2021 Christmas Sales Worse Than Expected

In the current climate I wasn’t expecting a great year this year, but has anyone’s Christmas sales even taken off yet on Amazon? because mine are just running like an ordinary week, if not quieter.

I’m sure this is about the third thread in this kind of line.
I don’t sell anything that could be classed as presents etc, or even bought in for Christmas, but the last few days I’ve seen about a 40 - 50% increase in sales.

As always with this kind of thing, it will depend on what your selling and many other factors.

Still early days, everyone waiting for Black Friday perhaps? There’s still plenty of time for it to pick up. :slightly_smiling_face:

It’s following a more “traditional” year for me. Black Friday normally always kicks it all off, saying that every year (excluding last year) the busy time seems to get squished into a shorter time frame. Not good when the postal network is getting worse!

We’re 18% down on last year but I’m quite relieved. Last year’s sales were insane.

We’re pretty much on par with 2019.

I am on course to have my best ever sales month. Sales have been insane since the start of the month.

There is still plenty of time for sales to pick up if you haven’t seen the uplift yet. I would say people maybe holding back for Black Friday and November pay day.

We are about 50% up on last November so far which is a miracle seeing as all the stock we’ve sent to FBA is sat at DHL waiting for Amazon to accept it.
