    I am one of those shoppers, I only shop on Amazon if I need something quickly, otherwise I shop elsewhere. But even that no longer works like it used to. Amazon Prime's deliveries are just as bad as Evri around here, they often don't ring and leave things in the car park, in the communal recycling bin or on the pavement. A few times recently, the items were delayed, in one case it took 4 days to have a Prime delivery. I think they should focus on these issues first.

    We can confirm that this is a known, system-wide issue currently under active investigation. The Sales Summary and FBA sell-through rate metrics may appear empty, show a value of 0, or display incorrect data — this is not an isolated problem with your account.

    Had a good few years on amazon but sales have now completely collapsed. Nothing changed and simply dont know why the sudden loss in sales. So we are closing the shop and solely replying on our own website. Has anyone else closed their amazon store and gone solo with their own website? We are sick of the continuous jumping through hoops, customers fraudulently making claims, bad service by royal mail, and the DD+7 payment disbursements. Its simply not worth selling on here. Cost of advertising is through the roof as are the fees. Anyone else gone through similar?

    A licence holder is not an authorised brand representative and cannot give you the authority to sell branded items. That is perfectly correct.

    Princess Diana was the first to copyright her face and image and it has moved a long way since then. You certainly cannot use an image of a famous person eg Elvis Presley, without paying for it. Which is also perfectly correct.

    Amazon want official brands not hooky products from rip off merchants which destroyed the reputation of so many other websites like the famous auction site which has been struggling for years to get rid of its terrible brand reputation. I have had one this very week on eBay where a UK trader literally copied all my graphics and text to sell products that are not mine.

    Speaking as a brands owner and manufacturer of products, I am happy that Amazon is like this and I hope that they continue to monitor GS! and all its friends to ensure my products are not ripped off. I spend a lot of money in development and innovation each year and would like to see tougher laws in the UK on rip off products including an easier way to get cash back.

    VAT deregistered, now being told unless I submit VAT number my shop will close!

    Hi all,

    Hope you can help? I was deregistered for VAT on the 1st August this year and contacted Amazon straight away to inform them. They are now demanding a VAT number from me and obviously I haven't got one. I filled out all their forms yesterday but again when it came to the tax form it wanted a VAT number so I sent a screenshot of the message from HMRC saying that as of the 1st of August I will be deregistered from VAT but need to pay my VAT up to the 31st July 2026. It was a very basic message and didn't have my Vat number as it was sent direct to my HMRC messages.

    Has anyone been through this? I'm literally pulling my hair out as I've been in business for 15 years and Amazon are saying I have 56 days to comply or they will stop my selling rights.

    Hope someone can point me to some help. I spoke to an advisor for almost an hour yesterday and they said to fill out the form. AAArgh!

    You can leave as many thumbs down as you like, it doesn't change the facts:

    We had 600+ listings on Amazon

    Monthly subscription:

    Amazon - £30

    eBay - £92 (Featured shop) or 35p per listing (£210)

    Etsy - 20p per listing (£120) + 20 every time an item sells.

    Amazon the clear winner as far as listings go.

    Sales charges. For the same product at the same price. A £5.49 Key ring

    Amazon - 35p

    eBay - 79p

    Etsy - 93p

    Again, Amazon is the clear winner. This doesn't even go into the fact that you will sell very little on ebay unless you pay extra for ads.

    I didn't say anything about hassle, just the cost of selling. And I'm talking FBM. As far as easy selling goes, Amazon is at the bottom of the pile. It's a hateful, hellish little place.

    How do I find my storefront shop page URL?

    I want to put my amazon storefront URL onto some promotion material -but have hit a brick wall with regards finding out what it is.

    I thought it was amazon.co.uk/shops/ABC

    (obviously ABC being my user display name) - but this does not work. I get a page that says the web address is not a functioning page on the site.

    So I googled the question and was told I could get it from Settings-Account Info-Business Information

    But no - there is no store URL I can see under any of the options.

    So I tried Settings-Account Info-Store Info

    This has a link for 'Your Seller Profile' - and clicking that just shows me all the country sites I am able to sell on (I only sell on the UK site)

    Another googled method told me to :

    Navigate to one of your active product listings on the Amazon website. Find the "Sold by" section under the buy box. Click on your Seller Name. On the next page, click the link that says "[Your Seller Name] Storefront"

    But there is no [Your Seller Name] Storefront link

    There is, however, a sequence of tabs one of which is 'Products' so I click that thinking it will take me to a list of my products which is does but the URL is (well I want to include the link but get told off for using offensive language trying to post with a link even though it is an Amazon web address but it is something like amazon/s?me=A1B3RD1FRZK8FD&marketplaceID=A1F83G8C2ARO7P

    Which again is hopeless for me to use in promotion material

    I just want a simple URL I can put on promotion/advertising material to direct customers to my amazon store but everything I try leads me nowhere. It cannot be this hard for me to give customers a link so they can go straight to my products/store on Amazon surely?

    Hi All - I'm having a hard time getting a response to an ungate appeal. Originally the response was set for 17th February but I still haven't had a response on the case.

    Anyone else experience this? Any idea how long it'll take for them to get back to me?
