Exactly the same problem and when I tried to email them (Contact Us) alI I got was “Internal Failure” and it refused to accept my email. Can’t see any internal failure on my laptop’s fault. Hope someone else can help as well as I’m stuck. The whole thing seems aimed as big companies, not sole traders. Maybe this forum will increase until someone somewhere can help
That’s basically it. You have to authorise yourself and send/upload the letter to Amazon. Crazy but it works!
I’m having to do this currently too. It’s mildly amusing to have to authorize yourself. Also fun composing your own letterhead!
My listings don’t seem to have been effected so it’s just awaiting the ‘Okay’ from Amazon to get that pesky banner off the top of my seller account.
I had the same last week out of the blue.I created a letter head with business details etc.then I copied and pasted the text from the help page filling in the appropriate details and sent it onto them. They then said they needed more information.
This involved going to the account info page and updating the primary person contact info by ticking the I am the legal representative of this company. This must be set to no as default as I had never even noticed this before, and then hey ho the next morning everything was ok.sales were a little slower whilst all this was going on from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
Thank you guys for all you help, much appreciated.
But have another problem now
Hello
Wondering if anyone can help or advise please.
My account was on hold for 4 x complaints for inauthentic items. I hadn’t sold none of the 4 since last August. But still provided the invoices, and also the scratch/check i had checked on the day screenshots & back of the items in question so they could see the codes matched of what was checked. I got email back that wanted a plan, yea i sent that too. Then got a letter back saying wasnt sufficient, and they added 2 more ASIN’s which i have not sold or got since june last year. I re wrote plan sent of again, only to get a letter back same as 1st that account on hold for inauthentic, minus the 2 original ASIN but added 2 more new ones. Again which i have not sold this year but are genuine as they are from the manufactrer itself. Sent invoice blah blah again and a certificate issued to me from manyfacturer authorising me to sell their products.
Only this time i get a letter back saying i can no longer sell on Amazon and i have been suspended…and that they will not reply to any more emails regarding this issue…
Is there anything i can do?
Thank you in advaance
