Adding new items for sale
I am not sure why Amazon make it so complicated to add new items to sell - to be honest, it drives me absolutely nuts.
Trying to add a new item and when I try and add the Product ID, it wont accept anything I put in? Keeps saying I havent got enough characters or I have gone over the minimum characters? I choose to use an ASIN and usually Amazon allocated me a Product ID anyway.
I hate it!

May I ask which product identifier are you trying to use?
When creating a listing, you will have several options of product identifiers you can select from.
Just make sure that the correct option was selected before entering the number:
UPC - typically 12 digits long and represents attributes such as the weight of the product, the product type, name, etc.
EAN - is the same as a UPC, except it has a single digit country code prefixed to it, thus making it 13 digits long.
JAN - Japanese Article Numbers.
ASIN - if there is an existing listing for the exact same product on a different Amazon marketplace.
ISBN - books, magazines, e-books and other published media can be uniquely marked using this identifier.
GTIN - Global Trade Item Numbers, they are 14 digits.
