Amazon are now wanting your Passport Information
I am totally shocked that when trying to update a new member of staffs user permission Amazon are saying they want her passport information.
This information is private and personal and for data protection reason do not feel they have the right to be asking for such information.
Giving her access to the inventory page for our site does not mean Amazon have the right to her Passport information
Anyone had this.

What do people without a passport do ?
We wonder what a job centre or recruitment company would say if you stated you only wanted to interview/employ people who had a passport, as they wouldn’t be able to work for you, due to Amazon’s requirements.

I have a problem with permissions.
I wanted to enable a warehousing (Ltd) company to act as my prep centre and I’ve been asked to provide their passport.
Companies do not need to have passports. People do.
How do I overcome this requirement?
How can it be fixed?
I cannot edit their pormissions without the details Amazon asks and (apparently) they have an unlimited access to my account.
Do I need to mention, that it is not a good thing for me?

Simple choice really, comply or don’t add new users.
This is an added level of security for both your account and for Amazon so you are not going to be able to workaround this.
Can’t see the issue really.

I have just been faced with the same issue and am absolutely furious about this as I cannot view any User Permissions for any additional Users without this information. If I am accessing my Seller Account through my Primary account log in then why on earth am I being restricted from viewing something that I should be able to see as I’ve set it up?
Furthermore, I can’t even view permissions of automated 3rd party User accounts which I use for managing feedback - a company we found through an advertisement on the Amazon Seller Login page itself!!!
I can understand if Amazon restricted it so that only the primary contact to make changes to user accounts, especially as the Primary contact already has to be verified. But this is totally ridiculous.
A stupid policy that has been poorly executed.
