT possible as these units are the final product, ready to go to customers. We cannot have a big FBA label stuck onto these units as these are the final customer ready products. Can you please advise of the exact process of how to send these into Amazon FBA centres on pallets as single loose retail units without having to stick an FBA label on all 92 units.

FYI, the pallet is safe and secure with the loose retail units on, we are also using glord pallet boxes which are strapped and wrapped also.

I have rasied Case ID 11889954422 in the UK but it has been over 5 days, been escalated to leadership team but no one from Amazon Leadership team has responded.

Hi all,

Hope you can help? I was deregistered for VAT on the 1st August this year and contacted Amazon straight away to inform them. They are now demanding a VAT number from me and obviously I haven't got one. I filled out all their forms yesterday but again when it came to the tax form it wanted a VAT number so I sent a screenshot of the message from HMRC saying that as of the 1st of August I will be deregistered from VAT but need to pay my VAT up to the 31st July 2026. It was a very basic message and didn't have my Vat number as it was sent direct to my HMRC messages.

Has anyone been through this? I'm literally pulling my hair out as I've been in business for 15 years and Amazon are saying I have 56 days to comply or they will stop my selling rights.

Hope someone can point me to some help. I spoke to an advisor for almost an hour yesterday and they said to fill out the form. AAArgh!

Many thanks

Sandy

Hello everyone,

I am hoping an Amazon Community Manager or an experienced seller can help, as I have exhausted all available support channels and this issue has now been ongoing for several weeks, months. Case ID: 12632418202

I created a new colour variation of an existing rechargeable product that contains a built-in lithium-ion battery. The original variation has been selling successfully through FBA for a long time without any issues.

However, when I attempted to send inventory for the new colour variation, I was unable to create an FBA shipment because the listing became stuck in "Not classified: Unable to classify."

I uploaded all the required compliance documentation, including the SDS/MSDS and Certificate of Compliance, multiple times. After approximately 48 hours, the uploaded documents would disappear, and the status would reset back to "Not classified: Unable to classify."

After numerous conversations with Seller Support, the case was finally escalated to the internal Dangerous Goods team and I was then informed by two different Amazon Support representatives that:

The product had been successfully classified as "LITHIUM ION BATTERIES CONTAINED IN EQUIPMENT."

The classification had been correctly applied to the parent listing and all variations.

The remaining issue was only a system synchronization delay, and I was advised to wait 24–48 hours.

Unfortunately, even after waiting well beyond the advised time-frame, I am still unable to create an FBA shipment, and the exact same error continues to appear.

Since then, I have received conflicting replies from Seller Support. Some agents continue to state that the product has no active FBA offer, (copy and paste responses, other supports not even bothered to read previous messages so no idea what was the real issue) even though:

the listing has been configured as FBA for some time,

it appears in Seller Central as an FBA listing,

it shows "Out of Stock" under the Replenish Inventory status,

and the original variation continues to sell successfully through FBA.

Other support representatives have already confirmed that the Hazmat classification has been completed and the issue should have been resolved. At this point, it feels as though the case is being restarted each time it reaches a new support agent, despite the previous investigation and confirmations.

This unresolved issue prevented us from replenishing inventory in time for Prime Day, resulting in missed sales opportunities. Our inventory has been ready to ship throughout this period, but the system continues to prevent shipment creation.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation where the Dangerous Goods classification was confirmed as complete, but the Send to Amazon workflow still prevented FBA shipment creation?

If so, how was the issue resolved?

I would greatly appreciate any advice from experienced sellers. If an Amazon Community Manager could review Case ID: 12632418202 and assist with escalating this to the appropriate technical team, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your time, help and assistance.

How do I find my storefront shop page URL?
by Seller_tRuvBEHDedp4q
Amazon replied

I want to put my amazon storefront URL onto some promotion material -but have hit a brick wall with regards finding out what it is.

I thought it was amazon.co.uk/shops/ABC

(obviously ABC being my user display name) - but this does not work. I get a page that says the web address is not a functioning page on the site.

