Displaying your certifications on Amazon Business can help you reach more business buyers and grow your B2B sales.
The demand is real. In 2025, customers with buying policies that prefer sellers with certifications spent over $450 million with sellers who displayed their certifications. And first-time certified sellers on Amazon Business saw an average of 10% B2B growth in 2024.
That’s because business buyers have procurement policies, diversity spend requirements and compliance mandates. When your certifications are visible, these buyers can discover you faster.
“Being a minority- and woman-owned business, we understand the importance of certifications,” says Debbie Balanza, founder of Cymbal, a provider of specialised communication technology. “Amazon Business helped us highlight our certifications, making it easier for buyers to find us and achieve their diversity spend.”
Once you’ve uploaded your certifications, they will appear on your seller profile and product pages. When business customers set procurement preferences for specific certifications, your products will surface in their searches and recommendations. You may also get featured in storefronts and seasonal marketing campaigns that business buyers actively browse.
To upload your certifications, take the following steps:
All certifications are provided by third-party agencies. Amazon does not provide any certifications.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my experience so other sellers can be careful during Amazon video verification.
My seller account was deactivated after a video verification. During the verification, I was asked questions about my business operations, and I accept that I did not explain everything clearly enough at the time. This caused confusion about my ownership and control of the account.
After the deactivation, I submitted identity documents, company documents, supplier invoices, bank statements, and explanations to Amazon.
One issue that created more confusion was a personal loan transaction from a friend. The bank transfer reference included the words “business partner,” but this person is not my business partner, does not own any part of my company, does not manage my Amazon account, and has no access or control over my business.
I have explained this to Amazon and submitted supporting documents, but I am still going through the appeal process.
My advice to other sellers is:
Be fully prepared before any video verification
Make sure you can clearly explain who owns and operates the account
Keep all business documents organised
Avoid confusing bank references or payment descriptions
Make sure no one else has access to your account unless officially added and properly documented
This situation has been very stressful, and I hope other sellers can avoid the same mistake.
If anyone has gone through a similar issue and successfully resolved it, I would appreciate any advice.
Please someone help. My business has been closed down out of the blue for no fault of my own. The impact this has on business owners is so big i really wish you could understand. The stress is unreal, my business is not operating just out of the blue. No access to money, no access to my inventuary to access to even reply to customers. This is such an bad process i really hope others its happened too have managed to pull through.
I am on day 3 of no business.
The details are the same, the card is the same, the bank is the same. This has been working for over the last month no issues, this is out of the blue no changes from me
Please someone out there help me, restore my livelihood and allow me to provide for my family again.
I have been trying to reactivate my account its saying it needs more information and i have submitted the photo ID as well as took the picture but it keeps denying me. i dont understand why there is no customer service that i can speak to. there is no longer an option to do a video call like the replies are telling me to do. how can this get fixed. i dont understand why this is so hard to fix.
I am seeking assistance regarding an issue with my account. I have submitted a CS01 form; however, no information appears on the document. I have also provided all relevant documents filed with Companies House, including the most recent CS01, PSC01, and an official letter from my accountant, but these have been repeatedly rejected.
The reason given is that the share allotment document provided is not the most recently filed. However, I have already submitted the latest version available on Companies House.
I have been trading on Amazon for over three years without any previous issues. I am the sole director of the company, and all company information is up to date and publicly available on Companies House.
Could you please clarify why my documents are being declined and why my account has been deactivated?
Hi everyone,
We used to sell on Amazon at A RESONABLE volume — hundreds of orders per week — and our account health was always excellent. Late dispatch, cancellations, A‑to‑Z, feedback… all consistently strong.
The only issue we struggled with was VTR. Because Royal Mail often didn’t scan items, our Valid Tracking Rate sat anywhere between 56% and 75%, even though everything was dispatched on time and delivered without problems.
Back then, VTR enforcement felt very strict and we even had payments re-held because of it. That hit our cash flow hard, so we eventually stepped away from FBM.
Looking at the forum now, a lot of sellers seem to be operating normally with VTR in the 80–90% range, and Amazon doesn’t appear to be enforcing it as aggressively as before.
So my question is:
Is FBM still worth doing in 2026, or are VTR and payment holds still a major risk for small/medium sellers?
We’re considering coming back, but only if the situation has genuinely improved.
Thanks for any guidance.
