Another INR with GPS and photo
Another INR with GPS ( in their garden )and photo yet wants a refund and not a replacement.
Also said that they won’t take it further if I refund them. Its via Amazon shipping - Is there any risk? vs refunding without then initiating an A-z claim
These people are the the dregs of the customer base. If the item has been stolen from their property then this is an issue for themselves and the Police. By asking for delivery then surely they should make themselves available to receive the goods. Can you order a take a way and not be at home?
Our Evri guy told me that he no longer delivers to INR addresses on his round. All their post is rejected at the depot. Bravo.

It is about time all couriers do not leave in ‘Safe Places’ - most are not Safe places at all.
The Buyer could be right and it was stolen, as if I was a thief, I’d follow all the couriers around. So, then if not there, should the Buyer raise with you, and you claim for INR (Item Not Received), from the courier?
It should be the Sellers option to allow the delivery anywhere other than the address that is on the parcel, and if delivered elsewhere, then the courier pays out a claim.
By law, the Seller must ensure delivery to the person, not just leave in the garden. We normally provide GPS, photos etc, and the Buyer locates the item in their shed, garden, bin, etc. If they don’t though, do you want a claim against you, or not? – it should not be up to the Buyer to call the police, but you can log with the police and crimes unit.
Are Evri any better than they used to be, as Royal Mail are now on the old Evri level, with leaving on doorsteps, etc, to cut down costs, in their own admission.

Was this with Evri? If so ask the buyer to complete a “Denial of Receipt” form as most of the time you won’t hear back from chancers again. I have one saved but if you open a claim with Evri they will send you one. Evri do pay out in these instances but Royal Mail don’t I believe.
I would have thought a garden was a secure location (assuming it’s the back garden) but many buyers know how quickly sellers often refund to avoid a-z which impacts metrics.

RM have jut changed their T&C’s to state that a GPS + Safe Place is now a nailed on delivery. This must be legal?
This particular claimer has gone into the night as we held our ground. Im sure all the marketplaces log the INRS. Its such a shame they don’t allow us to progress orders based on historical delivery data.
