FBA EU Set Up
by Seller_32MphwRt4pURK
Amazon replied

Hiya,I recently had a phone call with our Account Manager regarding Pan-European FBA, as we’re looking into getting set up with Amazon FBA in the EU.

He mentioned a third-party company that can help with the setup and deal with the VAT side of things.

He also mentioned that Amazon may be helping companies with the costs of setting up FBA EU.However, he hasn’t yet sent over the details of the third-party company or explained exactly how Amazon is helping to fund/support the setup.

Has anyone else had experience with this or been given details of the third-party companies Amazon is working with? Thanks! 😊

Case ID : 11654640052

So, I sold a valuable Lego Set on Amazon in Mid August through FBA, which the seller returned to Amazon 4 days later. It left Amazon as Brand New and was returned as Used - Poor (unsellable). A return request was made to return the item to me, which Amazon cancelled nearly a month later and I had to raise a new Return Request. The item I finally received back yesterday was missing all the mini-figures, the sticker sheet and, out of the 24 bags that were originally in the set, only 16 were returned and most of those have been opened, anything of any value removed and then heat sealed back up. In all, about £500.00 worth of parts have been removed.

Obviously, I have raised a complaint with Amazon but, get this, since the item was sold, Amazon have decided they no longer sell the set and removed it from their website on 16/09/25 - about a month after the item was purchased and returned to them and whilst awaiting return of the item under the original return request. So now I am being told that, because the item is not allowed to be sold on their site, they are unable to process reimbursements as it is a prohibited item!

I'm not sure why they suddenly decided the set couldn't be sold on their site but apparetly it was due to safety and/or non-compliance issues - it's a Lego set so I'm sure it shouldn't have any issues anyway - but that's beside the point as this was decided nearly a month after the item was sold on their site!

This basically means the buyer can continue to rip of vendors on Amazon and Amazon can't be bothered to even look into this or even look to see whether the buyer has repeatedly ordered expensive Lego sets and then returned then a few days later as "damaged".

I'd appreciate anyone else who have had similar issues to this letting me know if anything was ever resolved.

Had a good few years on amazon but sales have now completely collapsed. Nothing changed and simply dont know why the sudden loss in sales. So we are closing the shop and solely replying on our own website. Has anyone else closed their amazon store and gone solo with their own website? We are sick of the continuous jumping through hoops, customers fraudulently making claims, bad service by royal mail, and the DD+7 payment disbursements. Its simply not worth selling on here. Cost of advertising is through the roof as are the fees. Anyone else gone through similar?

Hello,

We are preparing to sell silicone baby weaning/feeding sets on Amazon UK (Great Britain) and would like to confirm the exact compliance and testing requirements before importing the products.

Our sets may include items such as a silicone suction plate, bowl, bib, spoon/fork, drinking cup with straw and other feeding accessories.

Our manufacturer has already provided third-party laboratory reports issued by Centre Testing International (CTI) for the silicone material used to manufacture the products, including:

• REACH / 235 SVHC Test Report

• Phthalates Test Report (EN 14372 test method)

• EN 71-3 – Migration of Certain Elements

• LFGB / BfR Recommendation XV – Silicone Food Contact Material

• FDA 21 CFR 177.2600

• MSDS

The important point we would like to clarify is that these existing reports mainly describe the tested sample as “silicone”, “silicone material” or “silicone sheet”, rather than the complete finished baby weaning set.

The manufacturer confirms that this tested silicone material is used to manufacture the finished products.

Could an Amazon representative please clarify the following specifically for Amazon.co.uk / Great Britain?

1. Are these existing material test reports acceptable if the finished products are manufactured from exactly the same tested silicone material?

2. Or does Amazon require laboratory testing to be carried out on the actual finished baby feeding/weaning products?

3. If finished-product testing is required, which specific standards/tests does Amazon UK require? For example, is a full EN 14372 test required for feeding utensils and EN 14350 for drinking equipment?