So I googled the question and was told I could get it from Settings-Account Info-Business Information

But no - there is no store URL I can see under any of the options.

So I tried Settings-Account Info-Store Info

This has a link for 'Your Seller Profile' - and clicking that just shows me all the country sites I am able to sell on (I only sell on the UK site)

Another googled method told me to :

Navigate to one of your active product listings on the Amazon website. Find the "Sold by" section under the buy box. Click on your Seller Name. On the next page, click the link that says "[Your Seller Name] Storefront"

But there is no [Your Seller Name] Storefront link

There is, however, a sequence of tabs one of which is 'Products' so I click that thinking it will take me to a list of my products which is does but the URL is (well I want to include the link but get told off for using offensive language trying to post with a link even though it is an Amazon web address but it is something like amazon/s?me=A1B3RD1FRZK8FD&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P

Which again is hopeless for me to use in promotion material

I just want a simple URL I can put on promotion/advertising material to direct customers to my amazon store but everything I try leads me nowhere. It cannot be this hard for me to give customers a link so they can go straight to my products/store on Amazon surely?

by Seller_KNsAlNj0BBiuN
Amazon replied

Hi All - I'm having a hard time getting a response to an ungate appeal. Originally the response was set for 17th February but I still haven't had a response on the case.

Anyone else experience this? Any idea how long it'll take for them to get back to me?

Hello sellers listing in, but not from the UK!

Ready to connect with UK customers more effectively this year? We've put together this comprehensive guide to help you optimise your listings with language that resonates with British buyers and drives conversions in 2026.

Why Local Language Matters for UK Success

British customers respond best to listings that speak their language—literally. Using proper British English spelling, terminology, and cultural references isn't just about correctness; it's about building trust and improving your conversion rates. When your listings feel authentically British, customers are more likely to click "Add to Basket" (not "Add to Cart!").

Essential UK Language Optimisation Strategies

British English Spelling and Terminology

  • Colour (not color)
  • Favourite (not favorite)
  • Organise (not organize)
  • Catalogue (not catalog)
  • Aluminium (not aluminum)

UK-Specific Product Terminology

  • Trainers (not sneakers)
  • Mobile phone (not cell phone)
  • Jumper or pullover (not sweater)
  • Trousers (not pants)
  • Torch (not flashlight)
  • Dummy (not pacifier)
  • Nappy (not diaper)

Measurement and Sizing Conventions British customers expect:

  • Metric measurements (centimetres, metres, kilograms) alongside imperial where relevant
  • UK clothing sizes (not US sizes)
  • Shoe sizes in UK format
  • Clear conversion charts when applicable

Cultural Relevance and Seasonal Timing Align your content with UK shopping patterns:

  • Reference UK bank holidays for operational updates
  • Consider UK retail seasons and weather patterns
  • Use culturally appropriate examples and imagery
  • Avoid American-centric references that may not resonate

Pro Tips for 2026

Stay Current: Language evolves. Keep your listings fresh by monitoring customer search behaviour and adapting your terminology accordingly.

Test and Optimise: Use A/B testing where possible to see which language variations perform best with UK customers.

Maintain Quality: British customers value proper grammar and spelling. Proofread carefully or use professional copywriting services.

Think Local: Even if you sell across multiple European marketplaces, ensure each listing is properly localised—what works in Germany won't necessarily work in the UK.

Stay Compliant: Include UK-specific compliance information where relevant

Tools to Help You Succeed

Search Term Report: Discover what UK customers are searching for

A+ Content: Showcase your products with localised imagery and copy

Brand Registry: Protect your brand and access enhanced content tools

Need More Help?

For UK local sellers, what mistakes do you find most often when sellers who aren’t from here list in the UK?

What's your biggest challenge with UK listing optimisation?

Share your experiences below, and let's help each other succeed in 2026!

Remember: Great listings aren't just about keywords—they're about connecting with your customers in the language they use every day. Take the time to get it right, and you'll see the difference in your conversion rates.

Happy selling!
