Hi there,
Is anyone here that can advise me on how to make a stock liquidation in Europe?
Recently Ive bought 98 watches with very good Amazon ranks (Michael Kors, Armani Exchange & Emporio Armani and Tommy Hilfiger). Even though I
ve got the approval in brand category, Amazon is still asking for a letter from the brand/manufacture in order to sell this products.
The brand dosent answer to any of my emails. I
ve bought the products from an authorized distributor.
Thank you in advance,
Tavi
Hi its highly unlikely you will get authorisation to sell these in my oppinon big name brands tend to restrict the ability of firms to resell so they can manage the market and pricing.
You tend to find they will sell to X amount of wholesalers then they will have another agreement in place with the Re-seller for prices and at times places in which items can’t be sold.
Should you not be asking the authorised distributor for the letter from the brand, they may get a better response, or may have authority to issue such letters on the brands behalf, if they are authorised distributors?
If not, then the distributor should ask the brand to add you to their approved relailer list, then issue the letter?
I’d bet the house you won’t find any help from the brands for this.
Watches are a major alarm bell for fakes. Regardless you have all the right docs… so do the fake sellers.
Sorry mate but IMO you’re flogging a dead one here.
Auctions are a good idea but again only the biug names will make anywhere close what you need to malke back as they’re trusted, but maybe able to help at a cost.
Just do a google search for the locationi you are - there will be hundreds but only so many will accept these brands other then lotting as “Gents Ornate Watch Yellow Metal”. As they have to err on the side of caution due to no proof of authenticity - even if you have it.
Personally I wouldn’t touch these brands with a bargepole. There are so many fakes out there so you would be bombarded with IP complaints. I expect even if you were to sell these on other marketplaces you will experience similar issues.