4. Is a separate BPA-Free test report/certificate required? Our existing REACH/SVHC laboratory report already includes Bisphenol A (BPA) within its testing scope. Would this be acceptable, or does Amazon require a dedicated BPA test on the finished product?

5. Are LFGB/BfR, REACH, EN 71-3 or any other chemical tests required to be repeated on the finished product even when the silicone material already has accredited third-party laboratory reports?

6. Does Amazon UK require a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) for this product category?

7. Are CE or UKCA markings required for an ordinary baby feeding/weaning set which is not marketed or intended as a toy?

8. What product and packaging photographs does Amazon require for compliance verification? Would photographs showing all sides of the finished product and packaging, including labels, warnings/instructions, manufacturer/importer details and batch/traceability information be sufficient?

We have seen some previous answers in the Amazon UK Seller Forums referring to CPC, CPSIA and CPSA tracking-label requirements. As these appear to relate to US regulations, could you also please confirm that these are not the requirements for products sold exclusively on Amazon UK / Great Britain, and provide the applicable UK requirements instead?

We want to ensure that all necessary testing and labelling is completed correctly before importing the products, while avoiding unnecessarily repeating tests that have already been carried out on the silicone material.

Thank you very much for your help.

brand ungate for my shop
by Seller_KNsAlNj0BBiuN
Amazon replied

Hi All - I'm having a hard time getting a response to an ungate appeal. Originally the response was set for 17th February but I still haven't had a response on the case.

Anyone else experience this? Any idea how long it'll take for them to get back to me?

Something has changed.

Previously an order despatched on a Saturday would promise delivery for Monday

(Mainly as RoyalMail dont promise to delivery on a Sunday for Tracked24 sent on a Saturday)

But it now states Sunday delivery for Saturday despatches.

can anyone point me to where the setting is to remove Sunday as a delivery promise day?

Hello Seller Community,

I am experiencing a serious issue and wanted to share in case others are affected too.

The Problem:

Amazon has set a Competitive Price Threshold of £1.85 on my listing (ASIN: B0B5CG3FVS). This has caused me to lose the Featured Offer/Buy Box entirely.

However this threshold is impossible because:

Amazon FBA fee for this ASIN = £1.70

Referral fee = approximately £0.15

Total fees already exceed £1.85

No seller can physically fulfil at this price

Amazon also automatically changed my listing price to £1.85 without my permission, causing financial loss on every sale.

What I have tried:

Opened multiple support cases — all closed with generic replies

Manually restored price to £4.49

Set minimum price

Requested escalation to Pricing Team

I have noticed similar threads from:

wanlin24 — same issue, March 2026

Zihuarui_Trading_830 — same issue, April 2026

caimeng_eu — competitive threshold below FBA fees

Bloomy_Dream — Buy Box lost due to price matching

This appears to be a systemic platform error affecting multiple UK sellers.

Has anyone found a successful resolution? I would also appreciate if an Amazon moderator could look into this.

Case number: [12619532192, 12619413652, 12606781172, 12567467612, 12551132592,

Thank you

Hi all,

Hope you can help? I was deregistered for VAT on the 1st August this year and contacted Amazon straight away to inform them. They are now demanding a VAT number from me and obviously I haven't got one. I filled out all their forms yesterday but again when it came to the tax form it wanted a VAT number so I sent a screenshot of the message from HMRC saying that as of the 1st of August I will be deregistered from VAT but need to pay my VAT up to the 31st July 2026. It was a very basic message and didn't have my Vat number as it was sent direct to my HMRC messages.

Has anyone been through this? I'm literally pulling my hair out as I've been in business for 15 years and Amazon are saying I have 56 days to comply or they will stop my selling rights.

Hope someone can point me to some help. I spoke to an advisor for almost an hour yesterday and they said to fill out the form. AAArgh!

Many thanks

Sandy
