Hello Everyone,

I’m opening this discussion because we are currently facing a very serious issue with our seller account.

Amazon has withheld £21,536.53, and we have not received any payout since October 2025. The funds appear to be held due to an ongoing KYC verification process that has still not been completed after several months.

The main problem is that we are not receiving any real updates or requests for additional information. We only keep receiving automatically generated emails stating that the verification process is continuing.

Meanwhile, our business is under significant pressure. We have pending VAT obligations and other payments, but since our funds are being held, we do not currently have enough liquidity to cover these obligations.

We completely understand the importance of compliance checks and KYC verification. However, holding such a significant amount of funds for months without a clear explanation, timeline, or communication is extremely difficult for sellers.

We would greatly appreciate it if Amazon moderators could review this situation, check the status of the KYC verification, and advise what steps we can take to resolve this or when we can expect the funds to be released.

At the moment, it really feels like we are trying to operate under Amazon’s “jungle rules.” 🙂

If other sellers have experienced a similar situation or know how to escalate this type of issue, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Approved reinstatement never actioned
by Seller_pcQiHOvzfsDtT

The ASIN was approved for reinstatement in writing on 24 July (case 12940708092), but has never actually been reinstated. Account Health Support confirmed on 31 July that a technical issue is preventing the approved reinstatement from taking effect and escalated it internally. The listing is still inactive and the violation still shows. I'm not seeking a new review — just for the approved decision to be carried out. Can a Community Manager help get this actioned?

Never use YouLend—this company will stress you out. They never clearly explain the terms and conditions of the money you are borrowing from them. They start calling you the very next month to begin repayment. I have never had this issue with Amazon. Also, the interest rate is extremely high. For a £30,000 loan, I had to pay £7,000 in interest in one year.

Even if your business is a limited company, you still have to give a personal guarantee as a director.

If your sales go down even a little, YouLend’s customer service will call you three times a day, every day, to make sure you keep up with the instalments. They send threatening emails, and no matter what you do, you have to pay—there is no leniency like there is with Amazon loans.

Please never make the mistake of using this company, or you will regret it.

Or basically forcing you into FBA instead, not a chance, never again with their ever changing policies and ending up with stranded inventory.

Had a good few years on amazon but sales have now completely collapsed. Nothing changed and simply dont know why the sudden loss in sales. So we are closing the shop and solely replying on our own website. Has anyone else closed their amazon store and gone solo with their own website? We are sick of the continuous jumping through hoops, customers fraudulently making claims, bad service by royal mail, and the DD+7 payment disbursements. Its simply not worth selling on here. Cost of advertising is through the roof as are the fees. Anyone else gone through similar?

Hi all,

We have a 1-star review on our listing that is clearly fraudulent. The customer purchased, left the review the same day, and the order was cancelled - the product was never shipped, never delivered, and they were never charged.

This is a direct violation of Amazon's own guidelines: "Reviews should be based on actual experience with the product."

We have:

- Reported the review via the Report button

- Raised 5 cases with Seller Support

- Emailed Amazon community help

Every response has been generic. The case was even closed without resolution.

Has anyone actually succeeded in getting a review like this removed? What worked? Any help appreciated.

FBA Mystery: 2,600 Units We Never Sent?!
by Seller_fstIhWah8rRYe
Amazon replied

Hello Sellers,

I’m dealing with a bizarre (and very expensive) FBA issue and I’m hoping someone here has faced something similar.

Here’s what happened:

March 2025: We started selling on Amazon. Not being brand owners yet, we could only sell items already listed. We picked one product, sent inventory to FBA, and started selling.

A few months later: We realized the product wasn’t profitable. We waited for all units to sell and then deleted the listing. So far, so normal.

Four months later: Amazon created a removal order for this ASIN… for 80 units. Problem: we had only ever sent 40 units, and they were already sold. Of course, we were charged removal fees. We opened a case, Amazon agreed the extra units weren’t ours and reimbursed us. Relief, right?

A couple of weeks later: The nightmare continued. Amazon found 2,600 units at their warehouses—again “assigned” to us—and created another removal order. More fees, more stress.

Since August 2025: We’ve been trying to fix this. Every time we ask for proof that these units belong to us, Amazon says the case is under investigation—or asks us again to prove the units are not ours. Their “solution”? Create a removal order ourselves… and pay even more fees.

We feel like we’re stuck in a loop of phantom inventory that we never sent, and it’s costing us a small fortune.

Has anyone dealt with “ghost” FBA inventory like this? How did you get Amazon to finally acknowledge it without racking up removal and storage fees?

Any advice or shared experience would be a huge help!

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for advice from sellers who may have experienced a similar situation.

Shipment ID: FBA15LNNDJJ4

Timeline:

Shipment was delivered to Amazon FC on 30 May 2026.

I have an Amazon-signed POD confirming receipt.

Shipment ID FBA15LNNDJJ4 appears on Row 11 of the POD manifest.

More than 14 days have now passed.

The shipment status remains "Delivered".

The shipment has never progressed to "Checked In" or "Receiving".

What I've already done:

Opened a case requesting a Fulfillment Center investigation.

Explained that I am NOT requesting reimbursement or shipment reconciliation.

Explained that I am requesting a shipment location investigation because the shipment has never entered the receiving process.

Provided the Amazon-signed POD.

Provided the manufacturer packing slip.

The problem:

Seller Support keeps responding with shipment reconciliation templates, stating that reconciliation can only be performed after the shipment is closed.

However, my concern is not reconciliation. My concern is that Amazon has already signed for the shipment, but it has remained in Delivered status for over two weeks without any check-in activity.

I specifically asked Support to investigate:

Whether the shipment has reached the assigned FC.

Whether it is sitting in a trailer yard, inbound dock, staging area, or another internal location.

Whether it has been associated with the wrong shipment ID.

Whether there are any receiving exceptions preventing check-in.

Unfortunately, these questions have not been answered.

Has anyone experienced a shipment that remained in Delivered status for this long despite having an Amazon-signed POD?

Were you able to get FC Research involved?

Is there any escalation path besides the standard Seller Support case process that helped resolve a similar issue?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
